Hey everyone! Quite chatty yesterday, weren't we? Sorry I missed out on it! I was so hyped up right before the server went down and I was wondering what the outcome was. I THINK its going a little faster, I'll have to tool around on the Dis today to make a more valid assessment.

NY here, and it will forever be Great Adventure. But then again, the Six Flags over American in Illinois was also "Great Adventure" and so was Six Flags over Georgia. Everything seems to be Great Adventure to me.

I have to say this thread is going to be my downfall! I've never had split pea soup but will all the raves I'm going to have to try it! And I never learned to ride a bike, hazard of living on the top of a hill, but now I want a cute pink bike too!

SCOTLAND :scared1: One of my best girlfriends is actually going to school in Edinburgh and I've been wanting to figure out how to do a budget friendly trip sometime this year. All this talk makes me wonder how that could be done. And since everyone else has seemed to have gone, I have trip envy and want to go too!

Cruises and APs...I want to do this too! I didn't get the 5x points thing either, but I JUST got the card and have only used it once so I doubt I'll be eligible for this offer. Truth is, I don't have the funds for both a trip to Scotland, a cruise, AND a trip to WDW, so I'll have to make some tough decisions in the new year.

Spend the day last minute running around and today I have a fun-filled plan of cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. Ugh. I'll be avoiding all that stuff by chatting on here!

Talk to everyone!

Meant to mention this in my last post. at we do for our kids.

For the night I Hope!:hippie: not forever.

whgrn-ooh, scotland and a new car. And to think you have to suffer through planning that trip.:lmao: Seriously, hope you have a great time planning what sounds like a wonderful vacation.

Bopsmom-that bike is so awesome.

disney54us-I noticed about the boards too. Thought it was just my computer since it has a mind of it's own. And it sure as heck does not like to co-operate with me most days. Glad I'm not the only one who noticed

Off for now, trying to cook dinner and dis at the same time just isn't working.

:thumbsup2 It's not your computer, but hey I have one that has a mind of it own, or maybe it is, it has a mind and I don't:rotfl2:

:yay: :cool1:congrats from me too
DM Loves Scotland and goes with her friends often-notice she hasn't taken me:rolleyes: I will have to hold WDWChristmas '08 trip over her head till she agrees to take me along on her next trip. Can't wait to hear details !
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: me too!!

Thanks Dreamin' in PA it is soo comfortable to ride. Funny how I reverted to a Coaster Bike after all these years. :rotfl: I have a (some outrageous speed) bike hanging in the garage and quit riding because leaning over and looking up gave me terrible neck pain. I guess everything comes full circle.
Actually, I wanted to get a pink Schwinn Stingray with the sissy bar and a white with flowers banana seat. No kidding, they still make them. It would embarass DD to no end!:lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl:

TGM stands for TourGuideMike. I subscribed to www.TourGuideMike.com to plan our trip. He is a sponser on the Travel/Planning Board. I used him years ago, and since I am "responsible" for another family's first trip to WDW I decided to check out his advice. My only concern is that so many people use him that maybe his "hints" are becoming too well known-thus negating the advantage. I guess we'll see.

Thanks, for the info, have to check it out!

a quick note to say i will definitely share the split pea recipe. it's soooo good you should all try it! do you think i should pm it to those who want it?

also, whgrn, i'm equally jealous. we went to ireland with another couple the summer after we were married. it was the BEST trip ever! i don't feel bad saying that, because for me disney is a different kind of trip! so disney is the best trip ever of its kind, and ireland the best of its kind!! i've never seen such a beautiful place, it was almost too much beauty!!

by the way, i'm from long island and we will forever call it great adventure!!

more later, i know there's more i wanted to say!

also no notifications for me either  hopefully they'll fix it. i wonder if we have to subscribe again.

Always, Great Adventure that's what we all still call it!

Good grief! I've been trying to reply for about 10 min now. When I clicked reply it took forever and then told me the server was too busy, so I had to start all over. Is it the boards or my gramps computer? No notifications here either.

Anyway, now I can't remember what all I wanted to say.:headache:

whgrn - Count me in as one of the jealous ones. I so want to go to Scotland and Ireland. I hope you have a great time. I got Rhett Butler's People for Christmas and can't wait to read it. DS is named Rhett. My brother gave me a framed picture of Rhett and Scarlett for Christmas. Congrats also on the car. "Dip me in butter and call me a biscuit"? Are you sure you're not a Southerner?

disney54us & praise2Him - Thanks for the advice. We're going in Feb :woohoo: and plan to go back in Dec, so I need to go ahead and do it if I'm going to do it in advance. Got my notice about 5 x points in the mail yesterday.

