Re: Enchanted, I'm sad to hear it wasn't so great. Our local paper gave it rave reviews. There are so many movies coming out that I want to see, but my nieces/nephews have outgrown their aunt in going to the movies, so I mostly wait until the DVD comes out anyway. (which reminds me, I have to return movies today) I just discovered Redbox, its in my local grocery. Anyone else do it? You can find promo codes for free rentals...I have yet to pay for a movie!

I didn't even know thread COULD be locked. I learned something already today! Who locks it? Can it be unlocked? Are they locked because they're bad/mean/unfriendly threads? Ooh, now I'm scared. Kids and Tech stuff, maybe my NY's resolution will be to take some of the free classes at the Apple store . We have one of those dvd machines at my market, just used it for the first time last week, they had a offer that it was free overnight rental, it's great and w/o coupons it's $1.

Thread Lock's are done by the mod's one on another forum that I was going to reply to and noticed it was locked. So I started one asking why and stating I felt it should be discussed and no one was getting rude etc. reply back came from mod and he locked my thread. I think he was in a locking and moving mood, I notice he was doing that alot

Wow, muffyn, I feel so inadequate to be just a lowly thread killer. Now we all have something new to aspire to!

I still haven't started to pack - but I'm doing all of the other preparation work. Have to hit Home Depot tomorrow to see if they have any Alien Green Mickey Heads. Otherwise will have to make my own. No way will the DH understand this.

Had to post something - the threadkillers were way too far down on the thread board.

I was a long time lurker until a few months ago...in the time since, I've worked my way up to Mouseketeer (yeah!). I've answered some questions, offered suggestions, yet whenever I seem to have a question or start a new thread, I go unanswered! Need to know about the green ear and Home Depot Have read this before, but no clue. Any info, appreciated.

The DIS's official color is lime green. Someone picked this color out so it would be easy to spot. Home Depot sells Disney paint colors. They have paper samples of their colors in their paint section. The samples are in the shape of Mickey Mouse. They are free. People use the Alien Green color (lime green) to help identify themselves that they are DISer's. I have seen on this board that people put them everywhere--on their hotel door, in their window, on their backpack, etc. It's to help us find each other while we are at WDW. Does that help?

Hello all!

Great news...Ethan home Sunday and my DH and I traveled over to see him with gifts and goodies from Mom and rest of family. Unfortunately he slept the whole time we were there, but we didn't stay all that long. His mom is really worn out!

I'm going to try and post my 1st picture. It was taken the day before Thanksgiving and was the 1st time he was held by his Mom. He is doing great and I'm feeling so much better about leaving tomorrow for WDW.

Thank you all so much for praying for him! Have a wonderful Disney Day all. I'm off to pack and get everything else done today! Hopefully!

Well, its a gray and icy Cyber Monday, and while I was quite excited for the sales today, I really haven't found any, which may be a good thing. I have some shopping yet to do, but I'm one of those who enjoys shopping, so it won't be such a chore for me. But I'm usually done with my shopping by Thanksgiving, but the trip kinda kinked my usual plans. Still awaiting the arrival of my tree, and after that I'm going holiday decorating crazy!

Shmu, thanks for the info, I know about the Dis paint, here I was thinking what, Home Depot sells wooden Mickey Ears in green. I guess the people in the paint dept. just watch and think there goes those crazy Dis'ers.

Good morning everyone!

I made it to Home Depot and got my LGMHs! Don't know how I'm going to explain this to my DH. Well, I won't make him wear one!

The pic of Ethan is fabulous. One of my nephews was born weighing 1 lb. 11 oz. - now he's 16, 6'1", and wears size 13 shoes. So even if things start out rough, miracles do happen. We'll keep Ethan and his family in our prayers for a while longer.

Gray and icy is a good description for today. Sorry to those not traveling, this week, but I'll be even happier knowing that it's nasty here while I'm in Orlando!

Hi again all!

Running around doing laundry and repacking and straighening out house as I go.....Thanks to all of you for best wishes for Ethan. He is a good baby so far. Taking up to 4 oz of formula at a time and sleeping about 20 hours a day! Gotta love it! Just talked to my sister. They were on the way to see his pediatrician. LOL, thats not spelled right! Anyway, just feeling so good.

Many errands to run today too!

Hey, we've got the same countdown calender. I'll be at Pop Wednesday morning by 11 AM....Will have my door decorated and have a lime green Mickey Head on my fanny pack and my camera bag. Look for me and give me out a shout! Doing MVMCP on Thursday night and then again on Dec 4th... Will be at Animal Kingdom all day Wednesday after I check in! Will be at MK on Friday, got a ticket for the taping. Will be at Epcot/MGM on Sunday.
Mon, Tuesday, not sure, except to eat at Tusker House new breakfast Tuesday morning.

Where are you staying! Looks like the weather is going to be perfect for us..
low 80's daytime and high 60"s in the evening. I'm dragging out more shorts to pack today! May even pack my bathing suit!

We're arriving Wednesday afternoon, staying at PO Riverside. We're doing MVMCP Thursday night, too! I'll probably have my LGMH on my fanny pack, may even pin one to my shirt.

Just packed my bathing suit, but who knows if I'll actually use it. No one really wants to see that, if you know what I mean. But the kids will hit the pool for sure. And I feel guilty, but I'm so glad the weather will be gorgeous in Orlando and lousy in Western New York. Makes the whole trip feel even better - if that's possible!

Gotta go look for packing suggestions to see if there's anything I've forgotten.
