For shopping it can take several days, or weeks. I think the last one I did was like 30 days before it credited.

I purchased the Groupon deal (Starbucks) and was wondering the same thing. But, this morning I received an email from Swagbucks saying that my points were pending from my Groupon purchase. On the website you have to watch 10 (for 3SB). For the SBTV app it's 5(for 2SB). For EntertaiNow it's 10(For 2SB).
Occasionally there are videos on the front page or in your inbox that give you 1-5SB for watching.

Also you don't need to watch the full videos. On the site, it's usually about 40 seconds of the vid, just watch the marker, when it credits, move on to the next vid.