I know there was more but I can't remember now.

Okay, next question. Has anyone ever celebrated a birthday at WDW? My Daddy will be turning 68 when we're there in Feb. I would like to embarrass, um I mean honor him as much as possible while we're there. I know about the "It's my birthday" buttons and the cakes you can order. Planning on doing those. Is there anything else?

Have a great night everyone!

Have arrived at Dis on my B-day one year, I think that it pretty much is the same as everyone has said. When you make you ressie., mention that you are celbrating DD's b-day, when you check in mention again and for Dinner do the same. I'm sure he'll get so added attention:thumbsup2.

Cleaning, sounds like fun:laughing:. Just think, after all that you have your own 'great adventure' to look forward too!:goodvibes.

Who asked about cruises in Dec?? Never went then, but did take one that departed Feb. 2. so any help I can be ask away.

I just have to let you all know I really am a Thread Killer, I will give the story, later (need to get through my embarrassment:rotfl:). I'm telling you, it's true.

"Dip me in butter and call me a biscuit" I love it! Going to have to use that one. I say peachy keen often and people look at me, like okay your in the North or they will say gee that's a old saying.

I have a
"Great Adventure" for us all to do.
Let's all hop on a pink bike,
Fill our backpacks with pea soup,
And bike ride on the hills of Scotland?
We can use our Visa's with 5 X's the points for anything we forget.:lmao:

Good morning everyone.:hippie:
Well gotta do this:laundy:
But would rather do this:surfweb:

Might have to use this one too.:lmao: I say peachy keen too.:thumbsup2 But I am in the South. We do have our own language sometimes.:rotfl:

:cool1: Sounds like a plan!!!!:thumbsup2
I may be from the North, but I guess it's my inner Southern coming out in me:laughing:, after all I do subscribe to Southern Living!! So I pretend. Love my Hydranga's (however you spell that)!

Okay, here's my story>>>> Been making my Thanksgiving ressies day by day (DVC member, only way to make sure you get your dates). Now we have never gone for T-day and have discussed T-day dinner, since we are staying in a DVC resort we will have full kitchen and living room. DS's wants home cooked T-day dinner. Which, I think would be cool, Turkey in the oven, lounge a little a the pool:thumbsup2. I was on the DVC boards, and there are people who do T-day every year. Someone had posted that they were new DVC members and just started making there T-day ressies. Being the nice:goodvibes, person and not wanting anyone to suffer the feeling of being a Tk (like us:rotfl2:), I posted and said how we to have started making our ressies, and it will be the first time we will be there for T-day. Anyway, others welcomed the poster and I put it out there, that since it's our first time going for T-day and others go every year Do people, go out to dinner? if so where?, do people stay in there 'home' and cook? If so, do they use one of the grocery delivery services or go off site and shop. Nadda, nothing:sad1:, not one reply!!!:confused3 It's not the first time this has happened and the thing is especially prior to Thanksgiving this year so many people were talking about there upcoming trips and plans. I never get a reply:scared:. I not crazy about the DVC boards, to be quite honest, sometime they get a little:rolleyes:, but there is some good info at times. I guess except for me:confused:, and wanting to know about Thanksgiving. So there's my story, you see I am a TK!!

Afternoon everyone. It always will be Great Adventure to me too. Years ago, we used to go for family picnics out there. It was a blast but that was before it turned into a thrill park. Haven't been for a couple of years now. I thought the park was going down hill and it wasn't too much of a family park anymore. I saw they made some changes to it lately so maybe we will venture out there again.

