Hi everyone! We head down to DW from NC tomorrow! We've been there many times around this time of year, so we know to expect the weather to be 'all over'. But for those there now, is it warm enough for 'summery' type clothes? Or on the chillier side? I'm just really trying to pack more efficiently, and I don't always trust what the forecast SAYS...would prefer to get a 'real time' opinion to help me avoid pver[acking (as usual)!!!! Thanks

Well, I just got home and had every temp from mid 40’s to mid 80’s during my five day trip. Bring layers. Pack one pair of shorts or summer weight pants, one pair of warm winter weight pants, and most of your clothes for a 70 degree sunny day. Bring one jacket, preferably one that blocks the wind. We wore heavy jackets on Tuesday, lighter jackets on Wednesday, and short sleeves with no jacket yesterday.

That’s what I was thinking … one other question.. open toed shoes or closed? Lol

I have a friend that just got back, she said it was chilly, it was a high of 58 on Tuesday. But the forecast for this weekend is in the 80’s, so I don’t think it will be chilly during the day. Bring a jacket for evening.

In my opinion, if going to the parks, it is never open toed shoes and always solid sneakers even if it's 100 degrees with 90% humidity.

I am in Tampa and it is back to being miserable. It will be in the 80s with insufferable humidity.

We visited the first week in November and had days in the upper 80’s with a good bit of humidity (although not as bad as the summer IMO). It was sunny all week with no rain. Evenings were in the 70’s; I brought a light sweater the first evening, but never used it. I had packed a few “chilly weather” things, but obviously didn’t need them. We returned home to temps in the 40’s.

Here now. Have been very cold earlier this week and today have been hot. @fla4fun gave you very good advice. It looks like the warm weather is back now, though.

I always underestimate how cold it can get and don't bring right clothes. Feel silly because I am from Minnesota and the cold doesn't usually bother me. :teeth:

I flew in on 11/25, it rained early in the week, was really cold a couple of days, & today was 80+ - so warm. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 80+ again.
I happened to have warmer clothes w/ me since I’d spent Thanksgiving in chilly Boston so I wore them on the cold days, bought a poncho for the rainy day & switched to my lightweight summer type clothes today.

We just headed back from Orlando yesterday! The week after Thanksgiving was cooler than expected, and one day was in the 50's! However, the closer to this weekend it got, the warmer it got with highs in the 70's. The temp is expected to be in the low 80's while you are there, so enjoy:)

We are here now and leaving in the morning. It was warm today and yesterday so shorts and a t-shirt were a must. Wednesday was colder and Thursday I wore long pants but could have been comfortable in shorts until well after dark. Since then all shorts all day.
