Those Newbies... in a tent keeping warm?? Post 22, Thank you All!

Coming from a Michigander who tented this year for a Halloween trick-or-treating weekend...by a lake...with temps in the 30's at night...

All of these ideas are great! For our chilly-bump camping, we have found using the egg crate stuff and heated blankie with the air mattress made for a real cozy warm sleep. Definately keeps the heat from transfering out of your bed. To keep our noses from freezin', we plugged an electric heater in to warm the space.

Yes, a bit of ventilation to keep from steaming the place up too.

Well, we are off tomorrow and I’m just too excited to sleep! Also, I had to stop by & say Thank you ALL one more time!!!!
I really don’t think we could have done it without you!!
DH is still a little nervous about the temps however
I’m confident with all the help I received here we will be just fine,
and what a trip to remember!!

I cannot wait to return & post a trip report from Those Newbies and
also am truly looking forward to hanging out on the Camping Board
with a really nice bunch!
