Thoughts on Fairfax Fare?

Hello Dis World!

I'm in the awkward hotel and tickets are booked, too soon to make dining reservations, park hours aren't out yet phase of planning! While snooping around menus to see where DH and I could try that is new to us I stumbled across Fairfax Fare. There were a couple items that sounded really good but I know that sounds really good and are really good can be two polar opposites at Disney!

Has anyone eaten here recently? What were your thoughts on the food? I know it is Quick Service so I'm not looking for a 5-Star review but was just wondering if it is a decent option for when you get tired of burgers and chicken nuggets.

TIA :-)

We ate there a few years ago and it was decent food. Not high gourmet or anything, but a solid meal. It was plenty of food for me and my 9yo ds to share. We have not been back since though, simply because we haven't spent enough time in HS to need a meal. That being said, the menu has completely changed and no longer appeals to me besides the raspberry vodka lemonade

Thanks for the response! We haven't spent all that much time in HS either which is why I think I kept overlooking it. A solid meal is really all we would be looking for so that is good to hear!

I had one of the new bowls in November and it was really good. I would say it was at least a tad above Taco Bell's bowls. The empanadas looked good too, but the bowl was what I was craving at the time.

The bowl is what caught my eye haha. Craving it was why I wanted to ask. Better than sitting here for 8 months thinking about a dish that ends up being terrible when I have it!

I ate their in August - had the empanadas platter. It was plenty of food, good, fresh and not too greasy. I would get eat there again for sure. :-)

We have always liked it, but in January it was exceptional!! We loved the new menu, and went back twice for the bowls!!!

The new bowls are great I think. A nice different option. Hopefully the menu stays around.

Yum thanks for the heads up on these Bowls! didnt know mexican was on the menu there. We usually do Backlot express, but will try this in April!

I has the Fairfax salad last May and it was really good and filling. I couldn't finish it. It was similar to a McDonald's Southwest Salad, but better and with pulled pork instead of chicken. It was nice to have a salad that wasn't just another grilled chicken ceaser. My son had the empanadas, he liked them.