Now Hershey, we go almost every year. Any park that gives you a free peice of chocolate is pretty good in my book. And since DD6 doesn't care for candy, I get hers too. :woohoo:

And for SIL, I am not even going to mention the vacation to her anymore. It is a closed subject with her as far as I'm concerned. Maybe one year when he's older, I'll take my nephew with us because he's a great kid away from his mom. And I really would like to share that with him.

disney54us-:grouphug: :grouphug: I know the feeling exactly. We are going for Thanksgiving too. We are not DVC members though so cooking is out of the question for us. We have to go out somewhere for dinner. And for me, I just wouldn't want to cook. I do it all year and part of my vacation is NO COOKING.:goodvibes But whatevery you decide, you will be in Disney for Thanksgiving, It doesn't get much better than that.:yay:

no i'm not getting any notifications either. but i really don't need them for this thread, cause i KNOW there's always something!!

too bad i don't have any info for you on the thanksgiving stuff. i really wish wish wish we could do DVC. but i guess i'd have to go back to work for that!! i think i'll go try to find your thread and bump you!
we all love you over here!:grouphug:

DD11 on It's A Small World. Can't you just imagine the pure joy and complete excitement on her face. :rotfl: She does have a very good reason to riding though....WE MAKE HER!!!

Have a great day everyone.

I just checked my subscriptions and they're all there, but I'm not getting any notifications either. Hope they fix that real soon.

Congrats on the new car, weight loss, and trip to Scotland! :woohoo: We went to Ireland in 2004, and it was not as much fun to plan as a trip to Disney! No friendly message boards, for one thing. I had to rely mostly on books and a travel agent who was horrible (never again!) The trip itself was awesome, however!

We did the Disney cruise in early January 2005 (cheapest time). It was fun, but the water was cold for swimming (to me), but then I hate cold water and won't even get in our pool until about July.

I've never heard of that book, but I love GWTW, so I'll have to see if the library has it. Who is the author? Have you read "Scarlett" (sequel to GWTW)? I've got it, but have never read it. I think I'm afraid I'll be disappointed..

My subscriptions are all there too--just not getting any notifications. Weird. Hope they fix it soon!

All details of the Scotland trip and associated excitement will follow after I answer all these posts!!

I guess a Christmas cruise is out then--I too HATE cold water! I like it about 85 or more! Give me a bathtub...

Yes, I read "Scarlett" as soon as it came out, and loved it. OK, it wasn't GWTW, but it WAS good! The author of this new one is Donald McCaig. I got it at Barnes and Noble.

whgrn - Count me in as one of the jealous ones.

Nope! NJ born and bred. A true Jersey Girl!! But I read that somewhere and just loved it, so now I say it too. Too cool that DS is named Rhett!

magsnden-since you and whgrn are pretty local to me, everytime I see "great adventure", it means the amusement park. Is that what you meant, if you don't mind telling.

Bobsmom-embarassing my kids....now that's what I live for. DD11 gets it the worse but that's only because she thinks parents are the most uncool thing in the world. I told her when we go on vacation next year, I WILL buy the big Goofy hat to wear along with all my clothes that are "so out of style" and ride It's a Small World singing the words to her.:rotfl: Ok, maybe I won't sing and spare everyone else.

And for all those who followed the adventure of my Christmas with SIL. She finally called me today. She believes she has no reason to apologize because she "doesn't remember the fight". Out of all the drama that went on, that certainly takes the cake. :sad2:  I truly feel sorry for her. And I only hope one day she can open her eyes and grow up a little.

Yup, Great Adventure is what the unknowing around here (and out of towners) call "Six Flags". Last summer, my neice was at camp and they took a trip to "Six Flags". Now, for years she's heard DSis and I talk about Great Adventure, and always wanted to go. She had NO idea what "Six Flags" was, but she was going anyway. She was delighted to find out that they were one and the same, and had a great time!!:rotfl:

dreamininpa, you are my HERO! I LOVE to embarrass my kids! I once took my DDs glasses to her at tutoring, after she "forgot" them once too often, in my nice flannel plaid PJs! She about died. I thought it was great fun!!

As far as SIL goes, give me a break! She "doesn't remember the fight"??? Yeah, right! I feel bad for your poor DBro!

I have a
"Great Adventure" for us all to do.
Let's all hop on a pink bike,

But would rather do this:surfweb:

Shmu you are a riot! I WISH I could hop on a pink bike! Alas, my arthritic knees will not bend far enough to ride a bike of ANY color (or style). You'd have to put me in one of those little kiddie carrier things that is pulled by the bike! (OK, maybe a BIG kiddie carrier thing...) But the rest of it sounds great!! Count me in.:lmao:

Now Hershey, we go almost every year. Any park that gives you a free peice of chocolate is pretty good in my book. And since DD6 doesn't care for candy, I get hers too. :woohoo: .

