Alas, I'm afraid I've lost my zest for writing...
I've been living vicariously thru other TR'ers who have returned more recently. I haven't even started a new book because I'm having too much fun reading all the talented writers I have found here.
Based on comments posted here I believe I have succeeded in encouraging several others to do a sisters only trip, but have failed to convince my own sisters to post their comments. They shall remain forever lurkers, content to let me tell my side of the story. Guess I didn't embellish too much or they would have come out of hiding...
Don't know if we'll ever do it again. There are many other places I'd love to experience with just MS and BS - New York, Boston, New Orleans...big cities with their own flair...I would go back to the Magic in a heartbeat though. It would have to be longer next time, maybe even in a real resort, on-site? and the Boma toast - really bummed I didn't speak up and suggest that...
There's a glimmer of hope that there may be a family trip in the future. DS's high school softball team is planning a spring break trip next year and since she's only on the middle school team now, there might be another trip down the rode if the first one is successful.
Feel like I need to dole (another reason we must return - missed the dole whips!) out many thanks...
Cousin M who had the connections to make our day magically FREE
DH for allowing me to use all the FF miles to fly magically FREE
DS and DD for being magical children and being excited that their mom was going to see Pooh without them.
BS for chauffering us in her luxury vehicle.
MS for attending the convention in Orlando and coming up with the idea.
Mom and Dad - for not having heart attacks when we showed up on their doorstep for the weekend as surprise houseguests!
and Zzub, Kay, Lala, and Nebo for inspiring the inner TR'er in me.
I leave you with this parting shot...
Well, actually, shots in the plural. I couldn't decide which angle I liked better..
Thanks for reading
