Just noticed you were on. 'Night Dreamin'! Hmmm - night dreaming... sounds kind of funny together... or appropriate... Oh geez. I must be really tired, I'm just rambling.

BTW - What do you guys think of Colin Stewart? Its a name we are considering. (Stewart was my grandfather, and the Stuart clan is my Scottish heritage, so it sort of does double duty.)
Love the name, but I'm biased as I have Stewart blood also. :goodvibes My DH says "big deal, it's like Smith" I just go :p

Good afternoon. I am fairly new to this board. I joined in 2006 but didn't start posting alot until recently. I am not able to call myself a threadkiller as I have yet to start a thread but I have noticed that I tend to be invisible. I will post in a thread and no one acknowledges me. Why oh why can't people see me?:confused3
Welcome! :cheer2: I feel invisible in real life, I come to this thread to feel visible!

I've started my TR on MS Word. I'm already not satisfied with what I wrote. :surfweb: As soon as I get a couple of installments ready, I'll post. I just don't want to have real long breaks between installments.

Oooh, I LOVE it!! Of course, I love ANYTHING Scottish...But I really like the name. My cousin's son is named Colin. And it goes so nicely with Stewart!

I can see you!!:lmao: Welcome!

I spent today cooking up a storm--I've got 2 crockpots going at once! One has chili, the other has tortilla soup (which has NO tortillas in it, but you can serve it with tortillas) I also made a big pot of rice and beans with turkey, which unfortunately does not have as much protein per serving as I'd hoped--probably becuase there's not enough turkey in it!! Oh well...

Anyway, I figured since I've got a freezer 1/2 full of food for my kids, I should make a bunch for ME--this way, it's so much easier to feed me! (Remember, I have surgery Thursday and I can't do anything for 5 days but stay in bed, and after that I'm VERY limited for another week+. So I figure I'll make it easy for the person who is taking care of me! Yup, that's me, always thinking ahead....:rotfl2:

Good for you being prepared!!! I did this before I had DS, and having some food in the freezer definitely made life easier.

Good luck w/ surgery! We'll be thinking of you!

Hey everyone. Boring night here. Been busy all day getting ready for the wedding shower tomorrow. It started off as a bridal shower but now we have invited all the men too. Now it's just turning into a big party. party: I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow.

lighttech- I read your post to DH and you actually got "She's lucky" and that was said in a 3-year-old's voice who just found out that his best friend gets to go to the park and he doesn't. :rotfl2:

whgrn=mmmm....all that food sounds so good. Love, love my crockpot. One of the best inventions ever. I've alot of people talk about the tortilla soup but never had it myself. What's it like? Do you mind passing the recipe along? Good luck with your surgery. I'll be thinking about you.

Pikester- Hi again. Do you have a Disney vacation planned? I'm going in November with 15 members of my crazy family.

Okay killers, I'll start back where I started some days ago and try to catch up!
I won't multi quoted everything since I think I'm back at page 229. I haven't read to the last page b/c I'm trying to figure out where I left off:confused3. So here goes.
Starting with DS and punks: Thank you all for the  and support!!!
Magsnden to answer your question, no these kid are the ones who live on the block, not the kids in his Catholic School. Now don't get me wrong there can be little 'devils' at some Catholic Schools been there done that and chose another school. In his school and grade it's just that they are overall a nice bunch of kids! That's hard to find these days.
Please do not give me credit for being mature or handling it well, since honestly I did the best I could but could not agree more with the comments from all my killers about what they would like to say and have done.
I learned being a mother that maturity goes out the window and so does looking at the world with kindness (sometimes), that every other parent will be raising there kids to be kind, polite and nice. DD is 17, so I have a few years of seeing, what the hec are you teaching your kids????? Granted in many cases all you have to see is how the parents are and hey go figure. As I once said, sorry there parents don't know better but not at the expense of my kids.
It sort of makes you warped after trying to raise kids to do the right thing and that doesn't work, when they are younger and not in school then it's easier you just don't have a playdate with little Billy (Can't believe I used that name, he's such a nice kid in DS's class) if he's a bully. When they are in school, it becomes more difficult. When kids have to see that after they been taught to trust a adult/teacher/principal, and that doesn't work it sort of clouds there judgement and as a adult mine. So to be quite honest, I will fess up and tell you that I do try to teach my kids to do the right thing, go to a person in authority but if that doesn't work sorry to say I will back them if they have to 'handle it'. I don't want my kids to be harassed, or bullied and if they tried all means to settle it and if a principal or a parent won't then sorry there's not much hope that it will change.
All this is hard for me to understand b/c I as I'm sure all of you would be :scared1: to get in trouble for something at school and OMG they are going to call my parents. In todays world it just doesn't seem to matter for some kids. Okay off my soapbox, but thanks for all the care and concern. Just didn't want to take credit for something that I'm right there with you. I wanted to be a raging bull. Of course from the time I sign on and started this post it's been hours and a few phone calls in between. So I guess at least I got this done and can cont. tomorrow. Of course if the computer didn't lose my post a few days ago I may have been close to catching up:confused3  .

