Our whole family saw it and really liked it. We would rate it ahead of Monsters, but behind TS and TS2. And that puts it in a very big leage with us. Very good job indeed Pixar/Disney.
I took DH and the kids to see Nemo for Fathers Day. How appropriate! We all loved it! By the way, Brother Bear looks wonderful. It has a spiritual feel to it, being that the hunter is turned into the hunted.
I also found Nemo average. Don't get me wrong it is a great family movie that appeals to a wide audience. It just isnt as great as Pixar's other films. But thats just one man's opinion.
We saw it twice at WDW, at the AMC in Downtown Disney. We're home, and DD 12 and DH went to see it again on Father's Day. Obviously, we loved it. We may have to see it again though, because DD doesn't quite have all the dialogue memorized. She's been doing dead-on impressions of the characters, her whale and turtle are pretty funny. At least she isn't doing the French Maid from Adventurer's Club anymore (except that's now her career ambition). Diana
I unfortunately also thought it was mediocre at best. Actually, if it hadn't been for the art I don't think it would even be worth much more than a straight to video release.
Maybe I'm being too critical, but with a history like Monsters Inc and Toy Story, it was a real let down.
That art truly did amaze me though.
My telling moment...about mid movie when ds7 yawned and said "Is this the longest movie they ever made?"
Didn't see the need to kill everyone off in the beginning, but I never understand that.
As far as the credits, we stayed. Yes it was cute, but certainly not worth going back to see the whole movie again. See Monsters instead, Mikes funnier there!
Loved it! Especially the guessing game - "I'm thinking of something. It's orange, and it's small..." Hysterical. And the animation was stunning. Can't wait for it to hit DVD.

And when Dory was talking to the whales.................................too funny. I generally don't care for Ellen Degeneres, but Dory was the funniest thing in the movie.
Anyone else have the complete happy meal collection - we got the last ones we neeeded last night. The Dory toy speaks whale.
