Those special blinking pins????

I dont know what they are called exactly, but the are for each of the 4 parks and they light up on certain rides and parades. How much are they? Can I purchase them ahead of time before I go to WDW?

Each pin is $15.09 plus tax. You can purchase them at all four theme parks and the World of Disney. Not sure about any mail order availability.

Not sure if you can order them before you get there - but they are really a hoot - they go off like crazy on some of the rides and during the parade!!! We had a ball with ours.

I thought they'd be fun, but I just couldn't get past the sticker shock!

I had to just laugh! I brought home one of the Magical Moments pins and had it sitting on the dresser. All of a sudden the thing went off by itself. I'm not sure what technical things sets it off or I was having a "magical moment" and didn't realize it.

I have also read that the batteries go out fast.

We got them the beginning of the month. The batteries lasted until we got home, but I ended up loosing one of the backings on both of mine. I had gotten the kids the lanyard to keep their new pins on and ended up loosing the special 100 Years pin I got free with the purchase of the illuminated ones. So just be sure to keep your eye on the backings while they are on you. I would have been really bummed if I lost the illuminated one!