I would not take any chances on the nice part...especially since you caught him in a lie already. I think going through your friend in HR would be wise. It's a shame it's after Easter---you could peep him! There's a difference between being professional and snooty.

Okay see I can catch up I can!!! So read through your post and comments and I do concur Sorry that is weird. Now it may be harmless and someone who lacks social skills, but sorry in this day and age you should know protocol in a job situation. I know he is new to the area, but he may want to make that offer to 'friends' in his new neighborhood:confused3, not with his boss. So I know that you don't want to seem snooty but in today's day and age you need to be careful, and you know what even years ago, there is protocol on the job and you don't come in and overstep. Besides for me he has made enough strange comments to get me uncomfortable IMHO.

Ok, so I've read thru page 225, and then jumped ahead to my last post on 227 and read from there. I'm SO confused!!!:confused3 Its like knowing the topic, but not coming in until the end of the conversation. So, I'll reserve comment until I catch up on the middle. I feel like I'm watching a movie all out of order... (of course that's how my life feels anyway sometimes!)

I'll reserve any comments until I catch up since I'm very uninformed, but I will say "welcome back" to whgrn, and pepper, I must admit my first thought was a "little souvenier" coming your way too! :rotfl:

Anyway, have a good day everyone... 3 more days 'till DSs party, and I have so much to do! I already told DH I don't think I'm doing much sleeping btw now and Sunday.

:rotfl2: :rotfl: gee, I'm not the only one who wants to post and can't catch up.
:cool1: Happy Birthday to DS:banana: :dance3: :woohoo:

disney54us-I'll just say for tonight and let you catch up. Doesn't it always seem like everyone else is chatty when we are at our busiest? :lmao:

sounds like a good idea....just something kind of informal with HR people.

Even though DD just returned from her disney trip, DH and I have discussed what we would do if they offer the trip for next year. We actually decided she would not be doing the trip again unless some things will be different. Besides the fact that we only found out about them being on their own in the parks 3 weeks before the trip, we also found out when she came home that a couple of the teacher's brought their families along. One brought her husband and another brought his wife and kids. Maybe it's just me, but I feel their focus should have been completely on the students. Is this normal for chaperones to bring their entire families along? This is the first trip of this type that one of my kids have taken and maybe my expectations were different. Opinions anyone?
Okay, first I would be upset if I found out 3 weeks b/f that they were going to be on there own in the parks. This is something that you should know up front and be able to make a decision with you DH b/f it being planned and DD knowing that she is going. At the point that you found out it would be almost impossible to go home to DD and say oh 'we changed our minds we're not comfortable", Disclosure is a wonderful thing, then let people make a choice. Chaperones, Okay I have read ahead and am trying to catch up. So, yes I do understand someone who would not want to leave their families behind. That being said, then they are probably the best choice for chaperones. I might even see (key word here Might, not fully decided on that) a DH going with a DW or visa versa. Again, full disclosure the parents should be aware of who is going to be on the trip with their children.
Now when it comes to bringing the kids sorry no no no. If they are there to be chaperones for a school event involving their students the that's what they are there for. Not a cover both bases and I can get my kids to Disney too. I know this may seem harsh, but we all here make sacrifices and plan and save to go to WDW, with our families. Doing that, especially when once again the parents weren't aware of it is not fair. Are they on 'the ball' and knowing where every kid is or if there is a problem? That's hard when you have your own kids there and what could be there first trip to Dis.
So you asked dreamin, and I can fully understand where you are coming from. I would venture to say what makes it worse is that you were not aware of all of this at the time when you agreed to send your DD. If you had all the info then you and DH could have decided how to proceed.:goodvibes

