Ummmm, you want me to tell you my "secrets"?:flower3: The way I do it isn't too involved or else I wouldn't be able to mass-produce them with students.

"P-p-p-please Eddie..." (in honor of your avatar...)
If you don't mind, that would be wonderful. I thought they were so cute, and they are the perfect "kid involvement gift." (We can only paint so many pots and birdhouses.:rotfl:

Good morning everyone! Yes, the laundry has been rescued. I have more to do tonight, but I'm scared it'll rain again. Its been raining in the evenings a lot here. Ordinarily, I would have stayed for the rest of the concert, but there was a lot of wind and lightning that night, and I'm not going to risk myself for a concert (even for my husband David Cook).

I must be in the minority here, coz I don't mind shopping for bras. I get fitted every year and look at it as an opportunity to get new cute stuff! I'm a 38D/40C and I seem to have a lot of luck at TJMaxx/Marshalls. Also, this week both Lane Bryant and Victoria's Secret have sales. I just got the VS wireless IPEX bra for $20 and free shipping! This is a great bra, I highly recommend it. Comfy, washes well, and keeps the girls looking fabulous. The website as more range of sizes...

My friends are supposedly coming up for the weekend. Its just so complicated--my gay guys are just so dramatic! Two of them are a couple, and the third is a common friend. Well, one of them really is a drama queen, so the friend has opted to take the bus rather than drive 4 hours with the couple. I don't care how they get here, as long as they do. We have plans to shop, see fireworks, hit the casino and go to the drive-in. Its shaping up to be lots of fun! But I still have to prep for the visitors, which I hate to do....

Shmu, I'm sorry the situation wasn't truly resolved. I hope one day the pastor willl see the error of his ways and use this time as a learning experience. Its so nice that your children are so involved, and that DS is looking out for his sister. They sound so wonderful, I can't wait to meet them.

Oh! I may have booked BF and I on a Wishes cruise on the 17th. I really wasn't planning on doing it, but its the one thing that BF tells everyone about so I looked into it and found a couple who were looking to fill their boat. They seem really nice and have been good in maintaining contact. Since we have free dining, I told BF he's taking care of tips and I'm taking care of secret surprise stuff.

Ok, back to work. Let us know how the seed cards work out! I used to make paper in college, I just recyled old newspaper, cut it up and soaked it, added color and other stuff, pressed it on an old window screen and let it dry. It worked out pretty well and I had personal notecards for ages. I always gave them as hostess gifts.

It's a beautiful day so far so I thought I had better take a picture of it. Between isolated thunder storms and isolated thunderstorms, I don't know which way is up.

Told you that Senior Pastor called and apologized and was going to talk with the Children's Pastor (he is the guilty one and very high strung)
DH got home from work yesterday and Children's Pastor had called. He "apologized" as best as we will ever get him to apologize. He admitted he should have called us first. That is the only thing he is sorry for.
Believe me, I have all of my eyes watching him like a hawk. If he so much as makes one little bitty comment you may see me on the headline news.
All 4 of us have talked as a family and my saving grace for the next two camps that DD will be on with him is that my DS will be with her for the first one.
This month, DD and DS are going to be camp counselors at a kids camp for a week. And yes, the same Children's Pastor is in charge.

Doesn't sound much like an apology to me. I would let Sr Pastor know exactly what he said and ask if he feels like that is all that needed to be said. You sure don't. How can you possibly think children are going to listen to what he says if he treats them that way? And is not willing to admit to a mistake? I sure would not like being in the company of someone who treated me or my friend that way.

You are the first I heard say don't mind shopping for bras.

You would be a good friend to have around. Sounds like the weekend will not be dull for sure. We don't have drive ins anymore. Keep that laundry safe.

Glad you could get in on a Wishes cruise. Sounds like BF would like to do it again. Do you hold out telling him until the day of?

I don't have plans for the 4th. My aunt and uncle cannot come. We invited friends to take their place at the dinner theater---seeing Footloose. We watch the Boston Pops fireworks on tv. The only live ones on the 4th are the ones after the minor league baseball game. And of course watch the NASCAR stuff from Daytona.

Hope this helps. He's making the patrons think money when they look at you.

Good afternoon everyone!

Just thought I would touch base with you all. Our plans for 4th of July are as follows:

As long as it doesn't rain DH and DS10 are planning on riding their bikes out to my Inlaws house; it's a 8 mile ride. We will be having a cookout around 5:00p with atleast 14 people in attendence; that includes us. After playing lawn jarts (we have the real ones!), croquet and stuffing our faces we will set off the very small amount of fireworks that we have purchased. Usually we all get together and buy about $300 worth of stuff but with how tight the money is lately we decided to save it and not blow it up! Then we will pack up our stuff (lawn chairs, tables, toys, bikes, etc.), say goodbye and head home to clean up and fall into bed.

My MIL is such a great lady! She prepares all of the food for the cookout. I usually bring a couple of desserts and the other two families will bring a dish of something but the majority of it is MIL. I will be bringing my famous place and bake chocolate chip cookies, most of the credit goes to Pillsbury though. I am also bringing peanutbutter chip brownies. One boxed brownie mix and one package of peanutbutter chips. Mix according to box and add chips, bake, cool, cut and enjoy!

MagiKitty-Your friends sound like a scream! ;)

Oh my friends are a scream all right.,,,a scream of frustration! They still haven't finalized their travel plans. Its driving me crazy! Yeah, our drive-ins is one of the few left....they have Wall-E there and I can't wait to see it! Has anyone seen it yet?

Footloose at the dinner theater?! I love that movie (it also helps that BF kinda looks like Kevin Bacon hee hee!) Our area doesn't do fireworks on the 4th either, they save it for the Town's Anniversary in August. So we'll have to drive to another town to find the fireworks...

No, I'm trying desperately not to tell BF about the cruise. I'm terrible at keeping surprises though....I just get so excited!

Mmm...peanut butter brownies! Sounds like a lovely way to celebrate the 4th with friends and family and good food! I hope you have good weather for it!

Origninal lawn jarts are the best!!! Your MIL sounds soooo wonderful. Hope you have a great time!

Magikitty - I know you can keep that secret. :hyper: Whenever you feel like telling him, just get on-line and come and tell us again.

Our plans for the weekend will start Thursday night. Giant fireworks display in Milwaukee on the Lake Michigan beach. They are the best fireworks EVER!!! 60 minutes of heart booming, nonstop fireworks. This local company designs their own. Last year they even had some that looked liked hidden Mickeys. ::MickeyMo

Then on Friday we'll watch the local parade and later we are invited to a BBQ at our neighbor's house.

Ipod arrived to day! Now I just have to figure out how to use it!:rotfl: My DH installed iTunes the other day so we would be ready to go when it got here. He's been getting the ipod charged and playing around with playlists. I hope I get a chance to try it out soon! :lmao:

Good one Bopsmom!

M&N, when I went to the next page and saw those big lips puckering at me, I nearly fell out of my chair. I certainly wasn't expecting that. It scared me!

Is that another song? Big kiss, angel....I don't have a guess. You stumped me!

Pikester....you beat me to it. And I felt so smart for finally knowing one of these. :rotfl: Darn slow computer. :badpc:

Oh good one! What about M&N's post? Its driving me crazy!

Here's two for one:
