no time for a real post, but just wanted to say

Congratulations on the multiquote, Disney54us!!!!!

(notice the lime green!!:rotfl: )

OK,so explain it to me like I'm a 2 year old (a 3 year old would be able to figure it out!)--HOW do I multi-quote?????:confused3

Finally had time to catch up on this thread.
Wow a lot going on.
Welcome newbies.
Looking forward to those TR from the ones that just returned from WDW.
LOVE the wreath.

A little chilly this morning in the South. Of course anything below 75 degrees starts to make me cold. You would think I would have enough "insulation" on my middle aged body, but no, I get cold. By the way I have lost 10 lbs.:cool1: I have a goal I am trying to make in a year. I'll write more about that in my PTR. Well, would love to stay and chat but I need to take DD to her classes and then I'm off to excercise.:yay: (That smiley is about what I look like when I do a jump n jack.) :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: Thats for the weather comment. Love it! It's so true I love when we go to dis in early Dec and it might be slightly cool (I mean, a sweatshirt works for us!) and we see the CM's in Epcot w/wool pea jackets and gloves:rotfl:

Hello dear friends! Still cold and snowy here, but as long as I'm not venturing outside anytime soon, I don't mind the weather. Its appropriate for the holidays.

Thank you everyone for the support on the wreath! I am rather proud of myself. (BTW, Bopsmom, you could donate to me--I"m B+). The real test was my mother, who's very particular (opinionated) about everything. She saw my wreath and asked where it came from. I said that I made it and she was quite impressed! Its been moved to the outside front door, and while I think it looks adorable, now I'm paranoid that someone is going to take it!

Don't worry about someone stealing it, if you have it on a door hanger or hook just take the wire and wrap it alot! to hard for someone to get it off quick! :rotfl:  Also, it helps w/windy days!

Shmu, congrats on the weight loss! I am constantly trying new things to get me up and moving. They say once you find something you love, it won't feel like exercise. I love to take dance classes, but adult classes are few and far between around here. I took a summer ballet course "for adults" which actually translated to teenagers...now that's humbling! But it was fun anyways. In turn, I bought the Dancing with the Stars exercise DVD, and its too hard! I can't keep up and get really frustrated.

Good day all! Looking forward to chatting today!

Shmu congrates:cheer2:.
I love Dancing w/ the stars. I just love all the dancing and would love to do that. I took dancing when I was little and cont. into my teens (oh that's right I'm still a teen:rotfl:). Did take a few classes later on in my 20's but it still is younger people. I would think in the summer you would get teens since school's out. Don't they have beginner, med. advance on the DVD. After all the judges don't expect that much the first week or so:rotfl2: My DD and I belong to a gym (well I did, temp. hold during foot thing), anyway, it's just a regular place, but when I would finally get the energy and go, I noticed they had added a few' a la' DWTS type classes, they even had one to exercise in heels since apparently this shapes your calfs:woohoo:. So you may want to check out something like that or the Y, I think since the popularity of the show more and more places are offering classes like that.

Thank you, I wondered if that was what everyone was talking about.:goodvibes I hope the foot is free too.

MagiKitty, congrats on passing the "inspection":thumbsup2 . I hope no Scrooge will take your wreath. :sad2: You may just have to hang it to the inside or make another one with a LoJack attached.
Thanks!! Tomorrow the big day:cheer2:, this foot will be free! I hope:cloud9:

Hi everyone!

Just popping in to say hi. I wouldn't want everyone to forget about me haha. :goodvibes Well I am off to catch up on the thread :surfweb: And look at this wreath everyone is talking about.:goodvibes

Hi, nice to hear from you.

OK,so explain it to me like I'm a 2 year old (a 3 year old would be able to figure it out!)--HOW do I multi-quote?????:confused3

See the "buttons" next to the "quote" button? The one next to the quote is the multiquote. Just click on that button for each post you want to quote.
When you finish picking quotes click on the "post reply" button
Insert your comment between each quote. :flower3:

Cool! Thanks!:thumbsup2

Ok the wreath thing..... My sis bought that one you see from Disneyshopping.com (the shipping thing can be avoided if you get there codes for % off and free shipping and so on put in as many as you like) AND she got the one you do yourself off the boards here somewhere and had our mom do it who put lights and stuff on it. Looks cool.

And the final tally for my first expierience on ebay................................... 23 out of 26 items sold. Had a great weekend.:cool1:

Thanks, for the info. Congrate's on ebay:cheer2:, way to go (disney, bucks here you come!),keep this up and your going to be a power lister!! I only sold 4 out 8:sad2:, but out of the 4 that sold 2 or 3 I wasn't sure would:yay:. Have more, just wish I didn't depend on DD for pic's and getting them on the computer.