I would not take any chances on the nice part...especially since you caught him in a lie already. I think going through your friend in HR would be wise. It's a shame it's after Easter---you could peep him! There's a difference between being professional and snooty.

:lmao: :lmao: I do have to agree w/ Magikitty. Pepper, you might want to put a comma in there or something because it does look like you're expecting a "Disney baby". :rotfl2:

As for #3, I'd happily take that honor. :worship: However, since I am almost 40 and have a history of medical fertility issues, I doubt it will ever be me again.

Ah never say never. DN's BFF had endrometiosis (I know misspell ) since early teens. Always wanted to be a mom. Yes I know she is in her 20's. Anyhoo, she has 2- 2 and under, then had more problems and had a overy removed a few months back and guess what??? yep she's pregger's. This was a girl who at 17 was told she would never have babies.
:cloud9: prayers and remember you never know:wizard:.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Okay, I must have missed it but this is too funny. Everyone thinks you have a disney baby ticker, pepper:confused3

disney54us, you said everything I wanted to say. I really could understand the spouse going along. They are another adult to help with the kids. But once you add other kids to the mix, it seems more like a family vacation for them. I couldn't do it and I only wondered how well they could do it.

Okay, think I'll call it quits for tonight. I'm misspelling (really bad, not just here and there) and I ti ti. So real quick.
Since I hogged enough, if you guys weren't so chatty while I was 'Proming It' it would'nt be so hard:rotfl2: :rotfl:
Though you know it kills me if we go to many hours and no post:confused3 :rotfl:

You see me! You really see me! :wave2: Thank you all so much for your warm welcome.

 :woohoo: Welcome, do join in!!!!

Can't wait to really catch up and read your post.

disney54us-I'll just say for tonight and let you catch up. Doesn't it always seem like everyone else is chatty when we are at our busiest? :lmao:

Isn't that always the way:confused3 , goodnight dreamin, sweet dreams!

Night night dreamin, night night Killers!!!!!!!!!
Till the AM, Oh EST we're only 3 mins. away from the am
night night, getting tired giddy.

Just wanted to add a quick :wave2: in case I don't see you again. I can't agree with what's been going on around here. Love you all. Peace.

Morning Killers, well with:surfweb: coffee in hand I am bound and determined to get caught up:rotfl:.

LOL, I hear you loud and clear! Wouldn't it be great if we could have a few 36 hour days thrown in just to catch up on everything?

The kids are OK. It's been tough. You can read my blog for details--I won't bore everyone with the details here. Things are getting a little better though, and i'm feeling better. I was sinking into a major depression. Got pretty scary for awhile there. I'm going in for surgery next Thursday (5/1)--going to have the skin graft to close this abdominal wound once and for all (at least that's what it's SUPPOSED to do...) Originally he said 5 days in the hospital, but now he says 1-2, which is MUCH better! So I have all that fun stuff to coordinate. Aside from that, it's pretty much the same old, same old around here. I'm just glad the weather has turned nice. I was SO tired of freezing all the time! Today it was in the upper 70s, and I'm sitting here in cropped pants and a Tshirt, wearing my beloved Crocs. THIS is the way I like it!!!

