I do not go on Ebay and have never sold anything on there but I have a couple questions. I just went through a lot of my daughters toys and they have a lot of nice stuff in very good condition that they don't play with anymore. Ex. Fisher Price dollhouse with most furniture sets, many MANY Sweet Streets sets along with the town mat, etc. A friend of mine told me to take pictures and she would put them on Ebay for me and try to sell them. My question is how should I take the pictures? Should I plan on selling everything together as one set or everything individually? Maybe the house as one and all the furniture as another?? I'm so confused! TIA for any help :goodvibes

I sold my daughter's Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse with dolls and furniture and got around 120.00 for the set. I was pleased with that price! Your best bet would be to search completed listings of the items your selling, and see which way would get you the most money. Good luck!

Seperate the Sweet Streets out and make sure to mention you will combine shipping on them and that you have multiple listings. That way if people are looking to fill in the gaps in their collections they would still bid on your items.

I would sell sets separate too & don't forget to factor in shipping costs. The larger the box, the more you'll need to charge for shipping.

When I first started, I'd get the items boxed up & go to our local USPS for quotes to different zip codes or quotes in response to questions about shipping. Now we have a small postal scale & that helps a lot.

With the recent cost of shipping through USPS though, I found FedEx to be best for larger things. You can get shipping cost quotes through their website; you'll need zip you're sending to, measurements of the box & weight. FedEx is near us so I used to take the packed box to them for a quote; if I got the same figure they did I figure I was doing it right.

You'll also want to be sure to pack the items well so nothing rattles around in the box. Makes the items less likely to break too.

Good luck! Selling on ebay is fun & a great way to get WDW funds!

Check and see what similar items have sold for. It would be easier to sell as a lot but the shipping you would have to charge would probably be a lot.

I would try craigslist first.. this way you avoid paypal and ebay fees.

check other auctions for similar items for ideas on the price to start the auction at and for ideas on ways to take the pictures. the more clear and detailed a picture is, the better. in my experience, a grouping of similar items will sell more quickly than single items for sale.
