Wow!!
When I posted a few pages back I had only just started your TR. So this morning I saved each chapter to my laptop, sat down, had a few coffees and read every chapter and I gotta tell you, it's just brilliant! I laughed out loud a LOT, nodded my head in agreement (and empathy) a LOT and even shed a tear, I kid you not. And there's still so many more chapters to come (please!!).
This post might get long. Sorry in advance!! Too many great bits to quote from....
You have a kid with great taste! 'Wayne' would readily agree! Jimmy Page is Wayne's greatest guitar hero and he was fortunate enough to meet him last year when he came to our city to open an exhibit in the museum. He was totally awestruck and it's a moment he'll never forget. Jimmy (we're on first name terms now obviously
) was incredibly sweet and kind.
OMG!!!
You are too funny!
I know I know. It's nauseating! But even worse, do you remember back in the late 80s when air-keyboarding came in?
I must say though Wayne and Garth (not my pair, the guys in the movie!) did a fine job of it.
It's impossible! Epcot is so HUGE!!!! We had the exact same issue on our 1st trip - we never got to see World Showcase (except for running through it for one ADR) and I was very disappointed. But it couldn't be helped. I now consider Epcot to be 2 separate parks and planned accordingly for our second trip. But I do hope you got to go there and, if not, definitely next time.
That is so sweet!
They tried that but those brake lights kept gettin' in the way.
Am I inviting trouble and opening a whole stinky can of worms if I ask who he is??
OMG! That is amazing. Pure magic!
Brilliant!! You should consider writing a short story with him as the main character!
And the part that made me cry....
Beautiful.

We like the 70's part of the resort best, Jim tells us all the time he wishes he could of had his teen years in that era, he says they had the best music then

that's when Jim pointed down at my feet. "You have on your bedroom slippers Einstein."
OMG!!!

it's funny that you can discuss your plans with total strangers at Disney and you're not looked at as being wierd, you can't do that anywhere else. In line at the grocery store...
Me: I see you got peas in your cart, are you including peas in your dinner
tonight?
Shopper: nods politley.
Me: I'm getting peas too, (show her my can) but I chose the store brand. I am putting it in my chicken pot pie, what are you putting your peas in, or is it just a side veggie?
Shopper: leaves and gets in a different line.
See? it only works at disney.

it's just the whole air guitar thing, it rots my socks.

on the bus I was feeling so guilty for not sticking to the itinerary, we hadn't even seen world showcase

I never feel dumb about my prayers even if the ride does turn out to be not so dangerous, and when we choose to ride again, I say "dear God, ditto" He knows what I mean.
That is so sweet!
But on a crowded day like that it should be manadatory that the parent pushing the stroller wear break lights on the buttocks.

"Just take it for what it is and stop trying to preach the end of the world to me. I am at freakin Disney

I don't care if they scan my fingers, they can scan my *ss if they want to

The little girl sat up smiling and looking drunk, "I don't think I can wait a second more."
OMG! That is amazing. Pure magic!

I love the movie song of the south and it just made me
feel like a kid again, It was my Papa, who took me to see it, I swear I could hear him whistling and smell his old spice again. My Papa had passed away when I was 12 and I still miss him so much, it just felt so good to tell my kids that this was a major thing for me, we rode it again and they wanted to hear more Papa stories. He was such a gentle bear of a man, I remember he told me that rainbows were a promise from God that the storm will never last, I think of him every time I see a rainbow.
Beautiful.
