I buy phones on ebay that have bad esn numbers (which means they can't be activated on the carrier network) I get them for under $10 .

Any of the Samsung galaxy s through galaxy 5 will work. Of course the older phones are cheaper. The htc evo also works very well. The keyocera hydro is only $40 at Walmart but you can get them used for under $10 on ebay also. Its a newer phone.

I couldn't find any good ones, so I am wondering, too. I did find used phones for $20 on Amazon that I might use my rewards from perk to buy and try out.

Look for a model . Say you want the keyocera hydro . Type that in with bad esn afterwards. Or just search the model of phone and look for the discriptions . I just won 2 the other day that had bad esn numbers for a total of 22 bucks after shipping

Looks like starting tomorrow when your gift card is ready you'll have to click a link and then enter your password to gain access to your gift card. The email is only active for 24 hours from the time it's sent so if you miss your deadline you will have to request a new one. They haven't answered if this applies to paypal cashouts or not. I've only ever asked for paypal so I don't know what the normal procedure is.

I would suggest that you make sure when you buy phones for swagbucks, you go ahead and get one that is running Andriod 4.0. Most people do both swagbucks and perk and you need a 4.0 for perk so might as well buy the right phones now.

Target is running a special on the Kryocera Event for $19.99 and you pick up a $15 entertainment gift card (most of the $15 cards they carry work so you choose). The gift card is free.

that is a good deal. Although with the apps now requiring 15 videos for 2 swag points your not going to really have time in the day to switch over to perktv.

Honestly, I run Perk on my extra phones and swag apps on my actual phone. i don't max out every day, but Perk runs more consistently w/o stopping and adds faster than Swagbucks do. I can earn approx. $5 if I run Perk TV all day on 5 devices. I can only earn $3.66 if I run all the swag apps.

I run Perk on 5 devices as is ok per their rules and run Swagbucks on my Andriod 2.something version phone that won't run perk. I don't try to max out any more, but if you use the favorites on SwagTV and Entertainow, it will max out before 5 p.m. At that point, when I get home from work, my son uses my phone for his swagbuck account. (His phone runs perk, so he has his own account there). We make about $10 per day between our two accounts. He lives at home, so he gives me his gift cards towards groceries, etc.

Awesome! I just got home with my new phone! I already have the max devices running perk, so I am going to set this up with a Sawgbucks app... if I can figure it out!

I can't speak for others, but I joined Perk on 9/12 and I just redeemed for another $5 Target GC. This will be my 4th one since joining. I figured that I might as well jump on this gravy train before it leaves the station. You never know how long a program like this will be able to keep paying out.

Thanks for the update. I do wonder, however, what the point is of adding more apps when they have made the current ones so difficult to max that it is impossible to do it in one day and still stay within their stated rules.

They never state outright you can only use one phone. They walk a thin line with their wording, presumably to encourage us to keep doing what we are doing and keeping advertisers appeased at the same time.

I kind of think they are gunning for Perk. Every app they add is less time I have to run perk, but the sb rate is always better so they win, at perks loss.

What are their stated rules? I have always used both my iphone and ipad. I just added an android phone to the mix. Is that breaking rules somehow?

I just might have to start using my old android for Swagbucks, with all then new apps. But the phone is so prone to freezing already, I am not Swagbucks would even work.