Well, off to collect DS from aftercare, then make dinner. I have a meeting tonite so we have to eat a little early. Hopefully the sitter will remember she's supposed to be here...
Glad to here you are on the up swing and feeling better:goodvibes. That would be much better a few days in hospital v 5. Enjoy the weather and your crocs. Oh yeah one more thing punks and crocs. The day b/f all that happened with DS we had gone to the beach. Of course DS being DS didn't get out of the way when the tide came up and his shoes got soaked and filled w/sand. So after when we were walking around and going into the stores he was complaining his feet hurt. So I bought him a pair of rubber flip flops, they were crocs black/grey. He had them on the next day when the incident happened and he told me they even had a comment about that. Now it's not like kids don't where flip flops beach shoes etc. around here. So b/c he didn't have his 'skater shoes' on that were filled with sand that was a problem too.:confused3.

hi again! quick hello from here on long island where the weather is SO nice!

i got a sunburn today!! lol! isn't that soooo much better than freezing?! i do burn very easily - it's the irish in me, i just canNOT tan - but it's not the bad painful kind so i'm totally ok with it!

talk to you all later tonight, dad and brother coming for dinner soon.
Hope you had a nice dinner with family and watch out for the sun. Have you ever heard of Riviva products???? They are found in health food stores some salons, etc. Small company. They have a sun block that is called Beach BAby 25spf. It is great I have used it for years on myself and have used it on both DD and DS. They are fair, but can get tan sort of that blonde CA type of tan. Nobody would believe that if they see them in the winter. I swear by the stuff. Don't be put off by the 25 spf. I know it has b/c commonplace to see products with 45 even up to 70. When DD was younger her GF was very pale blonde toe head. Her mom had taken her to the beach and she got a very bad burn. The following day I asked if she could come with us and mom was concerned about the sun. She had used a 45 the day b/f I told her mom that I would use beach baby and be very careful. She went and didn't burn, mom was hooked. If you want more info PM me.

Looks like it was a chatty day. It is hard to catch up when you miss a few days.
It looks like we're going to be entertained with erupting cakes, fighter cupcakes, animation drawings, and prom pics. :surfweb: Lots of good things going on.
Yes, the weather was wonderful here too. My dogwood tree is out and looks like I'll get some lilacs soon. I cannot bring any inside because they make me sneeze.
Whgrn--I told you the Killers asked about you. pixiedust: for your surgery.

My dog wood is in bloom too:banana: looks so pretty and my snowball bushes gee I love spring!!!!

evening everyone. Boards sure are exciting tonight. Don't know what to think about what is being posted. I'm sure you'll all see some of it if you're on the community board later.

magsnden-I burn all the time too, even with sunscreen. And yup, got the irish in me too. :lmao: Thankfully all my kids take after DH. He's got small bit of American Indian in him and you can certainly tell during the summer. Winter too and it's just not fair.

whgrn-going to go check out your journal. I kept meaning to but but the kids kept sucking up all my brain cells and I kept forgetting. Those darn kids.

Bopsmom-Saw on the news about the bad weather out in Texas. You ok, out there?

Gosh I missed so much once again :confused3, I hardly get to venture out to stroll the boards:confused3, try to catch up here and check my recipe board.

:wave2:
We're fine. Thanks for asking. The bad weather was in Dallas their bad weather comes in off the plains. I live just outside of Houston our bad comes in off the Gulf.
We get tornados sometimes but not like they do in Dallas.

Actually it's been beautiful here. I got too much sun last Sunday designing the garden. Dummy me, I always wear a hat and I made sure DD had hers but forgot my own.:confused3. I guess I was so nervous about this job.

I've got indian blood in the family too, on my Mom's side but my Dad used to peel like an onion when he got in the sun and DH is Irish too and burns.
DD takes after me, but I had her in hats as an infant. She is strawberry blonde and freckles(the cute ones over the bridge of her nose) but I started her early wearing hats since our sun is so intense down here. I also put her in 'rash shirts' the surfer-style shirts to protect her shoulders and back and she still wears them in the water.

Glad your good, this morning I heard something about TX and bad weather they are to be getting, didn't catch if it was from the gulf. Hope not!!!

