Those using Shopkick???

This app updated a little over a week ago, and it's been driving me NUTS! It alerts a LOT, and it's usually always an ad to check something out! I think I'll try to find a GC I can use my points for and then delete the app. Good Grief!

I used to use shopkick, until they started the constant updates and changes. I got tired of having to relearn the app after every update and got rid of it.

I invited a couple friend who started using shopkick. Today I noticed I have a "friend" who I did not invite. How did I become "friends" with this person? Yes. Today I only have 3 items at Target, 2 at Carter's and the 3 pairs of shoes at Kohl's.

I did notice that Best Buy and Old Navy are slated for 200 walk in kicks on Saturday. They are close by each other for me!

I also had 6 or 7 people that showed up on my app as invited that I did not know. One joined and I got about 30 kicks from them but that's it...lol I don't know.

As to the other one with "friends", do you have that person or their husband listed as a contact in your phone? I noticed this issue when I still had an ex listed in my phone contacts (I don't erase ANYONE so I know who might be calling!) and he showed up as one of my friends. This is our only contact as we are not FB friends anymore.

I just went ahead and deleted this stupid app. I had almost 2000 points, but the constant updates were driving me bananas, and it was draining my phone battery like crazy.

I have enough for two $25 giftcards. I was thinking of getting target cards so I can buy other gift cards they carry. I know many of you like buying the Disney cards with the target gift cards. I will probably buy dinner giftcards. I wish target carried carnival cruise giftcards-lol! Iwouldnt mind getting southwest gift card but don't think target carries those

I am worried I am bring throttled though because there are not nearly as many scans as when I started 2 weeks ago. Anyone else noticing that?

I am a bit annoyed though because there are not many items to scan at the moment. I hope they bring that back up soon. I guess I have to do some walk-ins at the mall today when I pass it.

Yes there are not as many scans as before.

I am glad that Walmart was added as a Walk-in. I don't do nearly as much with the app as others. I have never scanned items, I have only gotten walk-in.

A bunch of stores have 200 kicks for walking in today. Three of which are in the same shopping center here! Hopefully this will mean higher scan kicks this weekend too!

Yes! I am looking forward to hitting JCP, Best Buy and Old Navy for 200 each today and then Best Buy and Old Navy for the same tomorrow. Easy way to add $4 to my total without too much effort!

Mine carries Southwest cards. They are only in $50 increments and there is a limit to how many forms of payment you can use when booking

Our Target doesn't carry SW cards in store but you can order from target.com, pay with giftcards and get the 5% off if you log in to the account linked to your red card. I do this, each card ends up 47.50, gets free shipping and saves me the gas/time to go pick up. They usually arrive in about three days.

I always open the app before I get into the store and it recognizes me when I enter. The app offers the hint to stand under a speaker in the store as that is how the signal is wirelessly delivered. However, I have yet to get it at Walmart since they started. I wonder if my area just doesn't have it yet. That is the only problem I ever have getting it.

I used to feel uncomfortable just going in and out of the store, but then when I started actually talking to the employees about it, most of them didn't even know it existed and got really excited that they could earn points just for being at work.

I can't get it to recognize jcpenney. I work there and it would be nice to get kicks for going into work. I use to be able to get it to work at walmart but not anymore. My co worker downloaded it and she can get it to work at jcp. I have a iphone and she has a droid. Any ideas why she can and I can't?

Try a hard reset of your phone (press and hold power and home button until the apple appears) 98% of the time this will fix the problem. If not, I'd contact support.

Shop kicks pissed me off today it was a 200 shop kick day. I made a special trip to get all the stores. Of course I got that message Houston we have a problem even tho I showed full bars. I got the message that I would get the kicks later after walking into three of the stores I only got credit for one walk in! I sent in an email but I doubt I will hear anything. Also the lack of scanning for kicks is bad too. Then so often I get that same message about no internet connection when I am in a store.
Also I don't understand what the yes means either when the envelope pops open. I feel like we should be getting something else if we get a yes. I am getting really frustrated with this app and I don't think the developers care I am about ready to get rid of it. I have already earned target gift cards and really wanted more but unless they fix these issues I am done.

All the other stores worked fine but not there. And many days when I open the app for the first time of the day i get a circle that says your daily kick check back tomorrow without it adding a kick. ::: :::

I get the same thing, I don't get daily kicks, just a recognition that I opened the app. Every few days I get 1 kick or sometimes 3 kicks for opening the app. I am getting really annoyed that they don't have that many scans lately!

I also have no problems walking into a store and out again. Sometimes I just do a quick loop through so it doesn't look strange, but if no one is at the front of the store, I just go in, get my kicks, then leave. My DD is into helping me do my kicks and gets excited when it rings them up.
