With all the above said, do we know whether custom orders at Cabanas is still available? For example, I like my eggs over or fried and that always ensured I got fresh cooked (ignoring the sugar issue with the scrambled too). I would hate to hear that feature has gone the way of the dodo.

Not to mention the evidently limited selection at Cabanas. Hoping they fix that in the next 78 days.

Eggs for use in commercial settings come in large containers already shelled - like Egg Beaters at the grocery store on a larger scale. Some of those liquid egg products may have sugars or other stabilizers to help their shelf life.

We do not eat seafood, so can't speak to that. We got one of the regular antipasti. I would characterize it as a plate for two (there were 3 of us). Didn't seem like there were any limits on what you could order, however, we didn't attempt to order multiples of any one item. We don't want to eat too much of one item, as tempting as it is You could order some of the pastry items (sticky buns, almond croissant, etc) that were normally on the buffet. We ordered pizza, a calzone, eggs Benedict, a frittata, the chicken Parm, lasagna, and eggplant rollatini among other things.

I’m glad you mentioned the chicken parm! My wife would cancel if they didn’t have that! I didn’t realize they had removed the buffet portion.

Still trying to figure out if it's limited now or if it's like the family style that buffet restaurants used in the parks, which would mean A.) Still all you care to eat and B.) very well might be going back to normal after a period of testing and time, just like they recently turned all you care to eat back to buffets in the parks.

Yeah...it really Is a shame but at least they offer the seafood starter. Hoping I can get a reservation for Palo once I'm onboard the ship. With the buffet gone, I won't be too bummed if I am unable to secure one.

Did you try again today? I’ve seen some cabins (including concierge) open up on our cruise today with the cancellations due to Vax requirements.

I actually tried calling today because @jrapps suggested I try that route. The CM told me they see exactly what I see on their end. It still shows sold out.

Yes, I've seen multiple confirmations that this was still available.

Thank you. This is one of our favorite things to do, and is a part of our consideration of activities that will help us determine if we keep the cruise. With all the cutbacks we were worried.

My daughter saw it open on the first day but it was never open the multiple times we went back. To be fair, we only went up after 6pm to play.

Thank you for the reply. We usually make it a point to get up there a couple times on a seven day cruise. With all the cutbacks we were hoping this would be available. We usually hit it up during the day. Evenings were spent dinning and stage shows/acts/movies/shopping/strolling the decks when its quiet. Maybe even the outdoor screen movie.
