Are these available at the World or do you have to go off site to get one?

Our last few trips, we've found them sitting outside vacant rooms. Apparently Mousekeeping put them out with the trash and if I needed one I'd just nab one. Figure it was headed for the landfill so I was doing my part for the ol' environment. :rolleyes1

However...tell the kids they are NOT for sitting on! My DD (6) had quite the surprise when she sat down to put her shoes on, immediately crushed the cooler and ended up sitting in a pool of ice water. DH wasn't happy either with the wet carpet and mess.... :rolleyes1

I saw them for sale at the Beach Club Marketplace in June but didn't look at price

our last couple of trips we have picked one up at fort wilderness. It's also a great place to watch the water parade, and depending on the age of your kids there is a campfire and movie.

We learned our lesson though... make sure you put a tray from the cafeteria or something like it under the cooler or it will soak your carpet.

I got mine from Garden Grocer. And then I left it by the ice machine for anyone to take when I was leaving.

You may want to consider bringing a kitchen bag to use as a liner in the Styrofoam cooler.

Last September while staying at the Pop Century, we went to Wal-Mart on Turkey Lake Road to get a cooler. The Styrofoam coolers were $2 and change and were located in the main entrance of the store. That evening, we loaded the cooler up with ice and tasty beverages. Several hours later we awoke to the sound of water dripping on the floor. I was not expecting the cooler to leak. The following Day we went to Target, where I purchased a small box of large sized kitchen garbage bags(the white ones). I used a bag in the cooler as a liner. It kept all the water from escaping onto the floor. This year when I return, I will bring a couple of bags with me.

What a good idea! We have a fridge this time but usually use one of these and put a tray underneath but this is a much better idea. We had the same thing happen to us with the water dripping.

Great idea--I'll pack a few bags. We always have Wegoshop grab one for us at Walmart to take to the pools with us. We try our best to offer it to someone else at the end of our trip. Not always as easy as it seems:confused:
