Three months ago yesterday I was flooded out...

After 3 HORRENDOUS months at my sister's condo we can FINALLY go HOME!!

Yes, on Christmas eve!

We now have new floors, new carpets, new drywall, and a completely new KITCHEN!

Home, that was ALL I wanted under my Tree!!

LOL, no cooking for me, Ron!!

I know I'll be completely beat after the move so we're getting appetizers from Sam's.

I'm having my sweet but challenged uncle over.... he's my favorite relative in the world. He is 70 but still believes in Santa Claus! He stays with my aunt, his sister, who doesn't celebrate Christmas, so this will be his first Christmas since my parents died. They took care of him for years and treated him like a king, now it's my turn!

This will be a busy but WONDERFUL Christmas!!

Congratulations, Robin. Your upbeat attitude has always inspired me. Blessings to you and your son. BTW, I think it may have been you who posted last year or the year before even about giving a gift certificate tree.

I'm so happy for you getting to go home for Christmas. I had no idea you were still out of your home, this long after the flood. Congratulations.
