I was looking on the photography board. Someone has 6 polls to vote for favorite nighttime photo. They were really good. It was hard to pick some of them. I think I picked all castle pictures. My philosophy is You can never have too many castle pictures! I just love it.

Oh my goodness! Even the thought of the castle gives me butterflies in my tummy! I just cannot wait to go! :)

I still want to say Winston Cup...so I just say Cup because I forget Sprint. And then changing Nationwide--forget it. It just kills me to hear someone say that they were a 3 time Sprint Cup winner---no they weren't. It wasn't called Sprint then. :confused3

I don't see many movies. Glad you can chat with us if it's bad. There's sure nothing on tv tonight. My mom called to tell me her Phillies were winning. She's mad when they loose. It's like the end of the world. One of the players didn't get a hit in 2 games and she thought the manager should take him out of some games. I said even Babe Ruth struck out a lot...she doesn't care about him, he's not on her team!

I'm with you on always calling it the Busch series!

Have you (or anyone else for that matter) seen the move Untraceable? I'm watching it right now with DH. It is yucky! Thank goodness for this great distraction! :)

Never heard of it. Not much of a movie watcher. I have a few favorites I will watch again and again but I think the newest movie I have seen is Enchanted. Being on here is what I do to relax after a day of playing referee with the kids. :rotfl:

I use to always check out the photography board until my internet got messed up. Now it is so slow that it takes forever for the pictures to load. I love the castle and seeing pictures of it and yet I never seem to take very many of it while on vacation. I'll have to fix that this year.

The Magic Kingdom is my favorite. I just love standing in front of the train station looking down Main Street USA! It's just so special. (sigh):goodvibes

I think Magic Kingdom is my favorite too. The castle, the atmosphere, all the little touches that went into it. And of course our first ride on Pirates of the trip. DD5 can barely sit in her seat while waiting to see her "boyfriend" for the first time.

M&N-that's so cool that your mom loves baseball and the phillies so much! I keep saying they are going to be my next favorite team. I've been a Yankees fan for years, but am getting tired of all the drama with them. My DH is a HUGE Red Sox fan-we've had some fun rooting for our separate teams in the last few years! I do love that Chase Utley on the Phillies!

Racetrack-I LOVE the movie Enchanted! The only way I used to be able to get my oldest DS to clean his room was to play the Happy Working Song from the soundtrack! That movie almost made me wish I had a little girl too!

I have lots of the castle. Some good ones from Christmas too. I saw a pic that I do not have and will have to check it out. They stood near the carousel and got the castle and top of carousel. You just keep an eye on it and see how many great views you get.

Magic Kingdom is the park I am most excited for! We can't decide what day of our trip we want to go there for the first time. I would imagine that we will end spending more than one day there as we will be there for 6 days. :cool1:

Mom's always loved the Phillies, even when they were in last place. My favorite player used to be Larry Bowa. I was forced to pick a fav because of mom so I picked Shane Victorino (don't know how to spell last name!) I like to say Shane. Did you ever see that movie? It was a western and at the end Shane leaves the ranch and the little boy yells Shane after him. It's a pretty old movie. I did not see it in the theater...:rotfl:

I use to watch baseball with my dad. Phillies were our team too. I remember Larry Bowa, Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton, etc. I use to have a crush on Mitch Williams. :rotfl: Dad likes all the Philly teams and I did too just because he did. Well, except for the Eagles. I just could never like them.

I know of the movie you are talking about but of course I haven't seen it.

Have you checked out any of the other planning websites that give predictions for the least crowded days based of previous year's crowds?

And you will definately need more than one day for MK. We are planning 2 full days plus one night for the Christmas Party.

Are you staying on-site?

We are staying on site-thanks to Disney54us  ! We are staying at OKW. I haven't found the websites you mentioned yet. Do you know what I can search to find them?

Uh oh! DH just asked if I was about done with the computer! My time is short tonight! Probably good for me though... I need some zzz's!

aleciajab-I'll send you a pm with the info. Along with the links for the sites. You do have to pay for both of them but you can at least check them out a little to see if they would be helpful. I always look at it as buying another guide book just it's on the computer.

I hope you love MVMCP...I sure did. And make sure you use that Photopass. They will take more than 1 too---just of the kids, you and DH, whole family. Then when you look at them at home before ordering cd, you get to crop and add borders. There are special ones just for the party. You can save 1 with each kind of border if you like them. You end up with lots of pics on your cd that way. Also the Osborne lights...the cd is the best way to go for that. I use my camera too but theirs were clearer. Each park has it's own borders. I'll have to see if I can post pics soon. I just love taking pictures...

We've used photopass the last 2 years that we have gone. The first year, we didn't really get many pictures because we were not too sure about how it worked. But last year, we had over 130 taken and turned them into 600 for the cd. I love photopass now that I know where to look for the photographers.

I love taking pictures while I'm there too. I think last year we (DD12 and I) took almost a thousand between us. DH thinks we're crazy. We will even take pictures of the same exact thing. We just see things differently and our pictures are always different.

When I went to England in the 70's we took slides. My 2 friends and I got together in my basement and set up 3 slide projectors and showed our pics in the order we took them to compare. They were bascially the same but some differences. So we ordered some of each others too. It was fun to do that.

My friend and I did not do that on the cruise because we were afraid we would run out of memory sticks. At Disney, I go to Walgreens about every day and get put on cd.

I'm looking to get one of those SD card readers to download my pictures each day after being in the park. I thought about getting one last year but never got around to it. If we didn't stay onsite, I would do the same as you so I wouldn't have to worry at all.

Is it me, or does it seem like there is alot of strange weather this year? There was the tornados near Pikester, a minor earthquake near me, Fay has hit Florida how many times already and just today, there were tornados near Denver.

Is the card reader just something you stick card in...no computer necessary? I'm not up on technology that much.

The weather has been strange. We've had lots of hail around here, damaging crops. It was big hail too. You used to hear of hail every couple of years but I know of 3 places around here this summer. And I really cannot get over how cool it's been in Aug--relatively speaking. The humidity came up today. I think at least 3 days in 5 day report on Weather Channel had under 80 for highs.

I'm going to sign off. I hope all yours had good 1st days of school.
Night...
