NOTE: Spice Road Table is a lake-side eatery at Epcot Morocco. It's a "Table Service"
eatery, but has tapas and small-plate meals. Menu items include zesty harissa chicken
drumettes, Mussels Tagine cooked in traditional earthenware pots, garlic jumbo shrimp and
Mediterranean omelets with sausage, potatoes and caramelized onions. Spice Road Table is
open daily with World Showcase, 11:00am to Park close, serving lunch and dinner. During
nite EMH Hours, the location will stay open until 10:00. Inspired by the outdoor cafes
along Mediterranean, Spice Road Table overlooks the Lagoon and offers waterfront views.
The eatery has great views of Illuminations,

We were there in May and on a whim decided to drop in for lunch. Had no problem getting seated (we love the main restaurant in Morocco and the QS as well). DS, DIL and myself shared a number of small plates (had to ask for more pita for the hummus) and each tried a different beer. I lived in Saudi Arabia for a number of years and it was fun to speak a little Arabic with the waiter. The food was good, sat by the window and looked over the lake so that was nice and relaxing. The service was good, there weren't a lot of people in there, I can't remember what time of day it was but I'm guessing probably around 2 or so since we had late dinner ADRs. All in all we enjoyed it and if we don't want the heavy meal from the main restaurant, and aren't in the mood for a full meal from QS we will definitely go back.

I went there last October and we weren't impressed. Nothing overly bad just not very impressed considering F&W was going on. We're glad we tried it but its a one and done for us.

Did anyone go and eat during Illuminations? We have reservations that will coincide but this is our only day in Epcot so I want to make sure we have a good view from the restaurant.

I actually asked this question a few weeks ago because I wanted to do the same thing. I was told that there is an island in the lagoon that will partially obstruct the view of the globe and the lower fireworks. I am a fireworks fanatic so I moved our reservations up earlier so we'd be done with dinner by 7:30ish and then we could grab a drink somewhere and stake out a good spot for the show.
