Thoughts on San Angel Inn @ Epcot??

Very dark. Dark, dark, dark. Watch out for the chile relleno! :rotfl:

DW and I have eaten dinner at San Angel by ourselves and with family on several occasions. While most of the other reviews here seem to lean toward the negative, we have enjoyed the atmosphere (Best in WShowcase) and the food every time we've visited. We have probably been there 5 or 6 times and definitely plan to visit again. As for the close together tables, if you don't mind missing Illuminations, get a later dinner reservation, and you will find the restaurant to be much less hectic. We did this the last time and it was wonderful. Just my 2 cents. Enjoy your stay.

We did not enjoy San Angel when we went in Dec. The food was just okay and as for atmosphere, it all depends on where you are seated. We were seated in the hole where the kitchen entrance is and where you have to cross by to get to the bathroom. We were also in a corner, so we weren't really "feeling" the atmosphere. We went at a non-crowded time and the service was so slow. It wasn't horrible, we just won't be back (too many places to try to do an okay restaurant twice).
