Just stopping in to say good morning to everyone. Do I need permission to add the threadkiller sign to my signature? I will add it right next to the NOT BUDGING scale.

When I upload them to Photobucket, I use the edit... They have a button that says Resize, just hit that one and use the one for boards!

Read the 1st 8 pages of this thread this am and couldn't wait to read the rest before I confess.

Not only am I a thread killer but I'm a swap killer also. I booked a kinda last minute trip to POP and found the fridge swaps on the budget board. And lo and behold I found a fridge, coffeepot and toaster for just $10.00 for the entire week. My dates were free and so I jumped right in and sent in my money and then the person who was to have the fridge before me said they weren't going to need it. So there was a whole month free before me. I kept bumping the thread up so people would see it and trying to get people to jump on this swap. And three, maybe four people tried to pm the swap originator to get on in on the swap and they didn't get any replies.

Now the person who just had the frig hasn't even replied to my pm and the person who originated the thread won't response to me or anyone else.

So, I'm a swap killer. Sad, isn't it?

This thread is just the thing I needed to perk me up. I'm going back to read all the remaining posts and then I'm going to look for some 0 reply threads and get going on those.

Okay, I searched and found about the appliance swaps on the budget board. What a unique and wonderful idea!! So many great ideas on these boards! That is why I joined.

I joined so I can research my trip. I have yet to even enter the boards I am interested in. Just trying to wet my feet in a friendly board before jumping right into the other ones. I have so much to learn and 'thread killers' has been awesome.

For those that are interested....in Swaps. Go to the Budget Board and check out the sticky thread at the top Entitled "Everything you always wanted to know about Fridge Swaps" or something to that effect. Then search thru the swap threads for your resort and your dates!

Praise2Him, I see you're going to WDW in just a few days. The first two weeks of December is my family's favorite time. We've been lucky enough to do it twice. DW does get a little stressed about getting a tree up when we get home. How do you handle it all when you get home? Or, are you staying through Christmas?

Well, we're crazy and we always put our trees and decorations up the weekend of Veteran's Day (which would be today), but this year we're painting a bedroom and bathroom, so we're having to wait until next week.

"Or, are you staying through Christmas?" I wish! Unfortunately, no, only a week.

Oh, my DH is SO excited that the radio is playing Christmas music, he can hardly stand it! Did I mention that we love Christmas?

Okay, now I'm jealous of all of you who are going between now and Christmas. I loooooooove being there in early Dec.

At first I thought they were advocating eating on paper plates this year.

Then I ventured over to the "Looking for a good Mixer" thread and thought they were talking about drinks.

I'm so literal. I got my sense of humor from watching The Muppet Show too often.
