I downloaded the app....I invited a few friends....I've gone to one store for a walkin....I've opened the white envelopes....What does YESSS mean with the envelopes??? Any other ways to earn points?

The way I received kicks was by scanning items on the list. Is when u walk into target their will be several items on the list that if u find in the store you scan with your phone. Sometimes they have scavenger hunt where u need to find everything on the list to get extra kicks. Not sure about yes but the white envelope I think is the goal you set for your gift card. If you recently signed up you may have a promo card for a few dollars...that expires quickly so don't loose sight of it.

I was HUGE into shopkick last year. Earned a bunch of Target cards that I traded in for Disney cards. I think every time you get a special reward in an envelope you get 1 kick. You can earn kicks for walking in places, scanning, buying things with your linked card (I linked a card, no issues with any sort of shenanigans or data privacy) or buying through the app. They really really want you to buy stuff through the app. Nearly all of my kicks were earned through walk ins. We live near an extremely large mall and they were doing a special thing with one of the stores which was earning us 3000 kicks A DAY for weeks at a time. The trick is to keep an eye on the app because a lot of times there will be special 100 walk in kick days.

My husband earned enough to buy a chromebook, I earned a lot of money at Target. It's worth it if you have the time to invest (or get super lucky like we did) but if you aren't shopping through the app it takes basically forever to earn any money.

Holy Moly I couldn't imagine earning 3000 kicks a day for a few weeks. I would love that! I downloaded the app 19 days ago and I earned a $25 gift card as of today! I am waiting until I have $50 to turn a Target GC into a Disney card for one of my upcoming trips. The problem I have now is that I have to wait 2 weeks until I can check into Target again...boo but I can still scan things there.

The YES! on the envelope means that you have collected the kick for that Editor Book. You can collect 100 kicks that way a day until you run out of books...there were about 300 when I started and I get between 3-7 a day now from the books.

I have discovered that if you have the items at home, you can scan them there too...and you can scan items listed for Target while you are at Walmart (an example) most of the time. I really haven't put a ton of time into this app so I will gladly enjoy the rewards!!

I love shopkick! I have had it for a little over a week and I am over 1/2 way to my $25 Target GC! I noticed today that if you scan the Ritz crackers you get 100 kicks instead of 25! Today only! I will be stopping by Target on my way home. I also don't get kicks for walking into Target for the next few weeks, but it is nice you can still get the scans. I can tell people have been kicking before me because the UPCs are facing out . Another tip. My husband downloaded the app so on the weekends, I bring both our phones to the stores and get double the kicks. It is just so awesome to get GC for really doing nothing much except help with market research. I have 2 people signed up under me and I am hoping to get more so I can get those 2000 kicks!

How do you scan thing . I tried but I must be missing something because it doesn't work.

We only have one walkin store jcpenny and I never go there. Now if Walmart was a walkin I would be kickin it all the time

When you see the item you want to scan, click on it on the list and then you have to click on the blue button on the bottom right that has a little bar code and the # of kicks available. Then you will see that you can scan the item with your phone's camera. Some items are tricky if they are a curved bottle but just keep moving it or use your thumb above the bar code to push the bottle in a little to get it to register. And check every day because some items may have bonus days...like today those Ritz Crackerfuls are normally 25 kicks but they are 100 today!

I keep getting an error message. IT says "Oops! Houston, we have a problem. We can't seem to locate you-tap the menu to referesh and try again." Maybe that's why I didn't have it downloaded on this phone. GRRR.

I don't know if there is a limit with ShopKick but I haven't heard otherwise. I had $25 in random Target gift cards and I cashed in my kicks for a $25 Target gift card last week. I turned all of them into a $50 Disney gift card to use this summer! I had the ShopKick reward instantly on my phone and the cashier easily scanned it...couldn't have been easier!

I'm driving by my local Ford Dealership tonight and scanning a car for 1,000 kicks! Woohoo!

I have also started using mPoints with a few apps I have (The Weather Channel, Dictionary.com, PunchCard and my son plays Jurassic Park Builder) and I almost have enough for a $5 Amazon (or other) GC there after just 4 days...easy work when I am at home at nights With mPoints there is a limit that you can only get 1 gift card of each denomination each week. Their $1 Amazon GC is 2000 points and a $5 one is 12,500 points but you can only get one $1 each week.

Lucky you. I drive by Ford 4 times a day (to & from work/home) I don't see that as an option for me.

Do you have your location services on? If not, than you cannot scan. I only turn it on when I am near/in the store otherwise it eats up my battery.

I did have it on but still got the error. I waited a while then tried again but still got the message. I will try from the Walmart parking lot later today hopefully. I turned it off again though. The battery on this phone is chronically dead anyway!

I don't know how it got on there but it was there Tuesday and Wednesday and it is gone today. I did get it scanned last night.

I also have stores on my app that we don't have within 100 miles of here so I have no idea how it works

There is no limit to how many times you can get a certain gift card. I usually cash in for a Target card at every $10.

I'm hoping you can buy Disney cards with Target cards or else all my crazy scanning lately is for nothing lol I've seen people say they've been able to do it

I have been having problems in Macy's getting it to recognize I am there and I am super bummed because this weekend was 150 walk-in then yesterday was 100 walk-in. I brought my phone and my husbands. I went to the middle of the store, different floors, outside then back in, turned location services off and on. So frustrating! I walked in American Eagle right next door and it registered instantly. Not sure what is going, anyone else have problems with Macy's? It wasn't just one store, it was 2 of them in my area. I have a 3rd near my work so I may try that.

I am almost to a $25 Target GC! My DH Is almost to a $5 Target GC! This is so fun and free and even my daughter is getting into it. Which is nice because I would like to give her one of the GCs to use for her souvenirs when we go in July.

At Macy's I have to go in and find a speaker and stand right underneath it. Once I found one that works for me, it has worked every time. I do feel silly but I am enjoying the rewards! I have turned my Target GCs into a Disney one but YMMV of course.

Great! Thanks! I will give it a try. I am sure people give me funny looks because I am holding 2 cellphones and playing with them. I keep thinking people are wondering "jeez can't that woman break away from her electronics?" Not when free Disney $ is at stake.
