Nothing much going on, do need to vent about earings I bought for DD and broke. Purchased them on 12/13, thinking I would have them for X-mas (5 days shipping from west coast to east). I bought it from Belle Gray you know Lisa Rhinna owns the store. Very cool stuff and there is a Designer that has some nice silver stuff. Well never got it for xmas, when I went online and checked the order real small it says orders are shipped in 4-6 weeks. Well while don't they have that when you click on add to shopping cart?? Not after you check out and process. They came mid January, and she wore the hoops maybe twice and I wore them once. I went to put them away and the post was broken off from the hoop. I called on the 15th of Feb. and spoke to Taylor the guy in charge of internet orders. After going through the story he at first is well you've had them for a month. I told him she's had hoops from target that lasted longer and a pair of silver hoops should not break after a month, that I believe it was a weak point in that part of the earing where it broke. He told me he would have to contact the designer and blah blah. He would call me back. Well I never received a phone call and I usually do calls like that in the AM of course they are not open then and finally called last night. Well what a obnoxious twit, he told me that it would have gone to Heather the GM and didn't she call?? Why no, I wouldn't be calling you if she did. I went on to say that a month is long enough, and customer service seems to be lacking. Then he states something to the effect of it wasn't bought in the store it was shipped
, well if you don't back the products you sell via the web then don't sell them. He ask how old my DD is and if I think she takes care of her things the way I would
at this point I lost it. I'm like listen this isn't the first piece of jewelry she's had, and yes I think she takes care of her stuff that's why a bought her a car too for B-day (okay insert being obnoxious, he deserved it
). My gf designs jewelry that she sells to the Ritz/Carlton and they last more then a month. He tells me about his Tom Ford $400.00 sunglasses

, of course case in point I ask did they take care of the problem?? Yes, well exactly do the same this is getting old. I told him to have Heather call and good night. I called Amex and had them take it off the bill and the girl there was so funny, she looked up the designer and gave me the phone # she said call them direct and tell them what's going on. I did and apparently they have had a problem w/the hoops she gave me a ra# to exchange them. So for taylor and making me jump threw 'hoops' over a pr of hoops your not as

. Oh by the way I would not recomend buying from there. Just have to add, that having worked in retail half of my life and having had my own store for 9 years, it gets my goat with the lack of customer service these days. Then Companies complain they are not doing well.

Wow!!! That really stinks. What did he think your DD was doing with the earrings? Throwing them on the floor and stepping on them? So, he had 400 sunglasses that broke....you should have asked him if he was reponsible enough to take care of them. You are right about customer service....it really does stink alot of the time.

Isn't it sad that we kinda expect customer service to be bad and mean? I'm glad that you managed to "beat" the system. I know that being involved in customer relations can be very trying, dealing with people all the time. But doesn't everyone have hardships with their jobs? I hate it when they get snippy with you--its like I need you to help me out with my problem, not be subjected to your not-so-pleasant attitude. I personally am so happy and grateful when I find a friendly face or voice when dealing with companies.
Someone stole my Minnie Mouse Princess antenna topper yesterday in the parking lot. I'm rather steamed about it. Its my second one stolen. I had beautiful gold glitter ears before. How can someone look at my antenna and justify stealing from me? I guess I should just be happy they didn't break my antenna in the process. I don't have a Disney store in my immediate area, so my antenna will have to go naked for a few weeks.
Grrr...I know its silly, but that little bit of pink happiness on my car really brightened my day when I headed out to the car every day.

I can't believe someone did that!! There is so little respect anymore. We have one that I bought on last vacation but I just can't bring myself to put it on the van. I read on here that it has happened to alot of people and I just know our's wouldn't last too long. Sorry it happened to you too.

Just another example of crummy customer service. Don't worry about being obnoxious. You need to be snarky w/ people like that!

Yes, the gold topper was stolen also. It just upsets me so much, the petty meanness of people. And I haven't been able to find the gold glitter ears again (I bought it at WDW two years ago), so now I have to search for something new to put on my antenna. I read a thread a while ago, those of us whose toppers have been stolen, and they recommended putting a stick pin through the topper so when someone tries to remove it they get stuck! It seemed rather mean at the time, but I may consider it if I get another topper...

disney54us hope you feel better after venting. I feel customer service will get worse as more jobs are becoming service jobs and people who shouldn't be in those types of jobs (like me) take them to pay the bills. (Do I get a prize for a run on sentence?)

I know she's sick, she's missing a party at school and had to cancel a sleepover for tonight
to DD. I hope she feels better soon. I kept DD6 home yesterday. She wasn't real sick but run-down. Many people will not approve but she really needed a rejuvenation day. She's been sick this year but hasn't miss any school because of it. She either got sick on the weekend or when school was cancelled because of snow thie year. I think everybody needs a day now and then just to relax.
