hello thread killers...i have been trying to resurrect a thread that is on life support. i thought it was a good thread....a survey on if you have a artificial christmas tree or a live tree.....anyway....i am going to bump it one more time. i might be the thread killer. just dont seem right to kill a chistmas tree thread in november

I'm on that thread and saw it was posted again. I don't think I was the last one but thanks for your work...not only in saving threads but in saving trees to. A thread killer's work never ends! (sounds like a good tag to me!)

Hello and Good Evening to everybody else. I don't have a whole lot to say. Just wanted to stop in for a visit.

Just checking in to catch up from yesterday and say "Good Morning!"

We got rain here last night, so I'm thankful for that. Today it's finally getting chilly - 49 degrees right now. Yesterday it was in the 60's. I'm still not sure what clothes to pack for our trip - I guess layers?

Now I'm going to check out the pre-trip report! I've never done one and rarely read them, but maybe I'll get inspired.

It's dreary and damp here this morning. I'm on my way to Gettysburg with a retired friend and my 2 library aides-I still call them mine even though I just retired. One was with me 20 yrs and the other 10 but more importantly, great friends. The poor teachers in my district have parent conferences and they have to explain the new report cards that they hate. Teachers cannot even grade like they want. I'm anxious to hear what the parents say...no letter or numbering system. Anyway---Boyds Bears here we come!

Just checking in on my favorite thread. Got the kids off to school and the dogs walked - now doing laundry - ugh!

It is cool and very overcast here in AZ this a.m. My 9 yo ds was funny this morning on the way out to the car. "Wow, Mom, look at the sky - you can't see it." Now for those living everywhere else but AZ, that is a rare sight for a 9 yo to see. He was amazed all the way to school. We haven't had rain in so very long and I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for the bump. That was the thread I had started and I would have felt bad if it died too soon. I may have fallen off the wagon if not for you. Thanks!

Good evening everyone!
Just wanted to thank everyone for the well wishes of sleep, another successful night, and i'm sure you're all responsible! Both kids still sick, but seem a tiny bit better - it's been over a week, uuggh!

So i've been busy all day packing! we're actually shipping our luggage down tomorrow, so we'll have less to lug around. has anyone ever done this before? this is our first time, but my sister-in-law suggested it so we're giving it a try. we were planning to bring my son's carseat and rent one for my daughter, but it was like $50 or $60 with tax. so now, we're bringing both and that will pay to send the luggage. sound crazy??!
the real problem is that i have to be packed more than a week early, and my dryer is broken to boot! the good news is that after tonight (tomorrow morning, who am i kidding?) i'll have a lot more time to devote to this thread!

No problem. In fact there is a thing you can do on WDWinfo.com called a Priorty Seating Planning Report where you punch in the days you want to eat there and they'll give you a "report" on when the exact first day you can call in for your time. It's very handy.

Magsnden---Sounds like a good idea to send stuff early. Does this mean you will ship it back home too? Then you won't have all that laundry to do as soon as you get back! That's always a letdown.

yes, i think we will ship it back. it seems like a good idea - we'll see how it goes. i'm a little worried about it getting there and everything, you know? i think on the way back we probably could take it with us. i read in another thread that you can ship it back right from the hotel, so that would make it easier than going to a fed ex place. i really don't know what to do!!

and look, it's 10:45 and i finished me and both kids. no more packing!!!! now i'll spend the night awake thinking of things i forgot!

Shmu---when you do your next installment, do you just make a post on the same thread? How do we know when to check?

It'll be on the same thread. If you subscribed it'll come up. I guess it still comes up on the chat too. I have seen other reports have an index in the front so you can just hit the link and go to the posts and skip the chat stuff it you want to. I will try to learn how to do that when I have a few more posts. I'll do my next post this weekend probably. Working on it in Word right now. If nothing else, it is keeping me organized and disciplined. Something I desperately need in my life.
