Three MDE app questions?

1. DH and I are going to WDW with a cousin and his wife. The wife made dining reservations for us all in a few of the parks. Although we are linked on MDE, the dining reservations are not showing up on my app (she/the wife says she does not believe that she put names on the reservations except for her own name.) How do I get those reservations put on my app so that when I book LLMP's for us all, our ride picks will not overlap our dining? Or will the dining reservations automatically show up because she is in our group?

2. Will it work for me to book the LLMP's at the same time as the cousin's wife books LLSP's for us all? Each on our own MDE app. That's what I have read here, but an older relative that works at WDW - in reservations - says that it is not possible.

3. How do I remove a guest that I have on my Friends and Family list? Several from a previous trip, and one that was accidently added, who will be on this trip, but does not wish to get passes. I do not like clutter and also want to make sure that I don't accidently choose them to get the passes.

I'll try to help, but I struggle with share items like this sometimes too!

1- your wife made the dining reservations through her account, so I assume she can see the ADR in her account. If so, she'll need to add your name to the reservation in MDE, from her F&F list. Same for the others in your party. She should also have the people in her F&F list - those who will be part of this trip - get up to 'share overlapping plans', not all plans.

2- Since LLMP and LLSP are separate, I expect having 2 people making them would work - you'd each have to pay separately for the reservations made.

3- When I remove someone from F&F, I go into the DisneyWorld web site, log in, and go to the F&F list there. If you click 'edit', you'll see a remove button. Again, if you make sure the people on your F&F are set up to only share plans you have together, you shouldn't see the other people come up on your list when doing LL selections, only the people you're are sharing room and/or dining reservations with.

Hope this offers a smidge of help for you!

Thank you for trying.

First of all, I am female. 😉 It's my (DH) husband's cousin's wife that I am talking about. She has control of the dining reservations. She and her husband live in another state. She is going to check on adding our names to the dining reservation.
UPDATE: I know can see the reservations! 👏

We plan to split the cost, yes. Can anyone else confirm that we can be booking different attraction types at the same time?

I started working on a Genie My Day list, and you are correct that those not on the trip are not showing as eligible. However, the one person that will be with us, but not interested in having any type of passes, is still showing in the list. Will it hurt to remove her name?

Also, on my List of Family and Friends are my children and grandchildren from another trip. For some reason, my grandchildren are listed twice. I would like to remove the duplicates.

One more question. The cousins are annual passholders. They had to make reservations for the parks. We all have park hopper. We are going to Animal Kingdom one morning, and then hopping over to EPCOT for the afternoon. So, will the cousin's wife be able to make us a SP for GoG since officially there is not a reservation for them in EPCOT. It is not require if park hopping.

1. Have her modify it and put your names in so you can see them.

2. Haven't done it but it should be possible as long as you guys are not trying for the same things on the same days.

You should be able to remove your grandchildren on your list, at least where it's listed as you being their account manager. It's possible they're on there twice because perhaps your child (the parent of the grandchildren) is also on your F&F, but listed as the manager for your grandchildren?! I hope that makes sense. But if you cannot remove a duplicate for some reason, I'd call Disney support and they can take care of that for you.

For the folks with APs (we have them, so I have some experience here) - having a park res for AK in the morning does not have any impact on making a LLSP for GOTG at EP later in the day. That's allowed. The only issue for them is entering EPCOT - if for some reason they don't enter AK that morning, they'll either need to change their park res to EP or wait until 2PM, after which they can enter EP without a park reservation.

Yes you can split the LLMP and LLSP bookings between 2 MDE accounts. The 2 MDE accounts just need to share a Friends & Family link. Anyone that has a valid ticket for the days you want to book. And yes you both will be able to see, and manage the LLMP and/or LLSP before or during your joint trip.

You might also chose to split your LLMP and/or LLSP bookings based by day, each of you picking alternate days for booking the day's LLMP and LLSP for the travel group.

Does this make sense?

Dave

Awesome. I'm glad when folks can find simple solutions and answers to their questions out here, to make their trip just a bit better!
