So obviously everyone on this board listens to disney music, broadway music & mainstream.

I know you guys listen to old music (anytime before the year 2000) so i'm wondering what old stuff do you listen to? be it cheesy or stuff your parents listen to.

[Example: Absolutely (Story Of A Girl) - Nine Days]
if you don't know that song it's..

This is a story of a girl,
Who cried a river and drowned the whole world,
Oh she looks so sad in photographs,
But I absolutely love her when she smiles..

most of my music is from before 2000. I'm not the biggest fan of recent music (and I love "Story of a girl" btw)

i just spent forever trying to get that song to play on my mp3 player. i hate the stupid touch screen!
raawwr.

i adore Billy Joel, Bryan Adams.. Foreigner.. lemme think xD

you can give examples if you want Shelby... i'm bored, i need some sort of a conversation on something.

I went through my current play list, and picked out some of my favorites

sixpence none the richer, which is from early nineties. I think they're still together. not sure. (kiss me, there she goes)

the clash, circa 1983. (rock the casbah, should I stay or should I go, train in vain, cheat)

Lynyrd skynyrd (whats your name)

ABBA (momma mia, dancing queen)

Cyndi Lauper (she bop)

smash mouth (I'm a believer)

I think tatu is from before 2000 anyway (all the thigns she said)

elvis (too many to list)

bill medley (I've had the time of my life)

mickey and sylvia (love is strange)

the buggles (video killed the radio star)

I've got a ton more

I have to say I have a guilty pleasure of late 90s pop. Like Nysnc, BSB, Christina, Britney, etc. :)
Especially 2gether. (anyone remember them? The mockumentary boyband MTV created? haha I <3 them... U + Me = Us. hehe)

and of course, the classics. Beatles, Eagles, Billy Joel, Beach Boys, etc.

I don't like much of the recent stuff...I am more of a 70's - 80's girl...but I do like some 90's.