I think I found a troll...thread: You have nothing better to do? by someone with 2 posts (both of them on this thread-the only one actually) and whose name is Acrylic nails. I was going to say something sarcastic about nails but decided to leave it alone. :rolleyes1 They can kill their own thread! I'm not saving that one.

What is up with people?????? They have nothing better to do,but to sit at a computer and try to make trouble with others?? Sad statement about their life or lack of one.

M&N-don't reply to any of those type of threads you see on here for the next couple of days. Alot of people have been banned in the past week and there's a whole big mess going on. Webmaster Alex posted earlier with this thread. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1803492

Dreamin, clicked and read. Wow I'm not sure what is going on but it does seem crazy. And all this talk 'type of threads' the other board??? Once again I have no clue:laughing:.

i thought of something....if you look at my ticker you can see exactly how old the baby is!!! of course when they figure the dates they add 2 weeks, something i've always considered strange. but i think that's called the baby's gestational age.

so today i'm actually 15 weeks pregnant! yay!
i'm already getting big, seriously, i'm freaked out by this!

Oh to cute. Instead of having a typical baby ticker you can use your post trip ticker!! Love it!!!

ooh good luck with the prom!! it's so exciting! i hope you'll share pictures with us.
yuck have fun getting the house ready!

Thanks, pic's remember it's me, I can't even get a killer siggie or vacation ticker on!!!

:jumping2: I think I can almost there!!! I will catch up!!!!

WOW! What is going on, I wonder? Guess we'll find out if and when they are ready to tell us.

:confused3

morming everyone!

dreamin - do you know what "other" site they're talking about? maybe you could pm it to me. that's some pretty crazy stuff going on over there. really makes you more curious than it helps to just say we can't comment!

i saw you guys mentioned those rash guards - my mags has been wearing those kind of bathing suits her whole life (she's only 4!! lol!). i am soooooo glad that they're actually the fashion now for girls. sooo much more protective. i used to get these suits from ll bean that were perfect - 1 piece - and they were like shorts too. they would sometimes go past the knee and elbows. here's a link http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/st...48&cat4=6144&shop_method=pp&feat=6148-tn&np=Y

sorry so chatty this early in the morning. maggie woke me at 6:30 so i've been up for a while!

talk to you later!
:confused3 So confused about 'what's going on'.

 glad they got there alright.

Have fun with the prom prep. :thumbsup2
They grow up so fast-but still like to play dress up:
I'm a weepy mom, DH puddles up too-I would be/will be a watery mess getting DD ready for Prom.

Thanks went a bought organic soil and of course we are going down in the temps thought that was over. So I may keep them inside till this passes for the next few days.
Yes they do, strange for me that my 'baby' was going of to her Junior Prom'.
She really did look beautiful, if I may say. Her gown was very pretty.

Happy Friday friends...this week has flown by so fast for me! I can't believe its nearly the weekend already. Not that I have lots of plans, I mostly am fretting about driving down to JFK tonight to pick up my Dad. I'm hoping to avoid traffic.

All this talk of bathing suits! I do tan well myself, except for my forehead! For some reason, not only do I burn, but I turn magenta! I'm a fanatic about sunscreen, especially on my face. I'm the only one of my 37 cousins who has freckles...let me tell you how many people who have asked me why I have them if I'm Asian! (I have a Swiss grandmother, its her fault).

Its so good to hear that all the parents out there are teaching and protecting their kids early against sun exposure. You are laying the groundwork for healthy habits.

Happy Prom going! Wow, what a specia night its going to be. My twins have theirs next weekend. They do grow up so fast, but its wonderful to see them in their formal finery. I can't wait for pictures!
Avoid traffic on a Friday in NY:laughing:, good luck!!!! I hope your twins have fun at theirs!!!!! I don't see you burning:confused3,.

Hi  (love this smilie)
Thanks for mentioning Webmaster Alec's post. At least it gives a hint about what happened. I can't believe I go away for a few days and you know what hits the fan! I missed all of the confusion.
I've have my pictures ready for my trip report. Now I have to do the hard part...writing up an interesting TR! :headache: I don't write or talk much so it will be hard for me.
Have a lovely prom and birthday party!