Hershey RULES!!! The first time I went, a long, long, long time ago, the "factory tour" really WAS a factory tour!! I remember my mom saying that if she knew she was gonna die, she'd come back there and drown herself in a vat of Hershey's chocolate! We've been several times since they put up the "Chocolate World"--its not nearly as good, but still fun. I just love the SMELL!! And hey, free chocolate is a GOOD thing!!!

I would think that TG in Disney would be fun, altho VERY crowded. And dinner? Where else but Liberty Tree Tavern?? After all, the meal they serve is basically TG dinner anytime you go!

OK, done with all my responses! Whew!

OK, so here's how it all went down.

Thursday before Christmas I got a mailing from AMEX about travel services. I was casually browsing through it when I saw a trip to Scotland mentioned. Now, I have dreamed of going to Scotland for like 25 years! As the trip involved a train, and DDad is a train fanatic, I called him and said lets go, just you and me! Well, DMom, who refuses to even consider flying across the ocean, decided that she just had to go too, so we then invited DSis to join us.

So here's our plan:
Mom, Dad and I fly to London on the 9th of August. We stay that night in London, and on the 10th we take a train up to Edinburgh, where we meet up with DSis (she lives in Turkey, so she will fly directly to Edinburgh). We will go out for dinner so we can have Haggis, tatties and neeps. Haggis is the national dish of Scotland. It's a mix of sheeps organs, suet, spices and oatmeal. Sounds gross, right? Well, it's alot like Scrapple, for those of you who know of such things. And we all LOVE Scrapple!! DDad has been to Scotland before, and he loves Haggis, so he will order it and we will all try some. Tatties and neeps are potatoes and turnips, which are traditionally served with Haggis. Yumm, I'm salivating just thinking about it!! But I digress...

We will stay the night of the 10th in Edinburgh, and the next AM do a little bit of touring. By noon we must be at the train station to board the Royal Scotsman. This is a fancy schmancy train (think The Orient Express) that goes all through the Highlands for a week. We stop at some really cool places, and get to do all sorts of fun and traditional things.

At the end of the week, we get off the train, and get on another train that will take us to Glasgow and then down to Dumfires. We will spend 2 nights sleeping in a castle (!!!!) outside of Dumfries, and those days we will tour the area of Dumfries and Galloway. The Royal Burgh of Annan, where my ancestors are from, is sort of a depressed manufacturing town, from what we can see, and there's nowhere to stay there, so we will be at the castle, 7 miles outside of town. The really cool thing, other than sleeping in a castle and seeing our "home town" is that I will get to visit a bunch of places I've actually read about. (I love historical fiction, and if it's about Scotland, even better, so I've read ALOT about both the Highlands and the Lowlands.)

Anyway, after our 2 nights in the castle, we will take the train back down to London and fly home. Oh, and did I mention that on formal nights on the train (4 of the 7 nights) most of the men (DDad included!) wear KILTS?!?!?! I am in my glory! I LOVE men in kilts!! So ruggedly masculine! Must be my Scottish heritage!

So this trip is really a dream come true for me. Never pictured it being by train, but I don't care--at least I get to see all the things I want to see! And I'll be with my family. And I'll have NO KIDS to worry about! I can't imagine packing for just me, not having to deal with fighting kids, not having to carry 3 sets of documents. It's all about ME! I am just toooooo excited! I'm going to SCOTLAND!!!!!!!!!

That enough details for y'all?!?:rotfl:

I guess except for me:confused:, and wanting to know about Thanksgiving. So there's my story, you see I am a TK!!

We went in 2003 during Thanksgiving but weren't DVC yet. We loved Liberty Tree Tavern!:thumbsup2 You know, if it was me I would have Thanksgiving dinner delivered-cooked from a local grocery. Best of both worlds:goodvibes

Never fear whgrn!
you can ride this and still join us.:cool1:

It's an electric tricycle!:thumbsup2

Magikitty, if you don't want training wheels, you could opt out for one too.

Heck, this may be my next one too! Painted pink, of course with streamers on the handlebars! I may copy my friends, "Cosmopolitian" bike and add the black diamonds and cocktail glasses on the finders. STG, her bike is painted that way!

Since you guys have been so wonderful listening to me vent, I thought I would share a little something with you.

