Thoughts on Raglan Road

We really enjoyed our meal there in February. Kid's meal was HUGE (chicken tenders), DH had a burger, I had the portobello sandwich, which I Loved!!

The band is great energy and the Irish Dancing is top notch. (It is not quiet at all though)

We ate there on June 3, first timers...if you click on my June link you will see the current menu and food pics and my full review. The food was worse than terrible, horrible and just bad bad bad. The service started out great but then he went MIA for the most of the meal. The music and dancing is great but not a reason for me to give this place a second try

Although I liked Raglan Road (I had some lobster salad sandwich for lunch that was good), the other 4 people in my group said it was their least favorite meal of our last trip and didn't care to return. Service was slow too. By the way, we ate there on June 3 too! Maybe the Raglan Road crew was in a slump that day!:rotfl2:

I was beginning to think we were the only people who didn't like RR. We ate lunch there in April. We really liked the bread with dipping sauce. That was definitely the best part of our meal though. My DH had the fish n' chips. He's one who will eat anything. I was totally shocked when he said he couldn't eat it. I've never heard him say that before. I ordered the burger. It was w/o a doubt the worst burger I've ever eaten. It was horrible! For dessert, we shared the bread & butter pudding. From all the raves, I couldn't wait to try it. I made the mistake of dumping all the sauce into the bread at once. This made it too rich for us, so we only ate a few bites. That was my fault though. I should have added a little at a time, & it probably would have been very good. That said, the appetizers looked good. Unfortunately, we didn't order any of those. We've decided to give it another try in the future, & will order a variety of appys & dessert.

My family and I love Raglan Road! On our last visit, this is what we had:

DH, DS & DD had the Colpucinno, which they really enjoyed

I had the Seared Beef Salad which was out-of-this-world delicious! I'd go back just to have this again.

Entrees included the Fish & Chips (DH), Serious Sirloin Steak (DS), Pan Fried Lemon Sole & Chips (DD) and Posh Pan Chicken (Me)

Everyone enjoyed their entrees, but I thought the chicken was a bit dry and needed more sauce. It was kinda bland.

Desserts! Everyone else had Apple Pie a la mode and I had Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding. OMG, this is an amazing dessert!! :lovestruc

RR is definitely on our "must do" list for next trip, we can't wait to go back!

Have had one bad, and one good experience at RR. Won't go back again after the bad experience. Too many other places that I like, right in DTD (like Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich!).

I tried the fish and chips, and they arrived barely lukewarm and soggy. Plus, the music was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk (and we were sitting fairly far away, in the bar).

We went there last September and really enjoyed it! We sat right next to the Irish Band trio in the front room. We had a good view of the dancers too.

I personally would HIGHLY recommend the Shepards Pie and Bread pudding. (I plan on having them again this Sept. )

We ate there last weekend. Hubby and I had the fish and chips...was not that good...BUT have eaten there many times before and had other things (bangers and mash, shepards pie) and they were great. We also had the bread pudding...Best desert in Disney if you ask me...YUMMMMM!!!!!! The music was good!!!

Band plays at 9PM Monday - Saturday nights.

We've always had very good food and service at Raglan Road and usually end up paying them a visit every time we're at WDW.

The dalkey duo is a great appetizer to share (fried sausages with mustard dipping sauce) and my hubby has tried their bangers and mash and heavenly ham and likes them both. They also have a great selection of beer to choose from. :thumbsup2

We've only been once and really enjoyed it, would definitely go back for the calamari! Entree we loved - It's Not Bleedin Chowder. Dessert - bread pudding is a winner!

We ate at RR on June 10th and my DH and teenage DS's really liked it! The food was good, the service was great, and the entertainment was a real bonus.
