Hopefully someone here can confirm a few of these for me!

At what stores can you use a gift card to buy another gift card (Disney)?

Coworker cashed out for a Lowe's $50 and went into the store to buy a Disney GC (which they sell apparently), couldn't do it. Computer system wouldn't let them.

Can this be done at Target? Sam's Club (using a Walmart GC)? She won't cash out Paypal and just use the cash, was scammed by them (and eBay) a few years ago out of quite a bit of money from a buyer. I guess if it had to come to it she would use Paypal but would rather not.

We are in Michigan if it helps (not sure if some states have laws about this). Thanks!

Thanks! I was hoping Walmart/Sam's was one of them. Seeing I need to do the same thing also for tips/spending money yet. I felt bad for her so I bought it from her (needed to buy more LED light bulbs anyway).

Sadly today SB stopped selling Southwest cards. Got a refund for my last card I needed today. Ended up cashing for Walmart instead. Hopefully it comes in soon so I can buy that last $100 SW card off samsclub.com

If you use Paypal you can always cash out for that and transfer it to your checking account and then you can use it for anything.

I am the same way. I will not give PayPal/eBay business, unless it is 100% the only way possible. Had problems with them in the past.

I'm back in business!!!! My surveys are working as of last night I missed out on a lot of points due to not being able to do the surveys. It was nice not seeing the error message on my dashboard.

I'm 85 points away from qualifying for $50

?- I'm shooting for paypal money. Do I have to report that money to IRS? If so than I might just go for giftcard :/ Or do the giftcards also have to be reported too?

I think someone mentioned theres no more southwest cards if so bummed about that.

If you earn over $600, they will send you a tax form regardless of how you get the money (PayPal or gift card). The codes vary, usually from 2-5 points each.

The IRS wants to know about all money you get, including rewards in the form of cash or giftcard. However, Swagbucks won't report unless you get $600 or more in a year (that is the IRS regulation).

Try getting Target cards, and using those to get Southwest cards. Or you can cash in for Paypal, and use that on Southwest!

You can cash in SB for Target giftcards which can in turn be used to buy Disney gift cards. Also if you have a Target Red Card and purchase the Disney cards online the 5% will come off the total amount of WDW giftcards purchased and not just the net paid with the red card as it does in the store. Hope that made sense............

Yep, it's definitely a store-by-store thing. I actually did this two days ago (used a bunch of $5 Target gift cards to by a $25 Groupon card). They *should* allow it since Southwest/Groupon/Disney cards aren't classified as gift cards (rather, entertainment cards), but some managers don't know that. I would just insist they try to scan them anyway - if they're accepted on the registers, they should be accepted by the manager.

When I checked my email yesterday afternoon I had a email stating they had noticed that I had ordered other $100 SW cards in the past and that the company they purchase from could not get them in stock so they could not deliver my latest order. They were sorry and I would be getting a full refund on my account.

Email also stated they were not sure if they would ever be in stock again.
