Haven't been able to get here in a few days... hope all is well, and I'll check back when I can.

Just wanted to say "Hi."

(I'm pages behind again... :bitelip: )

 lighttech!!!

Hey, anybody seen Shmu??? Shmu, Shmu, where are you?!?!

MK, we leave July 26th.

OMG! This is how my daughter greeted me when she came in the door from school today...

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

THAT will teach me to try to sleep in a bit on a school day!! YIKES! Can you tell I did NOT see her before she left? Note the uncombed hair....

Yes, she's 12. Amazing....

Thanks for explaining. I stay with friends so do not get to eat at DW too much. I are in Germany for the Candlelight processional in Dec. I know they got those tickest ahead. We also ate at Rose and Crown(?) in England for lunch but just walked in then. I also ate at 50's Prime Time(?)--where they tell you to keep elbows off the table. Otherwise we go to places where you just walk up and order and find a place to sit. I think I meant that I hear many say they cannot get in to where they want. So can some make ressies more than 180 days away?

According to everything I have found about ADRs, 180 days is the earliest that you can book a ressie. A few restaurants are even less; like only 30 days in advance. Did that answer it?

Maybe that's the style MOM!

whgrn....so funny that you got the outfit in a picture! Her expression is priceless. It'll be blackmail later on! But hey, I have those days when I don't comb my hair either....I'm with DD on that!

whgrn-What's wrong with that pic? I swear I've gone out of the house looking like that before. Though, I would have added a baseball cap to hide the uncombed hair. :rotfl2: Hey at least she only has on one layer of clothes. My DD12 thinks everything has to be layered. And sometimes, she has to change her outfit during the day. Why? Just because her mood has changed from when she got dressed and it doens't "reflect" how she is feeling anymore. :faint:

Whgrn:How did you get her to stand still long enough to snap the pic? At least she's covered up. Wait until she wants to wear less. Remember, it can always be worse! :scared1:

Racetrack: Would doing the laundry help with the 'reflecting'?

Pikester: Thanks for the explaination. Not having to worry about all that is nice but I would like to try some places sometime. Since he works for Disney, they get discounts at some of the places at certain times of the year.

nah, I don't really mind about the laundry. Well, I do but not so much. She actually does alot to help with her younger sisters and she takes up alot of the slack for her older brother. But if she starts changing her clothes more than 2x in a day, then maybe I'll have her do everybody's laundry for a week. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: You guys crack me up!!

Maybe that's the style MOM!

Ummm, I don't think so. Dear God, I HOPE not!!

She asked if she had to smile, and I said no, so... And if I don't remind her repeatedly, the hair doesn't get combed.

Thankfully she thinks the layering trend is totally stupid! And DS is the one who changes clothes repeatedly.

She was happy to do it--she thought she looked fine! (but Mom, they're both blue!):lmao: And she is VERY modest. No short shorts, she wants bermuda length or longer. And being quite chesty, she will not wear anything she thinks is revealing. This is a GOOD thing!

:rotfl: Hey, the laundry might be a good idea!!

ok, since it seems the be picture sharing time, I got one to add. Dsis ( ) called up this morning to see if DD12 wanted to go to Dorney Park today. While they were there, they decided to do the old-time photo.

Drama queens!

Found this---reminded me of the peeps.

I get to get my photo taken for my license this year. I get a hair cut tomorrow so I decided to get it taken then. Don't want to be mistaken for Whgrn's relative. :rotfl2: Of course, in those pics, who can tell?

You couldn't possibly look THAT bad!!:lmao:

I've been trying to get DD to get one of those pics taken with me for years but no way, no how. But Sis picks her up last minute for the park, feeds her ice cream for dinner and looky, looky what she will do. :rotfl2:

M&N-Driver's license photo, I always look like I just had a rat crawl across my foot. :scared1: At this point, I'm just happy my eyes are open and my face isn't frozen in that "mean mom" look. :lmao:

Well, see, THAT's the key! Ice cream for dinner!!:rotfl2:

Off to bed for me...7 am comes WAY to early, and I'm sure as heck not sleeping in tomorrow! (altho I made DD pick her clothes tonite so I could check them, and they are quite nice.):lmao:

What's wrong with ice cream for dinner? Of course it would be better with hot fudge. Next question...will she wear what was picked out tonight?

Ice cream for dinner...I guess that is the key between being the "cool Aunt" and the "mean mom" :rotfl2:

Night whgrn!!!

Oh no, no, no. She doesn't know what kind of mood she will be in tomorrow. She might wake up in a happy mood and want to wear nice bright colors to "reflect" that. Or it might be a dark colors day because her BFF didn't text her 20 times before she got out of bed. :rotfl2: Oh, the drama!!!

Have you noticed how many posts we are up to?

I saw the post count and it is getting up there pretty quick. Before we know it, MagiKitty will have to start another thread.

I doubt you need the beauty sleep. I got to get off too. DH needs the phone line to send in his paperwork. Catch you tomorrow.

Night!!!
