Another question about where you will be in Michigan, just a general region will satisy my curiosity

We're going to Bay City,birthplace of Madonna(yes THAT Madonna).From what I understand,it's about 2 hrs from Detroit and situated somewheres in the middle of the 'mitten' that makes up Michegan.I've only been there once,three years ago,so I don't remember too much.We're going to visit DH's grandparents and some other assorted relatives,seeing as DFIL has nine brothers and sisters!!I'm hoping that we'll also get to go to Frankenmuth(sp??)and go to Bronner's which is a large..ok..HOOOGE store that's NOTHING but Christmas stuff year round.The last time we visited we got to go there and DG bought DH and I a very pretty round glass ball ornament that was painted with bright splashes of pale pink and a frosty green.I bought a white kitty cat made of glass with faux fur accents for myself.Last year DG sent DH and I a snowman music box from there as well as a silver wreathe thingie that hangs on the door and has three little jingle bells that hang down from it.Needless to say I LOVE IT!!!^_^
If we don't go to Bronner's,oh well.I'll enjoy just getting out of the house and away from work and all this Texas heat for a little while.

I hope you get to go to Bronner's. I love going there! It's only about 45 minutes from my house & we go every December to get a few new Christmas things. We were on our way home from WDW one year and on I-75 in FL there was a billboard advertising Bronner's.

Thanks guys...I can't WAIT until Saturday.We're going to be leaving at around 4 am to get to our hotel in St.Louis around 7ish that night(providing there are no unscheduled stops,etc).
