It would be
safer to get take out and
sit in the middle of the parade route.
We were given a table near the door where the servers enter the room. NOT kidding... I was bumped in the head by their serving trays several times! The first couple of times it happened, we were appalled, since no one stop to apologize. When it happened again, we just cracked up. By the time it happened it AGAIN, we were practically rolling on the floor.

My son, who was facing the door and could see the servers coming, would yell "DUCK" as they came through the door. This was
2008, We still remember it... we still laugh about it.
We considered asking to be moved to a different table, but it was quite late, the place was mobbed and we had waited a long time, even with an ADR. DH offered to switch places with me, but he's bigger than I am, so he would surely be more in the way. The kids offered, too, but I didn't want any of them to get hurt.
It's a pretty restaurant.
It's a loud restaurant, especially when glass shattered on the floor, (probably when the tray bounced off my head.)
It's is one of DD, then 18, favorites.
The rest of our family of 7 thought the food was okay - good.
I was not injured.
We didn't complain, but we weren't impressed with the service, either.