OK,so explain it to me like I'm a 2 year old (a 3 year old would be able to figure it out!)--HOW do I multi-quote?????:confused3

This is coming from the computer confused:confused:, but I hope this helps. On the bottom right side of each post there is 3 columns, 1st one has quote, the next one to it has " (and something else) and the third I forget:laughing:. Anyway when you go through the post's and want to multi quote as you see a post you want to quote, click on #2 the one with " marks when you do that it will be highlighted. then you just keep going to each post you want to quote and hit #2 (the one w/" second in) after that hit post reply. The mistake I made was going to the quick reply that is on the bottom and you can quote one person, (I have no clue what advance reply is) just hit the reply to this post, which is on the bottom left of every post. Then your screen will come up for you to reply and you can post from there. Hope this helps. Not the best instructions, but tried to keep them pre school , since I'm still in that class:sad1:. If you go through this thread, there are better instructions, go back about a week or so.

OK, but what if I want to reply to different parts of ONE post???

See the "buttons" next to the "quote" button? The one next to the quote is the multiquote. Just click on that button for each post you want to quote.

Insert your comment between each quote. :flower3:

Hmmm, this seems easy enough...

OK,so explain it to me like I'm a 2 year old (a 3 year old would be able to figure it out!)--HOW do I multi-quote?????:confused3

the previous posts give great instructions, go on, give it a try, whgrn!
one other thing, just like regular single quotes, make sure you start your entry after the [/quote]. that way the quote will appear in a box, separate from what you're writing.

good luck, you can do it!!!!:cool1:

i just saw your new post while i was writing.
the only way i know how to quote only a part or a few parts of a quote, is to quote the whole post, then delete the parts you don't want. to get each part as a separate box, you would have to add the
at the beginning and end.
as i'm writing this and i know it will work, i'm thinking there MUST definitely be a better way!!!
i hope someone else adds some info about this!

sorry, each time i write it, it winds up as a box, like i'm quoting! sorry.
so let's try this - you have to write quote (but in brackets) at the beginning and /quote (in brackets) at the end.

i'm sure that's MUCH clearer now!! note the sarcasm!

Hi everyone, can't believe how many pages I missed yesterday! I spent too much time trying to figure out how to manage those cool Disneyworld pics from the fun little digital camera we got for the trip. I got them into the computer, then spent hours trying to get one just right for the Christmas card. I think I've got it figured out, but I want to see a good preview before I spend $$$$ getting them printed. Oh, well, that's for another day.

By the way, the lights on the Cinderella castle were gorgeous. Even the two DHs (no, they're not both MINE - we traveled with friends) went ooh and ahh.

I hope tomorrow is Free the Foot day for sure. Then we'll all have to start the Free the Threadkillers chant to get us all away from our work (whether we're paid for it or not, it's work, people!). Have to spend at least the next two days working. Even if I don't get time to post, I'll at least be lurking out there and trying to keep up with everyone.:surfweb:

Congrats Disney54us on multiquoting. You have been an inspiration to all os us. And good luck tomorrow. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks for all ideas about SIL. I honestly don't think they will go anyway. Money runs through their hands just like water. And since I am making all the plans and such, I made a strict rule that all money will be paid up front before I pay for anything. The same rule will apply to everyone so no one can argue about it. I have seen my DB and SIL promise enough times to pay someone back and never do. I won't be stuck paying for their vacation too, you know.

If they do have the money to join us, I'm sure everyone can give me plenty of out of way places to hide out from them for a while.:rotfl2:

MagiKitty, I showed DD your wreath and she said she would try to make me one this weekend. Can you tell me about how long it took you to make one of them?

Once your multi quotes come up in your reply box just delete the parts of the quotes you don't want, leave what you want space down a few lines, then start posting. When you get to the next quote, do the same and write below the quote.

When I grow up I want one:banana: (digital camera) then I want to learn how to put pic's on the computer. Then, I won't have to wait for DD and her skills:laughing:. Thank for the FREE The FOOT,wishes. I'm hoping to be free. I've seen many pic's on threads of the castle, it does look beautiful, so sorry I'm not there:sad2:, was suppose to be from 11/30-12/7:sad1:.

:rotfl2: inspiration, good one, I can't even get my Santa and reindeer on my sig, oh, but remember dis thinks I under 13 they won't let me upload gif's:laughing: at least I have a excuse, since I don't know if I would know how if I could. I just learned the word upload last week from my DD:rotfl2:.
No problem, about the SIL, relax, enjoy the season. Next year is a long time after the holidays you could start with plans, and in the mean time enjoy checking them out. Thanks for the good wishes, need a little:wizard:.

MagiKitty has been quiet tonight:confused3, I think she's off making more wreaths:thumbsup2.

