We have ADR's for Citricos on Easter Sunday and are very excited. We were just curious to hear about other experiences DISers have had here.

TIA

Probably the best meal we've had on property to date. And we've eaten at quite a few nicer places. The filet was the best I've ever tasted, I didn't want it to end.

Though we try to not repeat restaurants, we'll be back just for the filet. I've tried steak at other WDW restaurants and there was no comparison.

Hope it's great for y'all!

Interesting about the filet, might have to go for that. I had it @ Jiko and thought it was amazing there.

I think it is one of the best kept secrets at WDW. Have eaten here 4 times and always have had a great meal

I like the warm onion tart appetizer - it's like an onion quiche.

I have always been Citricos' biggest fan. I ate there on Thursday and I had a bit of a shock. Chef Gray, the man who turned the place around and who was my personal God, is no longer there. This was my face when I found out..  :scared: :faint:

It seems that he is moving to Narcooses in 2 weeks and the Narcooses chef is now at Citricos.

The food was stil the best I had this trip but overall, Napa Rose at the Grand Californian maintains its #1 status over Citricos for the first time. Some of the better items are gone: Fois Gras Raviolli, rack of lamb, duck breast and while the dishes are very good - nothing made me cry.

Don't get me wrong, I am just spoiled rotten with Chef Gray. When I return next April we will be running over to Narcooses.

I would still go. The food is still good and if they haven't messed with it, the onion tart is one of the best appitizers.