Post the pic's  we can't wait!!!! Thanks on prom wishes!!!

Thanks everyone for your input on Beaker. I ignored the text and when he asked me if I got it I said yes, but I like to limit my Texts/phone calls by "employees" to calling in sick or late because those things are expensive". I went on to say "I hope you understand" I felt like such a SNOOT!!! But I gotta have piece of mind.

Disney 54- Prom oh the memories. But the real question is how are you holding up? I did okay when it was my DS, but somehow next year when it is my turn to send DD off to prom it is going to be a major kleenex moment...my baby. :sad1:

I have not read through, I need to catch up. Hello to everyone.
You were not being a snoot, you were laying down guidelines!:goodvibes
Thanks, I think their was so much running around, that I didn't have time to really let it sink in.

No more confusion Pepper! Now we know exactly what you are saying.

Well, I'm just popping on quick before bed. Got some more cleaning done, and some laundry. I have to work tomorrow, and then tomorrow night will be cake making and decorating. Then, hopefully, I'll be able to finish sweeping up and decorating on Sunday before the troops show up.

DS is super excited... as a matter of fact, I just went into his room to re-tuck him in!!:scared1: Its almost 11! :scared1: He's always out by 9 at the latest even if he's rammy, but I heard this tiny little voice as I sat down for my DIS moment and realized he was still up. (Apparently his stuffed animals were not listening and wouldn't go to sleep  . We decided that if they were keeping him up, that wasn't very nice and they would have to be put away instead of sleeping w/ him. They decided to listen then. )

Anyway, have a good night all! I'm off to try to fall asleep amidst DHs snoring and (hopefully) no more singing from DSs room until morning. :flower3:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: to funny, I can't believe his stuff animals would do that!!! Don't they know he needs his sleep??? Have fun tomorrow I will give DS his own post since I know he loves the smilies.

I like it!!! It sounds very distinguished!!

Colin Stewart...mmm....sounds good (had to say it in that authorative mom's voice in my head first :rotfl2: ) Seriously, I like it! That's cool that you could find a middle name that represents two seperate important things in your lives.

Hope your DS has a great time at his party on Sunday. Wanna see a pic of the cake. I love cake even if I can't bake for anything.

ps....my DH turned on QVC to watch For Race Fans Only tonight and I got to tell him that I knew someone who worked there. Of course he didn't believe me at first but he sure was impressed when I threatened to smack him upside the head.

:rotfl2: oh dreamin, did he think you were talking about one of your 'pretend friends' again??:rotfl:

Mornin' everyone.

Just checking in. Getting ready to head to the ODAC tournament in Lynchburg, so I won't be on all weekend (See I'm following our check in rule ha ha) DS had a horrible game on Thur so we decided to go offer some extra support.

Pretty good. He reacts well to my corrections I have noticed. That is a plus. yesterday I flat out told him that I get nervous easy and he seemed to back off. I didn't direct it towards him at all, but I think he took the hint. Tried to put his wife on the phone again and I told him I was too busy but to tell her hello for me. He keeps hinting that she needs a job....yea, not gonna happen :rotfl:

I love that name!! Sounds like a ball player...watch... say this out loud in an announcer voice:

"Now up to bat Collin Stewart...insert last name"

Yep, DH says if a kid has a ball player name he is set for life ha ha. We are way too baseball obsessed our DS was specifically named because DH thought his name sounded like a ball player.

Ooohhh it also sounds like a Dr. Name "Dr. Collin Stewart, please report to ER" Yea, I'm a dork...it's official. :) I think it is a great name. good job.

Oh, have fun tomorrow at DS party. :yay:

Disney54- How was prom? I bet she had a blast.

