Everything fine here between BF and I, we're fighting about Barack's speech tonight.

BMEKTV, you're going to Disney during my favorite time of the year---my birthday week! Its absolutely gorgeous...I'm so jealous that you'll have a holiday decorated Disney--we haven't gone other than during the holidays, so I'm half-expecting everything to be covered with tinsel!

We did the candlelight processional two years ago--we didn't even know about ADRs then! We just got on line with everyone else and saw the show. It is so inspiring and it made me cry.

Ok, need some beauty sleep for the big outlet shopping tomorrow! And now I have some money lining my wallet for it!

MagiKitty-You'll have to fill me in tomorrow on your experience with not having ADR and seeing the Candlelight Processional. I want to see it but never made an ADR for it. Have fun shopping and make sure BF buys a non-losable wallet.

Glad you can get there before Christmas. It starts getting full the week before. The Candlelight Processional can be heard and seen without getting the dinner package. That just guarantees you a seat. But you can hear it from the back. The singing is very good. It's outside the American Pavilion in EPCOT.
My friend works at a Disney outlet. He gets free passes so I get in free. I'm not sure how many times we will go. He usually works 4 days a week. I'm sure they will come up with some nonDisney things to do. I'll be there 2 weeks and am driving. I use 2 days since my mom doesn't drive. It's about a19 hour drive.

I'm going to bed too. Need to set the alarm for my day of outlet shopping. Somehow you don't mind the alarm for that. Plus I'll be seeing my aunt and uncle.

You get there about a week after us. Your DH isn't a Disney freak? Oh, the horrors. That's scarrier than the ad for Universal that is all over the boards. Seriously though, my DH didn't want to go to Disney the first time either. He thought it would be once and done too. But this is our 3rd trip in 3 years.

Since I'm the newbie I'll change my ticker...I'm about due for a new one. Nice to hear you managed to convert your hubby...there may be hope mine yet.

Ooh, that's easy for me. It has to be the Grand Floridian. Its just so posh and pretty. It reminds me of the hotel from that Christopher Reeve/Jane Seymour movie "Somewhere in Time".

Free money! I was surprised to see a settlement check in the mail today. I had been notified that someone was suing American Express and that I may be eligible for monies if the company should settle. Fine. Whatever. and then today....my check is for nearly $400! Woo-hoo! That pays off my portion of the trip!

I'm no longer mad at my BF. I still love him. Even if he can't seem to keep track of a wallet!

I vote for the Grand Floridian too. I've already stayed at the BC, BW, and AKL. Can't bring myself to spend the extra $$ for the GF.
My DH received a settlement check yesterday also! Unfortunately it involves his IRA so he has to deposit into his IRA.

Have any of you ever had the fantasy of a long lost relative die and leave you an inheritance? Well my DH was notified in June that a cousin had died, leaving no will. This is a cousin (once removed) DH didn't know his grandfather had eight other siblings! We were sort of hoping to get enough for a Disney trip but with lots of other cousins DH says $50 would be exciting. It won't be settled for another year. Good reminder to write a will.

Just heard the announcement of McCain's VP pick of Sarah Palin. I did watch the Democrat convention speech last night. Trying hard to make a decision on who to vote for and its not easy. I'm a very independent voter so the decision is going to be very tough this Nov. but it will be an exciting.

Shmu - I think you should take the flat TKers to Sci-Fi. Tape us all to the inside of the car and order us all a milk shake (with seperate straws of course). Then take a pic.

M&N and whgrn - What's this I read about pool hopping????? Are you trying to start something????

D&DDisney: Love the picture! I can't wait to eat there. I tried to describe the Sci-Fi to my DS7 when he saw the picture and wanted to know why you were sitting in a car. I told him it was set up like a drive-in movie and tried to describe what a drive-in was. I told him I didn't think he had ever been to a drive-in and he said that he had. I said when. He told me that McDonalds has a drive-in. Poor kid has been deprived!