Good night to all, need to empty the D/W.

good morning everyone!
By the way I have lost 10 lbs.:cool1: I have a goal I am trying to make in a year. I'll write more about that in my PTR. Well, would love to stay and chat but I need to take DD to her classes and then I'm off to excercise.:yay: (That smiley is about what I look like when I do a jump n jack.) :rotfl2:

way to go, on losing 10 lbs! it took me about 16 months to lose the weight after having dennis, that huge boy under my name! so much work, as i gained way more than the recommended 25 lbs, more like 45 - 50lbs!!! i'm 5'1", so believe me when i say, i looked like a beach ball!! but he's so big (just had his 18month check up 29lbs and 34"), just picking him up is a workout!!

Our big family vacation just may be getting bigger. My dad just invited my brother, his wife and their son to join us. I'm thrilled that my brother might be joining us and my nephew but SIL is another story. I like my SIL but she is just not a "Disney" person, if you know what I mean. And when my nephew is with her, he just turns into a wild child. It's only been one day since the invite have been extended and I'm already have the nightmare about reading about ourselves on a "You Wouldn't Believe What I Saw At Disney" thread.

i think the best way to handle this, if they decide to come, is when you're planning, ask her what type of things they like to do on vacation, maybe plan it for her if you feel like being nice, and be VERY up front that you WONT be spending every second together. this way if she and her family want to do something else, it won't hurt anyone's feelings if it's already been discussed beforehand.

we just came back from a trip with 15 people (3 babies), and this was the only way we survived the MIL. we would say something like, "the kids really want to go to this ride, do you want to wait here or should we meet up somewhere in a little while?" or "are you up for another park today, or do you want to hang here and rest for a while?" this way it wasn't a problem if she wanted to do something else.

either way, good luck with that! the SIL we went with, happens to be my best friend, so we didn't really have any problems, but it'll certainly be a challenge for you.

FREE THE FOOT! Sorry, its my last day to do it, and I had to squeeze one more in.

Morning friends, how are you all today? We've steadily hovered around 32* so there's been snow, some melting, some icing over. It looks like its going to be around for a while. I finally gave in and dug out the boots.

My UPS man is going to kill me. I took full advantage of free shipping offers online! Yesterday, I found four boxes in my vestibule. One of them was enormous! Some of these companies have to figure out different box sizes. That huge box was totally unnecessary, it was two Christmas holiday "kids", 28" tall, a boy and a girl. They could have fit 10 of them in that box.

So I was quiet yesterday, wrapping presents, prepping my holiday card list, paying bills, playing catch up with my mail. Searched through catalogs for some last minute stuff. So many friends and family to send little things to, so many spread all over the country. Inspired by weight loss, I got out the MP3 players and shook my booty for a while too.

dreamin in pa...please tell your daughter that it took me about 30-45 minutes to actually put the wreath together. It took me longer to shop for supplies! I used an 18" wreath for the head, two 12" ones for the ears. I had the hardest time figuring the ornament placement. Once you start, it goes quite fast. Good luck! I'm looking to make some Mickey head ornaments this weekend. I'm dangerous with a glue gun! And you should DEFINITELY get the money up front. Its a preventative measure. And you can enjoy more with that out of the way.

I think we're good with the multi-quote, although I'm still intimidated by it in theory. I must try soon, while all of us are figuring it out together.

Happy chatting everyone!

Shmu, congrats on the weight loss!
Thanks.:goodvibes
shmu- congrats on the 10 lbs. been working on losing 10..20..for about 3 years. I've stopped the advance but can't create a retreat!
I need to figure how to do the DIS and my elliptical exerciser at the same time. :rolleyes1
:rotfl: If you figure that out let me know.
Just popping in to say hi. I wouldn't want everyone to forget about me haha.
We'd never forget you.

Free the Foot, Free the Foot, Free the Foot, (Sounds like a picket chant):rotfl: Seriously, I'll be praying all goes well.

Got on the scales a while back and I weighed more than I ever have, including when I was pregnant. I said, enough is enough, and got to work. It's so easy to put it on but so difficult to take it off. Free Dining this past Sept. didn't help. Before my next trip Sept. 08, I would like to have my goal hit. I'm only 5'2" so I understand you too. Any amount of extra weight makes me look like a Beached Whale. Since we are also going to the beach next year, I don't want anybody to mistake me for that.:rotfl:

Good Morning everyone else.:hippie:

 Ok, I don't get online as much as some of you and there's NO WAY I can catch up!!! This thread is getting out of control!!!

Can someone just be a "Thread Pauser" for a few days so I can get out of this backlog reading? :rotfl:

Anyway, from what I've gathered. Many congrats on Weightloss and Multi-quoting. Good luck w/ SIL that can't keep money in her pocket, and

??? I hope your foot finds freedom??? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
I can't find the source post for that one yet.

This thread is great. :) :surfweb:
