Thoughts about Kouzinna?

What did you think about Kouzzina? Having 2nd thoughts now.

we did not like it much...but we went shortly after it officially opened last year (not during the soft opening...was after that) We had terrible service -- foods all came out at different times, server appeared to forget various components of our meal (for instance, we ordered coffee...she delivered cups/saucers/cream/sugar about 5 minutes later. And no coffee. We waited & waited for that coffee.) Desserts were brought out one at a time over a 10 minute stretch...none of them were specialty orders - just straight off the menu. We found the food to be over-salted, and we like salt!

Allears rate & review rates it in the 6s (out of 10 possible) which is not that good, but obviously some people like it.

We ate there for the first time last month and it was the best meal we had the whole trip! DH and I both cleaned our plates! We had an ADR but still had a little wait and I thought the restaurant itself was very cold inside BUT those were the only minor complaints. Our server was wonderful and the food was soooo delicious!

I found the menu very limited and nothing special.I wouldn't say I won't eat there again but the food just wasn't the best.On a positive note I found the servers extremely friendly.

We ate there in June. We had excellent food. The whole family loved it. I would say go for it!

We ate dinner there last September and really enjoyed our meal. We liked it so much we came back to try their breakfast on our last day. That was FANTASTIC as well.

We ate there for the first time last December and really enjoyed it. I always say try it for yourself to see if you like it.

Ate here in March and enjoyed it very much. I had the Fisherman Stew, Yummy. DH had the Cinnamon Roasted Chicken. We had very good service.

I know this restaurant get lots of negative reviews, lots of it is because of poor service. That would not deter me from returning but if it happened again I would speak to the management explaining how it has happened more then once. The Dining Plan has helped Disney to fill it restaurants, but at what cost to it guest.

I've only had poor service once it all my trip, I can't complain too much because the food was very good. It happened a few years ago at Artist Point.

I really liked it. I thought the pork chop I had was excellant, and then at breakfast, the waffle was yummy.

I'm planning on eating there next trip as well.

We ate there less than two weeks ago.

The service was excellent.

The food was quite good as well. However, we are very adventurous diners. The food here was quite authentic, and heavily seasoned. While we enjoyed this restaurant, I can see why others would and have not.

We (4 adults) dined here in May. My husband enjoyed his meal, my son and his friend both thought theirs were okay (but said they would not return here), I absolutely hated mine. I'm very adenturous and went with the server's recommendation and it was inedible--I think the first time in my 50+ years I've had that experience!!!

Also, we were seated almost an hour after our ADR of 7:00 pm and the service was slow.

I've dined at all but about 5 TS on property and Kouzzina is now ranked 3rd from the bottom. I'll try it again but probably not for a few trips.

Thank you everyone. We like unusual foods so I am not concerned about that. After seeing the 6 out of 10 it freaked me out. I'm looking forward to again in a couple of weeks. Thanks!

We love to try new foods and restaurants and will probably give this another chance but were very disappointed on our first trip here. Rushed through meal, food not great, server on the verge of rude...believe me,we're not that hard to please.

Will give it another try and then decide.

We will be there in 7 days and I don't let the reviews worry me.

The only thing you can say for sure about any restaurant is that some people will like the food and some won't. Oh, and that some people will have great service and some won't.

We just ate there Wed. and it was really really good. The appetizers were really good - had the hummus, dips and pitas, and one other that I can't remember. DH had the lamb, DD and I had the lasagna, and DS had a sampler that was a small lasagna, a lamb burger, and chicken. Everything was wonderful. We had been last year when it first opened and really enjoyed it then. We will definitely return on our next trip.