DL55- Looking forward to reading your trip report. I still have not made my ADR's. I am stuck on the Animal Kingdom day for dinner and the Magic Kingdom day for dinner. We are not much on exotic foods so I am really struggling with AK day. uggg ha ha

I will see you all probably Monday night or Tuesday. :goodvibes

Glad you are following the check in rules:laughing:. ODAC Old Domenium (I misspelled) but is it something like that???
Good Luck to you DS on his game love the paging DR Colin Stuart to ER:rotfl: and next batter uupppp!
Glad beaker might be 'getting it' the wife thing, :confused3 hello where did this guy come from????

You can tell DH that not only does the person you know work there, but she used to go out and do the lighting for those remotes regularly. I've lit shows at Chicago Motor Speedway, Talladega, Dover, Indianapolis.... ummm, I think thats it. (When you are just working and not doing a lot of sleeping, they tend to run together.) I've gotten to see Gordon, Petty, Harvick and Stewart in person (although didn't really talk to them, they get whisked in and out pretty quick since race weekends are so busy.) If he still needs a smack, I can send you a copy of some of my media/pit passes. :lmao:

Thanks for the name input. I think I really like it. DH isn't quite sold yet.

Too funny!

And, I'm glad Beaker is reacting well. Have a great time this weekend. Hope the games go great!
How coool for you. See dreamin your DH will have to accept you have interesting 'pretend friends':rotfl2:

Good afternoon. I am fairly new to this board. I joined in 2006 but didn't start posting alot until recently. I am not able to call myself a threadkiller as I have yet to start a thread but I have noticed that I tend to be invisible. I will post in a thread and no one acknowledges me. Why oh why can't people see me?:confused3

We see ya!!!!We have all been there and I can't explain why some people do that :confused3, Guess they are not as welcoming as us:goodvibes.

Love the name, but I'm biased as I have Stewart blood also. :goodvibes My DH says "big deal, it's like Smith" I just go :p

Welcome! :cheer2: I feel invisible in real life, I come to this thread to feel visible!

I've started my TR on MS Word. I'm already not satisfied with what I wrote. :surfweb: As soon as I get a couple of installments ready, I'll post. I just don't want to have real long breaks between installments.

 yeah you started your TR good for you. Your not invisible DL!!!!

Oooh, I LOVE it!! Of course, I love ANYTHING Scottish...But I really like the name. My cousin's son is named Colin. And it goes so nicely with Stewart!

I can see you!! Welcome!

I spent today cooking up a storm--I've got 2 crockpots going at once! One has chili, the other has tortilla soup (which has NO tortillas in it, but you can serve it with tortillas) I also made a big pot of rice and beans with turkey, which unfortunately does not have as much protein per serving as I'd hoped--probably because there's not enough turkey in it!!

MMMM, everything sounds so good!!! Look at you prepping and taking care of everyone when your the one having the surgery. Prayers and :grouphug: coming you way!!!

You see me! You really see me! :wave2: Thank you all so much for your warm welcome.

Yes we see You!!!

Just wanted to add a quick :wave2: in case I don't see you again. I can't agree with what's been going on around here. Love you all. Peace.

:confused3 , that is a cryptic message!!! What's going on?????
I know you have the shower/party today so you wouldn't be on so then we don't know if it's b/c your busy or what. I hope you have fun and we want pic's especially of the cake!!!!

There I did it, caught up I think!!! Have to go talk to you all later!

Disney54us looks like you caught up.;) pepperw23 ticker had the word baby in it , if you read it quickly you may have interpreted as a baby sticker, she has since changed it :rotfl:

dreamin in pa- Me, DH, DS10, DS7, my mother and father will be staying at Pop from Dec 7th-Dec 14th. My family of four will be driving from NH and my parents will be flying. This is our second trip to The World. We went in December 2006 and we stayed at Pop. On that trip it was my family of 4, my mother and my nephew.

disney54us- Can't wait to join in. I think I need to go back a few pages, well, maybe more then a few so I can catch up on what everyone is posting about.

Everyone here has been very welcoming. I usually don't have much to say but when I do; I'm glad that there are people here who are willing to listen.

I better go start reading.:surfweb:
