Thoughts on POFQ?

What does everyone think of this resort. Financial constraints and the purchase of a new house mean we would struggle to stay at delux for our next trip jan/feb 2008. My DGF has suggested POFQ and is on the verge of booking. I was wondering if you thought it would suit us.
We are 25 and although will spend majority of time at WDW but also enjoy going to the mall's and Universal. We like to dine on and off site and enjoy to relax with a few beers or a bottle of wine. We will have a car so transportation is not an issue.
Do you think POFQ will suit us?

There is no way for me or anyone else to know what your personal tastes are as far as decor and landscaping, but many people, me among them, feel POFQ is a wonderful place to stay. I love the fact that the resort is small and quiet. There seems to be something for everyone there. If you visit the links I posted above you might get a better idea of whether you think POFQ will suit you. Personally, in 26 days I will be returning to POFQ for my 4th stay there (but who's counting? ), and I can hardly wait!

Absolutely LOOOOVVVEE POFQ!!! We'll be staying there
March 15-20th. It is so relaxing and a very nice(small) resort. We
can't wait til March rolls around.

POFQ is my favorite Moderate resort. It is the smallest Moderate and everything is nearby. It has one themed pool and a hot tub. The Food Court is nice. The themeing is, in my opinion, beautiful. The buses share with POR, but the French Quarter is the first stop both coming and going, so you are usually assured a seat in the morning and are the first home at night.
I would return in a second.

We fell in love with POFQ last Oct and now when even staying at WDW not on our DVC points we will stay at POFQ.
Small but never seems crowded,Very easy to navigate and the boat to DTD is a nice small ride.

I'm a deluxe resort customer, but I loved POFQ. I stayed there in 2000. The design and landscaping are gorgeous. Just walking the grounds was amazing. The rooms are not that special, but overall, I recommend POFQ to those who are considering that resort.

Its our favorite resort b/c of multiple reasons. Its the smallest of all the mods so it has the least amount of people there, it has great food in the food court, its relaxing, the themeing is good to, and its centrally located to everything in WDW.

LOVE POFQ and would stay there again in a heartbeat if dd wasn't going to be having her 3rd bd and putting us up to 5 people. Landscaping is lovely, rooms perfect, small and easy to get around, beautiful walk by the river, delightful front desk and bellhop staff, buses to parks were reliable, fabulous pool for young kids. The only complaint is the food court (painfully, painfully slow) but if you're planning on eating elsewhere most of the trip it's not a big deal - it's a quick boat ride to Boatwright's next door which is nice.

If you decide on POFQ, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Another Deluxe person here who loves POFQ. I love the small size, the theming, the landscaping (on par with deluxe resorts) and how close the parking lot is to the buildings as I usually rent a car. I've found the CMs there to be helpful and friendly each time I visit.
