oh, how TERRIBLE!!! thank God you're not responsible.
this happened to me when ordering my daughter's birth announcements, and the person used it to get a membership to a horrible guy website. i was furious, and had to call the company to get this off of my account. yuck! just thinking about it makes me so mad again!!

anyway, i can't believe i went shopping this morning at around 7:30! that was my first time and i doubt i'll do it again! i did get the kids pretty much done though, so i guess it worked out!

Hi all!

Wife went shopping this morning and said it was crazy in the electronics and toys dept's. We're done though so that's good. Put the tree up today and lights around the house was cool at first but then got to the lights and that took out any x-mas spirt I had. The kids helped out but then they got really nuts so had to put one down for a nap to break up & Going to try to open up a selling account today w/ Ebay today. Found out alot of old games I have for the Sega Saturn are going for ALOT of money on there. I don't understand it but not going to question it and am not going to play then again so GOODBYE!

That is awful, but how wonderful that your bank caught it so quickly!

anyway, i can't believe i went shopping this morning at around 7:30! that was my first time and i doubt i'll do it again! i did get the kids pretty much done though, so i guess it worked out!

We got up at 3:15 and drove 30 minutes to get to the mall at 4 am! We get the Mickey snowglobe every year at J C Penney, but they usually open at 5. This year they opened at 4 Is that crazy or what? But, they also had a lot of Disney Christmas stuff for 50% off. I got 2 strings of Santa Mickey head lights for $15 each and some cute mini stockings with a slot on the front for a gift card for about $1.79.

We also got a DVD player at Sears for $9.99, then went over to Best Buy and Old Navy, ate breakfast at IHOP, made one more stop at a local store and were home by 11. The kids (18 & 16) fell asleep in the car on the way home, just like when they were little.

I usually hate getting up that early and fighting the crowds, but it actually wasn't that bad this time.

Crisis is all taken care of. Account officially changed and police report written up. It never ceases to amaze me about stuff like this. If these dishonost people would use all the work, imagination, and brain cells to actually do something good they could be very successful. Oh well. Evil is evil.

On a lighter note, we are stepping out the door in about a 1/2 hour to go to my brothers. Some friends are joining us. They want us to bring a blackmail video of my brother. (He use to be an Elvis impersonator. I tell him he duplicated the fat Elvis era. Hey, I'm his sister I can talk to him that way. ) I am very close to my brother. We grew up being the best of friends. They moved back to GA several months ago from FLA. It's nice having him 5 min. away.

OK, one more neat bit of info and then I gotta go. My brother also use to host Kareoke night at a hotel in Orlando. Justin Timberlake and one of the other guys (name??) use to come there and Kareoke before they were big in the states. My brother use to talk about these young men that had incredible voices that would come in.

Good Picture. About time. We were there the first night they turned on the Ice lights on the castle. It was an unexpected pleasure.

blamemysister: I understand the ebay addiction! I think I have an addictive personality between Disboards, ebay, and planning my next trip to WDW. Oh, well, there are worse addictions, right? ebay is a great way multi-task by cleaning house and making easy money at the same time

shmu: glad it worked out! what a terrible way to spend the holiday, but I'm glad everything is better now. The Elvis thing is really cool. My holiday season doesn't "officially" begin until DH serenades me with Elvis' "Blue Christmas" It's a classic!

LOL, you are so funny! I hope you sell everything for great prices! I buy things on ebay, but have never sold anything. My DS22 who is in college sells all the time, though, mostly old video games and equipment and does really well.

I'm home all, had to post an update! Ethan must of decided he had a lot to be thankful for because sometime during the early morning hours Thanksgiving Day, he decided to turn things around. His oxygen stats started improving and they started turning down his oxygen. By about noon on Thanksgiving day, they decided it was time for his 1st bottle. He took a half an ounce. His nurse, Janet, is just an angel. This is the NICU unit at the the university of va, Charlottesville.

By Thanksgiving evening, he was taking a full ounce every three hours. His big sister finally got to hold him. Yesterday, he worked his way up to 2 ozs every 3 hours and they took him off oxygen completely and this morning, we just got a call from my sister that they moved him to a step down unit early this am. Possibly going home Sunday morning.

So, thank you all for all your prayers!

Mom and I got home last night and I'm going to cook that turkey sitting in the frige today! Hope it is still good, I put it in there to defrost last Saturday!

So a belated Happy Thanksgiving to all! Thank you again for all your prayers and well wishes. Will try to go back and catch up on all the thread later, but have to repack and get all my errands done.

So excited to be leaving Tuesday afternoon for Pittsburgh....WDW, here I come!

Just caught up w/everyone's post. Glad Thanksgiving seem to go well for all. Glad to hear about baby Ethan, sorry to here about check fraud, ebay addicted I have alot of stuff to sell to but I depend on DD to get the pictures on since well we know I lack in computer skills . Make sure you leave time for posting in between selling. Beautiful picture of the castle, I love how it reflects off the water, look forward to more pic's and trip report. For those who were out there Black Friday glad you got everything on your list and survived the mad rush. To the new thread killers. I think I covered most. Hey all! So glad to hear everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

I went out yesterday to do some shopping, but not as early as some of you! Was surprised that the mall wasn't TOO crazy at 9am, but did miss out on the Disney snowglobe at JcPenney . But did score some amazing sales esp at Finish Line where we got 12 pairs of sneakers for $140! Still have some shopping to do, but not worried too much.

Congrats on Baby Ethan, I was wondering about him. What a little fighter! Go Ethan go!

Hey, I actually do have "Mean People Suck" on a bumper sticker on my car.

Ebay is so so dangerous. I never figured out how to sell things, but boy could I buy stuff!

For those of you getting ready for you trips, good luck! We'll miss you! I bought the mini Star Wars bobble heads, and they sit on my desk. If anyone has ambitions of getting the Star Wars potato heads, I could only find the Storm Trooper one. I went all over looking for Spud Leia but no luck.

I managed to order a new pre-lit tree from Target online so I didn't have to fight the crowds...I'm so excited for its arrival! Christmases in past years have been low key, complete with a mini four foot tree. But for some reason we're already in the Christmas spirit and are ready to go all out....I can't wait!

As I've been decorating the tree and putting on all my WDW ornaments I've been sad about not going this Dec. Even though we are going in Feb. I'll miss all the Christmas decorations and festivities. So, I'm jealous of everyone going soon. But, by the middle of Jan, I'll be so excited about the upcoming trip, it won't matter.

I've never bought or sold anything on ebay. I just don't think I have anything anyone would want. What kind of stuff do ya'll sell? I bought some new bedding last month that I hate, but can't spend the money to buy something else. Someone suggested I sell it on ebay and use the money to buy something else. Would people actually want slightly used bedding?
