Thoughts on MNSSHP Itinerary?

Hi all, it's our family's first time at MNSSHP so I want to make sure that I have a great game plan for the party. It's myself, my hubbie, my two daughter's-- almost 5 years old and 11 months at the time of our trip.

My 5 year old has no issue with late nights normally. My 11 month old can hang up to a certain point, but will fall asleep in the stroller when she's done.

We are going to Mk in the morning to have breakfast at CRT, ride a few rides, and then head back to the hotel around 1:00pm to rest. We may grab a late lunch/early dinner at the Poly where we are staying or order room service.

I am hoping to get back to the park around 4-4:30. We have a FP for 7DMT for 4:50-5:50.

4-5:30pm ride some rides and use 7DMT FP

5:30pm-- I am going to get in line for Jake and Sally with my 11 month old. DH may take DD4 on some other rides while we're waiting-- hoping that we will be done with Jack and Sally by 7:30-- is this realistic?

7:45-- secure a spot to watch the first parade, Celebrate the Magic and Hallowishes. I want to do the first parade because I'm not so sure that my kids be in the mood for the latter parade. I also want to be able to see the Hocus Pocus stage show. Is there a good spot to be able to see all of these things?

10-11 Trick or Treating, attend one of the dance parties-- DD loves to dance , ride Haunted Mansion, see 7 dwarves if the line isn't too long, other characters if time permits

It's possible that you will be done with Jack and Sally by 730, but you may want to get in line earlier to ensure that you are. We lined up around 4:30-5 last year and were done by 7:30-8. It's a fun line to wait in - you get to see everybody coming in to the park in their costumes.

I like to watch the parade from Frontierland and the fireworks from New Fantasyland. Sounds like you'd rather be in front of the castle, though. I think you need to find seats pretty early to be there.

7 Dwarfs will have a long line all night, even late. Haunted Mansion will as well - you could try getting a FP for it.

FPs arn't available during party time, correct?

7 Dwarves arn't a must see for us-- just a nice to see. From what I've heard you need to choose between them and Jack and Sally, and J&S are def a bigger priority.

That's correct, but you could get one before the party starts. It's just an idea, though - I think the line tends to be around 30-45 minutes during the partry so not totally unreasonable. Make sure you get your Magic Shot with the Hitchhiking Ghosts - they are always really fun pictures!

We've met Jack and Sally and the Dwarfs at the same party so it's doable, but probably not recommended - unless you don't mind spending a large portion of your time waiting. Doesn't hurt to check out their line throughout the night, though.
