I would love to one day have stayed at all resorts but still have far way to go. It's been hard to give up my favorites of POP and POR. So far I've tried all but AoA in value, POFQ & CSR mods, and hardly any Deluxe, only AKL.
We are light packers and I want to maximize resorts So I am thinking for our upcoming stay next May which will be two adults, nine nights I would try this:
AoA four nights hoping for a dining package because I could use tickets and we are quick service people anyway. And it keeps me close to POP. Hit parks for the first two days then enjoy the big blue pool on our check out day and maybe a watermark then that night move to....
Wilderness Lodge in the middle if week as better rate than the weekends I come in or leave on. Once again hoping for a room only deal. (This will make doing ALL the deluxe dufficult as I hate justifying those rates) Only one night here but plan to get there by early afternoon to enjoy the evening. Next day sleep in, take a dip in pool and head to MK via boat for the evening, maybe check out Fort Wilderness beforehand as I've never made it there yet. IF a great room only for Yacht Club comes out would prefer that skipping water park day of move and hitting HS for morning of move and going to EPCOT evening of the next move. Then head to our new resort.....
Coranado or CBR. I've stayed at CBR back in 1999 so I think it will feel like a new resort since many changes since then but it does not accomplish my every resort stay. But this is the resort my friend desires. However I am footing the bill and though I really don't have a preference other than it being a "new" resort will probably choose CSR. Plus as of now CBR only has pirate themed rooms for my dates. And yes I am still hoping for a room only deal so that could change where I end up. POFQ is the only other moderate and I could go there but I sort of feel like that wouldn't be new enough as I have been to POR so much and often visit POFQ.
Thanks for reading and if anyone has thoughts or suggestions please chime in. Basically I just wanted to voice my plans. And maybe someone has a good idea to improve this plan.
