So can you still access all the videos? I referred my husband and he can't get any ncraves since they kicked me out.

As well I could before. I usually have to log out/log in, close the browser, restart the computer, etc before nCraves comes back. And I get a lot of 'unavailable' videos... makes it annoying to complete the To Do list cuz I'll pick a video, it's gets setup and just about the play and then it redirects back to SB and says sorry that video's unavailable. Then it'll redirect back to the video page and it'll only have the same 5 videos in the News & Politics section. So I've got 2 that I alternate playing each day But that's being doing that to both of us since sometime in the first week we joined. Today I actually got a new video in addition to those 5 and I'm shocked it worked. Happens every once in a while, and when it works I watch several cuz I never know when it'll come back.

nCraves was working this morning but I stopped it to try some surveys, now I'll have to restart the PC to get it back looks like. But everything seems like before so at this point I don't think I'm affected.

I'm really very disappointed with the deactivation. This is the first time he's ever been interested in stuff like this and because things were crediting so well for him I thought he'd stick with it for a while. I had asked him to keep an eye out for things we could do to get discounts on our trip and someone at work somehow got him onto SB (wasn't a referral) so without me even knowing he looked into it, signed up for it, and sent me a referral link.... usually it's me who initiates this stuff so I was just so moved that he was trying to help out. Now he's totally soured on it. I'm hoping we get it straightened out and he's reactivated but I'm sure he won't engage with it as much... where's the incentive if they can just without warning shut you down? I think that's the part that's the most annoying, if they thought he was violating something shouldn't they give you a warning so you can correct the behavior?

I really hope you guys can get it sorted out and get a reasoning. When I was reading on Reddit some peple mentioned the ToS but did not clarify what people might have violated. I also read that swagbucks also accidentally IP bans sometimes. It seems like they're not a very together company.

I don't blame your husband for being put off, I would be too. I know I'd be the same way because I got all excited about helping make some extra money and now I'm paranoid they'll just deactivate my account randomly.

I also just did a survey and spent about 10 mins on it and made it 30% through the survey (it had a status bar) then it said I wasn't qualified. That is really annoying and a seemingly deceptive way to get information without rewarding us for our time.


That is scary that they can seemingly randomly deactivate your account. It has happened to me in the past, I think twice. They did reactivate me when I explained the issue which was that DH and I both logged into our accounts on the same computer. This set them off. When they restored my account, all my SB were there.

The apps are not working, the ncraves are hard to get, SB is making it a real challenge to get points. Thankfully I got 2 surveys today.

I just completed a survey (first one in a while) but I gave up on the videos. I ran a bunch yesterday and after three rounds of various playlists, each saying "Thanks for enGaging, You've earned 2 SB", I managed a total of 2 SB...only one of the three lists actually credited. So I am giving up on the videos. I never get AYCE, the Happy Hour always says not available and none of the auto-runs actually auto-run for me. I've stuck to shopping and surveys.

DH runs a few videos because his apparently still work OK and he does one survey a day. Hopefully, this will not deactivate either of us. I am going to WDW in October and my goal was to have $600 in "free" gift cards. I'm currently $150 short, but since I have 8800 SB in my account, I will be able to cash out in Jul/Aug/Sep/Oct for a total of $100. I work all weekend so I will have a "SwagBreak" so hopefully they will leave me alone. DH has been saving up his SB's and cashing in for Wal-Mart. He uses his earnings towards his hunting supplies, and even though he prefers Cabela's, he figures he can always use the Wal-Mart gift cards to buy discounted Cablela's gift cards at Sam's Club.

Thanks for all you've shared! Do you have any tips for getting these to credit? I'm only about a month into SBs and these odd Discover offers confuse me. Out of all you posted, I only got about half to credit. Or is that typical?

I went yesterday to Target and about $450 in Disney GCs that we paid $14 out of pocket for! I learned that there is a $500 a day limit on any GC purchase at Target. I did self checkout and had no problems with using Target GCs to buy the Disney GCs

I don't know that they enforce that 100%, but it's definitely good to point out in case folks plan to get a bunch in one stop right before leaving for vacation. I know that I went and got at least $600 worth right before my last trip in one stop. I paid with a Target RedCard, not GC, and went through the normal checkout and the cashier didn't have any issues. Better safe than sorry and try to space out your purchases if you do need to exchange a lot at once though.

I found a couple insurance related offers on Acorn this morning for 6 SBs that only require entering a ZIP. They may be stragglers that I missed before, because I've been seeing a lot of those pointed out lately but I think for only 4 SB each.

THanks for posting about the incognito. I have been able to use it and find that I am able to get ncraves to show up. It doesn't always last as long as I would like, but it is better than nothing.

I had lots of the insurance offers on Adgate, Adscend, and Acorn. Most credited. Also got the Excedrin offer (8sb) on Acorn to credit.

On the Home page under Discover Special Offers and Earn, there was one with an animated polar bear that said Save up to 80% on Hotels! It's a click and earn 5sb.

ETA: There was also an Acorn offer that credited that was like, Register here! for 12sb. Ended up taking me to sign up for a Disney vacation planning video

These are interesting. After the Target gift card sale last December, I purchased $900 of Disney gift cards all with Target gift cards in one transaction. Last summer, I stopped at Target two different times and each time bought about $700 of Disney gift cards with my Redcard (that was before I got back on swagbucks ) Inconsistency is the name of the game?
