Those using swagbucks ???

I have an iphone and I don't get verizon ads either..mine gets stuck on united health care add.

To answer the Verizon issue: I have an iPhone 5 on AT&T. I've been able to shut down the app and then re-launch and I've been fine. It's just I have to catch it or notice it when it does it. Very odd.

I know this is a Swagbucks group but several of you have talked about Perks (which I have been doing for 2 weeks now) so I thought I'd throw this in here. I had two $5 Target requests cancelled and they have flagged two of my accounts. One was my husbands and the other mine. I know you can run several devices on one account (which we aren't even doing) and I know you can have several (is it 5?) accounts per household. One is clearly in my husband's name - all his info and the other mine (and my DS has one too but we haven't cashed his out in a few days). I don't understand what we violated and it just said the fraud detection picked it up. I've emailed them to ask why and surely it wasn't intentional but now I'm afraid to use them after all that work to lose $10 in gift cards already.

I'll keep you posted if I learn anything and curious if this has happened with anyone else already?

Thanks,
Heather

MightyMascot -- worth 5SB for the next hour or so

And a HUGE thanks to whoever mentioned EntertainNow -- meeting my daily swagbucks goal is so easy now, between SB TV and EntertaiNow, I'm meeting it daily with very little effort. Then moving my devices over to PerkTV.

I've been reading that running the apps over and over can cause a lot of "junk" data which accumulates into a bloated cache. This can cause the apps /ads to freeze and slow down. Also causing your device to become sluggish. Easy to fix, clean out the data cache using an app such: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.cache&hl=en

Or another suggestion I read was to remove the app and reinstall.

Other actions that people have reported to help keep SBTV and EntertaiNow apps from freezing up is to lock the device's orientation into portrait. Don't lay the screen face down or cover the photometer (not all devices have this.)

However, none of this will help for the pop up ads of which require us to manually hit the X to close out.

Hopefully it's just a mistake. You should be getting an email back similar to the following, "Thank you for emailing Perk Customer Support. Our fraud detection software has found your account in violation of our Terms of Service. Your account has been suspended and your rewards have been cancelled. It is against our Terms of Service to: (and then they will give you the reason.)

It might have to do with the three accounts in your household which is not against the TOS. You might need to prove there are actual people for these accounts by showing identifications for each person. If this is the case, it was their software that flagged you and they just want to make sure everything is legit. There are a ton of people out there trying to cheat so they have to be a little strict. But from what I've been reading, the Perk costumer service are good folk and will work with you to resolve an issue.

So just wait for their reply and move forward from their. If you are following the TOS then you shouldn't have any problem getting your rewards and accounts legitimized.

Best of luck and hope this gets sorted out quickly so that you can jump back in soon! Keep us posted!

On an Android phone, you can also go into the app manager and clear the cache; I also do a force stop if I'm clearing the cache. I do that whenever an app starts to app funky and it usually clears it up. If you clear the data, you will have to log in again. Sometimes that's not a bad thing, depending on how the app is acting.

Good to know! Does it have a way to set it to do it on a timer such as ever three days?

I'm never going to reach my goal today, that Verizon ad is stuck on both apps!

It's funny how all the accounts get fed different opportunities each day.

I got a whole string of those "Interact with this ad" things at 4SB each this morning. It was an advertisement for some Lifetime Channel show. I'm not sure how many I had but I know that I was up into the 40's while still on my first cup of coffee and then the Swagbucks TV APP had my goal met by the time I was out of the shower.

And I still haven't seen a Verizon Ad. From the sound of it, I hope I never do.

I just started seeing the Verizon ad the last few days and yes it is a pain!

Every time I see and click on those interact with this ad things they say no longer available!

I just got it the last 2 days as well. Annoying!!!

Thank you :)

Yes, that is essentially what they sent to each of us and asked for a government ID to basically prove we each live here. I'm assuming a drivers license would suffice but I'm not sure I'm okay with them having that? Perhaps I'm being paranoid or just a little ticked really :) I think kids can have at 13/14 so what would a teenager send in to prove he/she lives in the same house? I decided to "cool off" for a few days and then take it from there. I've put more time in Swagbucks and the TV apps running but I do think Perk TV ran smoother and earned points quicker.

I did read on another forum when I was trying to see if this happened to others (and it has - also husband and wife) that if you log into too many devices, somehow that picks up as another IP address but that just seems so "testy" to me as you are allowed to run the same account on several devices which we were not doing but were allowed to.

Again thanks and I'll keep you posted on if I send something in and how it works.

Heather

Yup, a drivers license would be perfect. I'm pretty sure it's okay to cover your license # if that helps. Not sure what would work for your son. Maybe a student ID and let them know he's your son age (over 13.)

Is it just me? I don't seem to qualify for any of the surveys. Oddly, the one I qualified for when I reached the end I got a message stating I did not qualify. Sent an email a couple days ago and did not here back.

I am also having trouble playing videos on my iPad. Videos pause, I hit play every so many seconds. Sometimes I can't restart the video. I sent an email & got a timely response. But they could not repeat the problem. I've cleared my cookies & history. Still having problems, even if I run the videos through the App. My iPhone works great (except for when I get the Verizon ad).

You probably won't. You can be disqualified from a survey for anything. 100 question survey, and you get to the 100 question, hit submit/next and they don't like the answer.....disqualified. Happened to me more times that I care to remember.

I gave up doing them in general. Not worth the time to me.
