Can any one help me?

I am trying to figute out how to find the threads someone has posted. When I click on the name and click to view posts, a search comes up. I fill in the users name and....NOTHING. Every time. What an I doing wrong?

After I figure that our...maybe I can figure out a siggie!!

I started a thread about this yesterday - last time i checked 55 views, 2 replies, no answers! i don't know how to put that thread in this post but if you search under "how do you search for a user" you should find it.

I cannot claim that I figured the siggy's out. There's another thread on this board called How Can I Get Gobbled? and it was explained to right click on someone else's turkey, copy and paste in the edit signature and add

to the back. That make sense? Its explained better over there....for me, I found cut and paste to work much better.

I like the little pickle man. He dances just for me. I remember they sell Pickle decorations at Germany in Epcot as a symbol of holiday tradition. I'm not going to EPCOT this year, so I'll have to settle for the dancing pickle siggy!

I had posted originally on the CB and got a great response there so I think a lot of people saw that post. I really appreciate all the interest though. His scrapbook is growing quickly!

here is the OP:

Would anyone be interested in helping my little buddy Luke? I am starting a postcard rally for him.

I would like to get as many postcards sent to him as possible. He is feeling pretty miserable up there at the hospital and I think pictures of cool places and things would help to brighten his day! If you want to write a note on it that would be great too. I would love to just cover his walls with postards. He loves the normal 4 year old boy stuff especially the movie Cars and Thomas. He loves Frogs too.

Our son was born in Jan 07 and going on his first trip in Feb 08 and probably his second trip in Dec 08. Hope you're feeling OK as you get closer to the time for him to arrive.

I would not take no response to mean no one is reading or paying attention. Like the postcard thing, the OP said please PM me and I will give you the address. I bet more people PM'ed her, but never posted that they did, because, well, why would you post that you PM'ed someone? They know, they got the PM!!!!

I have to adopt a 'serenity now' pose around here, because when people don't respond to things you say, it is too easy to internalize. For example, I posted a picture of kids in a dog cage. In a dog cage, I tell you. I got one, hey your son is cute, but I was expecting a barrage of how could you let your kid play in a cage, even though the cage was taller than he was at the time!!!!

I would be happy to pass along my gobble PM to anyone who wants it. It does make you feel a little bit like one of the cool kids to have it.

I started out by welcoming newbies to the boards or saying something positive after they posted 75 to get ears.
Don't put yourself down...you've got tons to talk about...now that you know someone is listening!

You have to have the complete address of the image, then go into your User CP in the top left corner of the dark blue bar above. Go into the section that allows you to edit signature. Click on the image you want to post and make sure you get the entire address (usually right click the image and then click copy ) Then come back to your signature and right click where you want to insert it and click on paste.

I've also noticed that PREVIEW the image first helps sometimes. But yes when I first was on I couldn't do certain things till later. You can check the bottom of you Signature page and look for the Signiture Permission stuff.

Course I can't get mine to work right now!

I am having to remember myself though
Go to User CP and scroll down to edit options and click on that. Then scroll to the bottom for miscellaneous options and look for forum skin. The click on the drop down arrow and click on California Gold and apply that look. Then try you thread search. I don't know WHY you have to be in that format, but it works

See, I've heard this before about the California Gold, and I tried it, but it didn't work for me. I wonder if I'm still doing something wrong?
