Thoughts on our ADRs?

Hi everyone, we upgraded from All Star Music to Coronado Springs for our trip from September 23-September 28, and our dining plan was changed from QSDP to DDP. Our DS will be 15 months when we go, so we tried to make our reservations with him in mind. We mostly did early lunches to avoid evening fussiness.

Arrival Day September 23rd - Nothing in case we are running late (we're driving ETA 4 pm-ish)

Monday September 24th - Lunch @ San Angel Inn 11:30 am

Tuesday September 25th - Lunch @ The Plaza 11:00 am

Wednesday September 26th - Breakfast @ Boma 8:00 am, Dinner @ Maya Grill 5:00 pm

Thursday, September 27th - Lunch @ Via Napoli @ 11:30 am

Friday, September 28th - Lunch @ Liberty Tree Tavern @ 11:30 am

Since I just started to try and get reservations currently there are no character meals available with the exception of Cape May breakfast which I wasn't sure about driving too so I didn't book it. I am still checking every day to see if I can change anything to include T-Rex, Ohana or Garden Grill as I think these are the restaurants that my DS would enjoy the most.

Do these reservations and times look kid-friendly to you? What changes would you make? I could sub Rainforest Cafe for Maya Grill, which might be more fun for DS but Maya Grill is at our hotel which would maybe be quieter for him before bed. Tusker House is also available for dinner which we love but with Boma for breakfast not sure if it would be too similar. Also, I have always wanted to try Restaurant Marrakesh because I love Tangierine Cafe but it looks like reviews seem to say the CS is actually better than the TS.

Any thoughts/ideas/critiques welcome!!

I love Cape May Cafe. You can use WDW transportation if you wanted. You could catch a bus to DHS and then take the boat to Beach Club. I think your son would love it!

I agree, though, keep looking for ADRs. Sometimes some of the most popular restaurants ('Ohana, Chef Mickeys, Le Cellier) have open times closer to time to go.

Thank you for the advice! Of course now that I check again Cape May is no longer available lol. I will keep checking every day, if not I'm sure he'll like these restaurants okay too.

You could try walking up when those restaurants open up to see if they can work you in. Garden Grill is so much fun!!!!!!

Keep trying for the places you want. I FINALLY got an 'Ohana reservation for our September trip after trying for weeks :cool1:. Patience and persistence paid off!

Thank you, that's very encouraging, I am definately going to continue trying for those reservations. Even if we don't get them I know we'll have a great time, but I'm glad to hear that people have had success when they stick to it :)

Keep trying on those character meals! My favorite character breakfasts are...
-1900 Park Fare
-'Ohana
-Crystal Palace

Do a search on this thread for t-Rex. Disney does not open many ADR's. But there is a phone number floating around to call T-rex direct to get ADR's. I did this for my August Trip awhile back since there was nothing available online. I got the time I wanted on the day I wanted. Try searching. And keep trying for those character meals. Cape May is great for breakfast. The character interaction was unbelievable when we went in January for my DD4 B-day. My son who was about 15 months at that time loved every minute of it. The characters loved him too. We had an 8am reservation and there was hardly anyone in there. It started to fill up at 9ish. Less people in there means the characters will hang out. Minnie and Goofy was around when the CM's sang her Happy Birthday and they played with her to eat her cupcake etc... It was awesome.
