Those using Shopkick???

Shop kicks pissed me off today it was a 200 shop kick day. I made a special trip to get all the stores.

Shopkick send out messages and emails and posted on their Facebook page Friday afternoon that they messed up and the 200 shopkick day was Friday the 18th not Saturday the 19th. I was able to get a few of them on Friday but not as many as I would have gotten if it was Saturday.

I've earned enough for two $25 giftcards. How does this work?
If I pick the target giftcards do they email me a paper email with barcode to show target? With that paper do I have to get the target gift cards then with it buy the cards I want?? Or with paper do I get the dinner cards I want and pay by scanning paper barcode?

Or if I get the target cards can I use those at a later date to purchase dinner cards in the future? I'm new to email giftcards

When you redeem for the Target GC, they will appear within the shopkick app. You can use them at any time, either in store or online. Simply enter the information online or have your cashier scan the bar code. I suggest informing the employee you are paying with a gift card, I've had them try to add money to mine instead

I went on my phone and did the app search for target theres on 10 reviews and it has issues. Is there another target app? If I get the app it will store my egift cards right so when I decide to buy giftcards I just pay from the app? I feel so out of the loop with the egift cards. I don't really shop at target so the shop kicks $$ would be to buy gift cards for dinner or xmas giftcards


Dh has a question can he do the same thing at lowes and buy giftcards other than lowes at lowes?

Yes! I cashed in on Wednesday and I already have 1350 kicks and should get another 1000 today with the walk ins and added scans. Let's hope this continues!

I've noticed lately that when the weekend comes, the amount of scans/walk in kicks increase but by Sunday, there's hardly any again

No, there is no limit.

I went to Walmart on my lunch and I got everything to scan except the "all you" magazine. It kept saying the UPC didn't match. So I found another issue and tried it but no luck with that one either.

I went to walmart today and had several things I couldn't scan. Kept getting the msg the UPC didn't match. Plus there was nowhere to scan on the secret end cap for the 100 kicks. I was not very happy about it!!

I had the same problem with All You. I got a few scans but I was there getting juice for a sick child (who was with me) so I missed most of them.

Just got back from Walmart. I got my 150 walk in points but wasn't able to scan anything. Message said phone having connection issues :/

My friend & I just started today. We went to Walmart together, I was able to scan but my friend wasn't. Our Walmart didn't have half the stuff to scan but I got everything I could. I also had the problem with the "all you" mag.

My husband and I walked all over Walmart and we couldn't get it to register us. I did my scans at Target, but the all you magazine wouldn't work either!

I have the scan a fuel efficient ford for 1000 kicks today. My husband and I scanned every ford escape and fusion on the lot and couldn't get any kicks. Kept getting the msg that the barcode didn't match. I don't know what the trick to getting them is

I gave up on shop kick for exactly this reason. Scans wouldn't work or the store wouldn't have a product and I'd waste time scanning to not get any points. Then sometimes if have to stand in the entrance to the store for several minutes before it would register.

I just found the app to be more trouble than it was worth

I could not scan that All you magazine either. I have also never gotten an thing about scanning a car! Sorry it didn't work for you. I am getting tired of having a full or almost full signal and shop kicks telling me there is no connection. It is very frustrating but I am going to Target soon to get my $75 in free Disney gift cards when I cash in my Target cards! It is worth some of the hassle.