I wouldn't mind doing the cooking, I love Thanksgiving:yay:, years ago when we first joined, you use to be able to order a full Thanksgiving dinner from Olivia's and the would deliver it and come back later to take all the dirty dishes and platters. I wish they still did that:goodvibes.

Thanks for the:grouphug:, we joined many years ago (10), we were on our 2nd trip when we did and they gave credits towards your down payment for each day you were staying a a WDW resort. So, I think for our first contract we had to put about $450 (went on credit card:laughing: ) and w/credits for staying there we had our down payment. They finance, so it's a monthly payment which wasn't to bad. So if you have questions, just ask. Sometimes it's more doable then people think. Especially us Dis nuts that make so many trips:rotfl2:

I would think that TG in Disney would be fun, altho VERY crowded. And dinner? Where else but Liberty Tree Tavern?? After all, the meal they serve is basically TG dinner anytime you go!

OK, done with all my responses! Whew!

whgrn- Wow, what a trip!!! Sounds great, I think the train ala Orient Express will be great. Just, like out of one of those old glamourous movies:cloud9:. We, went to Hersey once. Don't even want to go there, with that trip story. One day on a slow post day I tell how the shouldn't have been more then 2hr trip turned into a 7 1/2 hr trip:rotfl2:.
T-day will be crowded and I usually go in after the crowds leave (following week). But, I figure I'll enjoy the pool and stuff like that stay away from the parks (except I will get up early and try to see the parade). Then we are staying into the next week so that's when will do the park stuff.

Pa. love the DS pic. Anyone who has a tween/teen have you seen the comercial for (I think it's a cruise line) and it opens w/ 'We were in search for something we heard still existed, and it goes on like that and then it shows a teen girl on a wave runner and the mom says there it is!! (the daughter has a smile on her face:cheer2:) and so quick it's gone!! It is the funniest and I think anyone who has kids that age can relate!!

Cruises, We were fine with the weather balmy tropic's type weather and warm pools! They're heated. A little breezy at night but that's the ocean air.
That was early Feb.

I didn't post yesterday because it was much slower than before. Today it seems fine. :)
whgrn how exciting to go to Scotland! Touring by train sounds great, you won't have to drive on the "wrong" side of the street. :lmao: My DH went to Scotland with his parents. He played golf the whole time. He wants to go again so I'll probably have to tour the castles alone. :rotfl: I also will be carrying all our documents.
dreamin in pa loved the picture of your DD. :thumbsup2 I think quite a few people end up looking like that by the end of the ride.
I used to live about an hour from Six Flags Magic Mt. We would go once in a while. During the summer the LA gangs would show up and cause trouble. I believe they are trying to sell it.

Okay they def. need to tweek this upgrade. just posted for this thread (of course) and it was taking forever and finally it came back server unavailable or busy try again later:scared:.Funny thing, I have msn for email and they just 'upgraded' to windows live and I've had problems ever since:mad:.

So let me try again! Came on to see if anyone had posted since we're not getting notifications yet. DreaminPa I started:rotfl2: :rotfl:, seeing the pic again of DD:rotfl:, if she knew, mom put her picture up she would be mortified:scared1: I hope you have a really super secret password and she never gets a look at the boards:rotfl2:.
Magikitty, well I guess the big trip is just about here. Wishing you a wonderful safe trip! We will miss you, but I could see all of us getting up one morning and signing on and seeing you posted what would be 3am our time:rotfl2:. No fooling us if there's a way, we'll be hearing from:goodvibes.

Want to say, see why I love this thread and you guys:love:, already getting T-day dinner suggestions!!! Thanks!
Okay, lets see when I click if I can post:confused3

Thanks for the details, and the mental image of a trainload of men in kilts!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :cool1: Remind DDad to "cross at the ankles":lmao:
A trip with no kids!

Shmu:thumbsup2 :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
We don't want to leave anyone out!

:rotfl: Dad has made it abundantly clear that he will NOT be traditional in that matter. He WILL wear "something" beneath his kilt. I said, "and you call yourself a Scot?!?" His reply? "No, I call myself an American". Geeze, he's so darn literal!

Now that electric trike is COOL!!! Why the pedals tho, if it's electric? Do you still have to make them go around (I can't do that). I would SO get one of those to be able to go riding with my kids! Of course, can't you just see them if I showed up on a tricycle?!?:rotfl2: Guess not. Maybe in a few years when I'm old enough for the senior living in Florida...:lmao: I did try a semi-recumbent trike several years ago, but even that took too much bend. I have less than 90% in one knee, and just barely about 90% in the "good" one. Ahh, well, what are ya gonna do.

