I've been reading that running the apps over and over can cause a lot of "junk" data which accumulates into a bloated cache. This can cause the apps /ads to freeze and slow down. Also causing your device to become sluggish. Easy to fix, clean out the data cache using an app such:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.cache&hl=en
Or another suggestion I read was to remove the app and reinstall.
Other actions that people have reported to help keep SBTV and EntertaiNow apps from freezing up is to lock the device's orientation into portrait. Don't lay the screen face down or cover the photometer (not all devices have this.)
However, none of this will help for the pop up ads of which require us to manually hit the X to close out.
I know this is a Swagbucks group but several of you have talked about Perks (which I have been doing for 2 weeks now) so I thought I'd throw this in here. I had two $5 Target requests cancelled and they have flagged two of my accounts. One was my husbands and the other mine. I know you can run several devices on one account (which we aren't even doing) and I know you can have several (is it 5?) accounts per household. One is clearly in my husband's name - all his info and the other mine (and my DS has one too but we haven't cashed his out in a few days). I don't understand what we violated and it just said the fraud detection picked it up. I've emailed them to ask why and surely it wasn't intentional but now I'm afraid to use them after all that work to lose $10 in gift cards already.
I'll keep you posted if I learn anything and curious if this has happened with anyone else already?
Thanks,
Heather
Hopefully it's just a mistake. You should be getting an email back similar to the following, "Thank you for emailing Perk Customer Support. Our fraud detection software has found your account in violation of our Terms of Service. Your account has been suspended and your rewards have been cancelled. It is against our Terms of Service to: (and then they will give you the reason.)
It might have to do with the three accounts in your household which is not against the TOS. You might need to prove there are actual people for these accounts by showing identifications for each person. If this is the case, it was their software that flagged you and they just want to make sure everything is legit. There are a ton of people out there trying to cheat so they have to be a little strict. But from what I've been reading, the Perk costumer service are good folk and will work with you to resolve an issue.
So just wait for their reply and move forward from their. If you are following the TOS then you shouldn't have any problem getting your rewards and accounts legitimized.
Best of luck and hope this gets sorted out quickly so that you can jump back in soon! Keep us posted!
