Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Cool Pic ! What an awesome way to celebrate the holiday !!
Reminds me if EPCOT years ago I do miss that !!
I used to love WDW at Christmas time years ago - they used to do a lot more than they do now
Thanksgiving at WDW was a blast - I found the crowds low and I thanked every Cast Member I saw for working as I knew they were not home with their families - I wanted them to know I appreciated them being there ! It was nice not having to cook & clean for a holiday !! Wish I could do it every holiday ! 🤣🤣🤣

1.Thanksgiving-to be fair all my favorite times surround lots of food lol
2. Football-we just finished my son's pop warner season so we get to all sit and actually watch the games on tv without rushing around
3. I don't know how to explain it, but the "quiet" of November before Christmas season hits...I can usually catch up on housecleaning and etc before the rush of Christmastime

1. My daughter’s and nephew’s birthdays…my two favorite people.

2. Thanksgiving, including my homemade apple crumb pie, watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade, and the time off from work.

3. Decorating for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving.

Today's Topic (Wed. 11/2) - 3 Things You're Grateful For About November

1 Extra season of Thanksgiving

2 Start of the Holy season of Advent and setting up my Nativity set

3 Giving God thanks in an extra way forever first and foremost for Him and also for those He has trusted me with to love and care for.

November
1. Cooler weather
2. Three days off work (Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, and the day after Thanksgiving)
3. Thanksgiving and specifically the Thanksgiving service at my church. Yes, we have a service on Thanksgiving Day. It's an hour of spontaneous personal testimonies/thanksgiving and praise reports, and hymns by request. The only thing planned is the first song (maybe) and by tradition and request of the wife of the man who was MC for 30+ years before he passed, we end with God Bless America. It is seriously my favorite service of the entire year, even above Easter and Christmas Eve.

1) sun smile.png Sunny Days!! sun smile.png - Sunshine makes me happy - whether it's 80 degrees or 30, so I'm grateful for sunny days.

2) rain ☔ - I try to be grateful for rain, too (though that song from Camelot comes to mind 🤔 ) because the plants do need to grow.

3) the change of seasons - As every season comes around, I tend to find I'm getting tired of the previous one (even though I was looking forward to that one before it started  ). I'm glad I live in a place with a visible change of seasons.

Weather:

1. I do love the change of the seasons and all that goes with it—different clothing, footwear, decorations and food and drink.

2. Breezes—whether at the beach (my favorite) or just at home, a gentle breeze is a great addition to a nice day.

3. First accumulating snow—makes the outside look clean (for a few hours).

1. Stormy Days-I actually LOVE a good grey rainy day
2.Fluffy, slow falling, giant snowflake type of days
3.Fall days in the 55-60 degree range
*The first two are specifically for when I don't have to go anywhere and can just be in my house enjoying them-otherwise not as much of a fan lol

Today's Topic (Thur. 11/3) - 3 Things You're Grateful For...Related to Weather

I love all of what you said, Bobbiwoz! I do get cold easily and prefer warmer weather but am grateful for all.

1 No matter the weather be it 😎or🌦️inside at heart or outside, how beyond grateful I am to know God is with us. Likewise, that each of us has the blessing of bringing extra 🌞to someone else.

2 Spring showers to help grow 🌸 and🌳

3🌈reminder of God's Presence always.

Weather gratitude . . .
1. Sunshine. 🌞 It brightens my mood and perspective!
2. Warm days. I love popping outside for sunshine breaks or to run errands without needing to bundle up with bulky layers.
3. A gentle breeze, especially when playing outside with the kids or at the beach. Delightful!
