Thoughts From My Trip...

We just came back last week from a two week trip to the World, here are some of our thoughts.

Crowds were managable. MK always seemed busy when we were there, but not crazy crowded, if that makes sense. Epcot was very crowded on one of the Mondays we were there, but other than that Epcot, the Studios, and AK weren't very crowded at all.

Most people were nice, there were several rude guests, and one rude CM. The guests that stand out as being rude were both at MK, one at the 3:00 parade, and the other at the castle stage show. Both times we got there early, and both times they wanted to push in front. The 3:00 was especially rude because they didn't block me, they blocked DD who's three and tiny. The stage show was just annoying because even though they backed off, they were making loud comments behind us on how their kids couldn't see. Sorry, not sorry, you shouldn't have shown up five minutes before the show when we'd been waiting half an hour. The one rude CM just snapped at us when we were trying to get from BBB to the shop for pictures. He told us we had to go around through Liberty Square instead of just walking twenty feet from where we were to the shop. And he didn't tell us this, he yelled us this.

Food was great. We didn't have one bad meal, and most were really good to awesome.

The new Soarin video is great. I still haven't decided which one I like better, but after ten years it was a nice change. Frozen was good, DD didn't like it though. The new stage show is cute, though I preferred Dream Along with Mickey. The Star Wars fireworks are amazing! We didn't really care for the safari at night. It was just too dark to really see anything.

We stayed at Pop, and that was as good as always.

The transportation was really good this trip. There was only one time we had to really wait for a bus, and that wasn't even that long of a wait, and was at park closing so was expected.

If anyone has any questions let me know.

Nice report! I was also in the parks during that same two-week period. The crowds weren't too bad in Epcot and AK. We enjoyed MK after a downpour downed FOF and many guests left.

Although there were a lot of animals out during our night safari, they only could briefly be viewed when the headlight beams passed over them. Then it was listening to a lengthy description when only dark objects were in the distance.

Did you leave well in advance of all the hurricane preparations?

Agree about the Safari at night. Was a let down for us. Noticeably fewer animals out, and harder to see anything. The only cool part were the lions walking around in plain sight. That hadn't happened in the previous 5+ times we've done the safari.
