Oh yeah...I was cleaning...![]()
And then when DH comes home and asks what I did all day, I can show him the desk and say I cleaned.
Maybe I should not admit this, but I did not go out of the house today. Didn't even get the mail in. I still have my nightie on. Was just one of those days. I'll have to run the trash out tomorrow morning.
) You are Mom and you will always worry about your babies.
But, I can't help it if I'm a sucker for an accent. Plus, he can cook AND has money. It ain't all that bad of a combo if you think about it...
A few phone calls, some great food left in the fridge for me and a lovely little credit card w/ my name on it!
I didn't say he was anywhere near the top of my list...But, I can't help it if I'm a sucker for an accent. Plus, he can cook AND has money. It ain't all that bad of a combo if you think about it...

If he works as much as I think he does, it could just be a marriage of convenience...A few phone calls, some great food left in the fridge for me and a lovely little credit card w/ my name on it!

Oh, I have been meaning to ask you guys. Do any of you subscribe to the Yahoo group "The Mouse For Less"?
Basically I get emails from people asking questions and answering them similar to the questions on here.
It is really neat I mean where else can you learn that putting a "sticky" over an automatic toilette will stop it from flushing automatically thus not scaring their children?
I personally have never noticed they would scare children, maybe mine are too old and I guess I would have bigger problems if my 17YO were scared of a self flushing toilette.![]()
Now that I have had to deal with it, I understand the fear. Imagine being small enough that you have to balance yourself on the seat and right when you are in the "middle of your business", the darn thing flushes and flushes loudly.
I'd be scared too if I had never had that happen before.Oh, I have been meaning to ask you guys. Do any of you subscribe to the Yahoo group "The Mouse For Less"?

Hello friends! Have to go back and catch up, but I hope everyone had a safe and wonderful holiday weekend. I sure did! I finally got the guys at the train station on Friday and we met Mom at the outlets for a full day of shopping!
I'm fairly close to the outlets, and I've never seen it so busy! There were lots of sidewalk sales and we had a really good time. We went to the raceway to see the fireworks and although we had seats in the grandstand, you really couldn't see very much...but after a full day of shopping, we were too lazy to get up really! So we watched the guys who light the fireworks (no high tech here! and afterward we went downstairs for midnight breakfast brunch---which was really good and only $5! Following that, we hit the slots and there was a good band, so we joined a family reunion and danced into the wee hours of the morning!
We got up kinda late on Saturday and drove over the mountain to Kingston to make our pilgrimage to the Tonner Doll Store. We spent three hours in there looking at dolls and talking with the fantastic manager--Dr. Noreen. She's a doll doctor, a "plastic surgeon"! How funny. I wasn't planning on getting anything, but they had the last Scarlett O'Hara in the window, dressed in the opening picnic dress and I had to have her!
We ended the evening with a late show of Wall-E and it was so cute and such a good movie--I recommend it highly! And of course, we had to feed again, so we once again had a midnight breakfast, only this time at the diner.
Yesterday we got up late and literally sped to the train station. I kicked Alan out of the car to get tickets while Quincy and I unloaded the car. The train was there before we got all the bags out! Just in time.
Anyway, I have some pics too! The first is from this weekend at the doll shop, the others are of the wedding and my best girlfriends. I'm obviously the one in all the common pics. And you get to see my big hair! Ok, now I'll go back and see what all my TKers have been up to in my absence....OMG, how did I miss this post!! It looks like you all had a great time. Loved the pic with the city in the background. I have never been, I want to go someday. My office mate is from NYC and she said she could show me around some day. I just might take her up on it.
You guys looked Awesome!!!!!

Never heard about it. So it's just done through emails? Others cannot see the answers? (I think you just used that example so you could use a toilet smilie.) Let me know how I can work the flasher into the thread.![]()