I did mention weight loss and walking. OK, no congrats yet. I have to actually DO those things!! I just decided that, if I'm gonna be around hot guys in kilts, I should be as hot as possible! Yeah, like THAT's gonna happen anytime....I'm an overweight, middle aged single mom with arthritis. How "hot" can that be?? In any event, I really would like to lose 70# by August, and if that's too much, then at least 50. And my walking goal is at least 2 miles a day on a regular basis so I'm "trained" for all that walking in Scotland. I'll be starting at the gym Wednesday morning--treadmill and eliptical trainer, here I come! Just add a little more each day until I'm up to the 2 miles a day, at least 5 days a week. Once the weather gets warmer, I'll switch to walking around my neighborhood. The dog will appreciate the fun of "walking me"!

I hope they fix these notification issues soon. It's a drag to have to go into my subscriptions and check to see if any new posts have come through. I never have to check TK though. There's ALWAYS a new post here!;)

Kids are with their father today, thank goodness. I was up most of the night running back and forth to the bathroom. Ended up sleeping until after 11 this morning! (when my kids brought me breakfast in bed--how sweet!) Needless to say we missed church. They left about noon, and by 3 I was tired and went and got in my bed, which I NEVER do during the day. I slept until the phone woke me a little after 5, then just lay in bed until 6. I ate a VERY light dinner and am now feeling very queasy again. Yuck. I can handle anything except nausea.:sad1: The weird thing is, I'll probably sleep like a baby tonite. I know I'm very anemic right now, but that's not unusual for me, and I can't ever remember being this exhausted. If I didn't know better, I'd wonder if I had mono or something! (but I have NO other symptoms, so it's highly unlikely, plus I've not kissed anyone in a long, long, long time...:rolleyes1 )

Wow, I am Sooooo behind!!! I was not able to log on for most of the day yesterday and finally gave up. I figured with the new server the Dis will probably be up and down a couple of days. It happened at my work too when we switched.

Anyway....Helllpppppp!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Has Magikitty left yet?

Who is the lucky one going to Scotland? I missed that!

Bop, your Mom sounds way fun!!!

Whgrn- So does your Dad and the kilt thing (need to go back and read the rest of the post still haha) Wait! Are you the one going to Scotland?

Everyone else hi!!!

:lmao: He's just shy, bless his heart!

I don't know why the pedals are there, maybe to rest your feet upon.:) Is it your knees? DH has knee trouble and is in line for a replacement. Ha, retire-Never! Unless DVC lets us bank enough points for retirement. My DM had knee replacement, she recoop'd at my house. I brought her Mini Cooper over and said, "OK girl, if you can't bend down low enough to get in it and aren't stong enough to push the clutch, this car is mine". Amazing how fast that old girl got into shape. Her doctor was so proud of me:laughing:

No, you haven't mentioned this. YOU GO GIRL:cool1::yay: You can be as hot as you feel. Actually, if you feel hot, you will be considered hot-Attitude is Everything!!!! Curvy girls have a lot going for them! Get you some cute sweaters-not the bulky kind, but the soft, low-v'd kind, you might be surprised the attention you'll get!;) ;)

You take care of yourself!! I hope you feel better soon.

disney54us-I haven't quite decided about T-day dinner yet. I have been leaning towards Trail's End at Fort Wilderness. From what I've read, they serve a traditional dinner along with the picnic foods they serve the rest of the year. My dad is very picky and I need to keep it as simple as possible. I also figure after dinner, we could hang around and do the campfire movie thing they have.

whgrn-that trip sounds wonderful. I have eaten scrapple, even like it, but don't know if I can wrap my mind around what is in haggis. You try it and let us all know how it is. :goodvibes We have a Celtic Festival here each year around my birthday. Nothing like spending my birthday looking at a bunch of men in kilts. Hope you feel better soon.

I love that electric bike. DH is always saying we should all get bikes and go riding. Now if he gets me one of those, I just might agree. I can make DH happy and still embarass my kids. :rotfl:

You know what is better than scrapple? Believe it or not Liver Mush!!! I thought I would hate it the first time my DH's relatives from NC had me try it, but it is really good. lol.
