I got a call about 6:45 this morning from my best friends' husband. My best friend, T, left their house this morning about 4:00 and has not been heard from since. T has had some pretty serious emotional issues this past 1-2 years especially since the birth of her 2nd son early last year. I am EXTREMELY worried about her and I am really afraid that she might do something to hurt herself. Her husband was really hoping she would head this way (I am about 2 hours away from where they live) especially since she recently had a big fight with her family and he really doubts she would head there.
We have left voice messages on her phone and I left her a note on my front door begging her to call. Now I am trying to work while desperately waiting for the phone to ring.
Any prayers or thoughts you have to spare would be great appreciated.

She is back home but she is not talking at all. She will not say a word to anyone. I am still really worried about her but I feel so much better that she is at least physically safe. Her DH is not going to leave her alone for the time being. He is going to try to get her in to see her doctor but he thinks she will resist like she has in the past. He did say he may need my help with that later but for right now he wants to give her a little bit of space. I still feel pretty helpless with the whole situation and I can only pray that I can help her to the best of my ability. I really feel at this point she needs to check herself in to an in-patient facility for a few days but I know she will never willingly go and I don't think we can force her.
Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers...they really meant a lot to me.

Good thoughts.
I hope your best friend just needs some time to get away and think...and everything is ok! I have a friend that took off, went to a hotel and just wanted to be alone and have some time to sort her feelings out. I hope your friend just needs some time as well. Good luck and I hope you hear from her soon
They were planning on going on vacation this upcoming week and her DH mentioned that if he ended up staying home today and/or tomorrow that he would have to work Friday and Saturday when they had planned to be on vacation. I am sure she convinced him to go on in to work so they would not have to change their plans. I can't believe he left her at home with her kids this afternoon!
